I really want a good KIND scenery. Yes I know there are two ones out already, but they are medicore at best. I know there is also the Indianapolis megascenery, but it doesn't cover KIND, which makes it something I'm not particularly interested in.

I recently got into flying the Majestic Q400, and I have flown the real Q400 quite a few times in regional airlines. I have always noticed a weird (But pleasing) sound when the nosewheel touches the ground on landing. Kind of like a PTU, but not quite. Does anyone know what is is? (Bonus: If you have a video/mp3 file of the sound, please leave it down below. I love it! Thanks!)

I was experimenting with some sun/flare effects earlier this evening and tried reverting to my original suneffect.cfg file backup. Well, in a moment of impaired judgment, I accidentally overwrote my backup instead of reloading it. Is there a chance anyone out there might be able to copy/paste or provide me the full text of the original FSX suneffect.cfg file (Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator X)? Thank you!

Is there any easy way to update navaids(vor,ils,runway frequencies)in fsx.i found a world navaids package installer for fsx on www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html.i read the documentation but it is very complicated.Theres something about uninstalling an bgl file.Can someone help?

Greetings guys, As I was reading through the Aerosoft support forum I found this post (http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/87834-holding-patterncircuit-dattente/?p=629454) On it; one of the admins had mentioned that there will be a Whole New product for the Airbus A320/321. I contacted the admin and asked for more info, All he said was there will be many major improvements in the new product, and it is not an update to the Airbus X Extended, but completely a new product. I now have FSX and the Default “Current Location” is Friday Harbor. Was there a version of FS that had the Default Current Location in Hawaii ? What version was it? And is it near an FSX Airport so that I can re-create the scenario? Thanks in advance JD

Hello, I have troubles with the Eaglesoft Citation CX2.0: during descent, the MFD freeze and the frame is reduced significantly. Eaglesoft doesn't reproduce the problem and is not able to fix it. I would to know if someone has a workaround ? I love so much this plane but it's not flyable like this. Thanks, Vincent

I was wondering if there is a way or a utility available that will refresh the AI traffic MSFSX without resetting the weather. I was using FSGRW for weather and it was nice because on initial weather load it would refresh the AI traffic so it was using the correct runway from the get go. I want to use the REX+ WX engine but find that after loading the WX into the sim ATC will almost always direct me to the runway being used before the weather was injected often resulting in me getting directed to the opposite end of the active runway or to some random runway that makes no sense. Anything that can be done here that WILL NOT reset the weather, just the AI?

Ok, I am not sure if this issue is the aircraft or pmdg here. I am getting this weird problem with the pfd(I looked my windows DPI settings are at 100 and my resolution is at max). I have a photo here of my problem, but it seems like all the numbers have dissapeared. I am pretty sure I didn't miss a step because first of all I started the flight witht the "ready for takeoff" setting, as well as the autopilot working fine and the plane not giving me any warnings whatsoever that related to that.So I have no clue what it may be. Also just a random question if I have to reinstall will I have to reinstall the airac as well, because I keep getting storage errors when installing…

I have a problem when setting up camera views with Opus. Sometimes when trying to set up a Camera view, FSX will crash, reporting ntdll errors. I just wish Opus had developed an in game interface to set up camera views so we don't have to minimize FSX and use their external interface because sometimes just minimizing and maximizing FSX makes it crash. When trying to set up the view most of the times FSX just doesn't stay put also - it minimizes itself when I start to interact with Opus.

Hi all, I'm having some troubles with AES at EDDB. It works fine at other airports I've enabled it, but at the new Berlin it has issues. I've also asked the good people at Aerosoft, but so far they couldn't find an answer. Because I've been waiting for some time now, I hope that over here someone might have any clues.. Or does anyone has it working just fine? A great lesson learned today. First let me say that in FS, I fly a bit of everything. I'm mainly into high quality GA at the moment but I do also like the airliners, and have the PMDG NGX, 777 and J41, the Aerosoft Airbuses, MJC Q400, etc. Today, I decided to take the A2A Cub up for a flight around my latest scenery purchase (PacSim VFR Appalachia, on sale at 12 Euros!!)...... I have not flown the Cub for a long time. Anyway I set up FSX and sat there at Martinsburg KMRB in my parking spot. Set up my viewpoint to be in the front seat, hand cranked the engine (as you do with the A2A Cub) and was ready to taxi...... As I set off, I noticed that the aircraft was lift…

Hi Folks. Does anybody know please, why I get this dreadful loud jet engine noise when I select a flight in the Free Flight panel. Even a Cessna. It is not airport surrounding noise as I still get it on a farm strip, when I first enter the cockpit on aircraft selection, whatever airplane it may be. If I scroll through the various views using 'S' key tower, spot views etc, when I get back to the cockpit view, the horrendous noise is either cut by 80% or it has gone. If I then click on any of the tabs, i.e. World to get to Time and Season, when I return to the cockpit view the noise returns, and I have to scroll through the various views to get back to the cockpit view wher…

Dear All For some reason, night textures are as on the screenshot. Tried reinstall, tons of settings in Catalyst, rebuilding shaders, all sorcery like that, nothing seems to work. It was fine yesterday. What might be the reason/fix that I am missing here? Best Regards and Merry Christmas,

I currently use ASN for weather and Opus for camera and dynamic DHM. It would be better on performance to just use Opus but when I load the WX with Opus I get the local WX reports but do not see the weather. I can be at an airport reporting IMC but I see clear skies. I am using AS2012 graphics. Also will the PMDG T7 WX radar work without ASN running? These two issues is what is keeping me from purchasing the new version. Thanks. Vic

I have just found this great program thru my friends at Misty Moorings.Did a search and could not find the answer to this.It seems I have to save everything each time I exit or else it goes back to default settings.Am I doing something wrong?Thanks,Ron

Rarely, but occasionally when I try to start an engine, the aircraft spins rather than the prop. Of course this brings on a rather crazy crash scenario. Presently, I am seeing this with the "ShakyJake" Cessna 195. I believe I have seen the same thing with Bill Lyon's J3 Cub and possibly others. Seems to be unique to single engine props. I am suspicious that it also has something to do with multiple monitor selections. The only way to stop it is to shut down FS, select the aircraft again and start all over. I have no idea what causes this. Has anyone else seen this happen and have a clue as to the cause? Respectfully: RTH

1. Receive ATC clearance. 2. Set my transponder to the assigned code in the Radio Stack. 3. In my Reality XP GNS GMAGTX display, the numbers never match the same setting even though everything seems to work fine. ATC acknowledges my setting as correct. Is this the nature of the beast, or does someone know what causes this with a possible solution? I posted this on the Reality XP forum, but never got a reply. In all honesty I butchered the post so badly I don't blame anyone who read it. Don't know where my mind was. Hopefully I thought it might get more exposure here. Respectfully: RTH

Hello, After allot of research I have discovered that most people seem to play FSX at 30FPS. For a while now I have been chasing 60FPS. As in Fs2004 I get 60FPS on the highest setting, with loads of add-on's and high traffic levels. My system can run FSX perfectly fine on 30FPS but when I'm not in a demanding area of the game I can keep a stable 60FPS. Sadly traffic robs my frame rates. I am just interested in what would you say is the best frame rate to play the game at? I wish FSX would run as perfectly as my FS2004 would but that doesn't appear to be a possibility with any type of hard ware. Thanks for reading.
