Recently purchased the PSS320, which IMHO, is fantastic.Big effort to learn it, but am slowly digesting...However, one thing I dont love is the visual model of thePSS320. The thing looks like a B737 in the nose section.Therefore have taken to using the PSS320 cockpit with thePA 320 model. Anybody know how to get the virtual cockpitin the PA 320 to load the PSS guages? I reckon its somethingto do with the VC section of the panel.cfg of the PA 320copied version of the PSS320 cockpit.The other reason I like this combo is that the skins for thePA 320 are free, even still, I have already purchased 5 skinsfor the PSS bird! (as a major skinner myself, thats a first.)Eric

Hi,When you taxi on grass you can throw up dirt so could it be possible to create an effect so that when you land or taxi in the wet you throw up water? I've seen effects in the library that simulate mud.... I think; so could someone make a water effect? I don't know how you could couple it to wet weather though.-Paul

Can anyone help me with this. I downloaded the file and istalled it as it told me. But when I put the figures in my Simubuilds A345/6 I'm not getting anything. I installed the guage, but nothing is showing up. Can anyone tutor me on the installation of this fine addon. I have fs2002pro.ThanksMatt

Hi everyone, I just returned from a trip to the Bahamas for a couple weeks, and before I left, someone was creating a Grumman Mallard. From what I could tell, it looked great and I was eagerly anticipating updates on its progress. I have been out of the loop, though, for 2 weeks, so to the creator of the plane, is there any progress worth mentioning at this point on the model? I would love to see a turbo Mallard in Chalk's Ocean Airways' colours. :)George

Can someone explain to me why I am, all of a sudden, unable to download any files to a directory?I have always downloaded the zips, etc.. to a directory called download on my HD. All of a sudden today when clicking on download I end up with an open folder on the desktop that contains all of the files of the zip that I downloaded. I am not getting an actual download to a directory, but to a temp folder and the zips are automatically opened in that folder. I have not changed any settings! How can I get the downloads directed back to a permanent folder on my HD? This has me totaly stumped! I have never seen this before!Any help would be appreciatedhttp://members.cox.net/pste…

I know I will get flamed for this but I couldn't care less.If you have a 128MB vid card set ur aperture size to 16MB. Yes, you heard me one six EMM Bee. The overall performance is much smoother and offers higher fps than any other setting with my computer.My unprofessional explanaion for this is that by setting the aperture size that low you are forcing the vid card to use its own, mauch faster memeory more effective.Just try it, you have nothing to loose and can always go back.Especially forget the old saying to set the aperture size to half of your memory. That was with 16MB vid cards. But do not set it any lower than 16 or you will disable your AGP.Alex

Hello all,lately I have become suspicios of Apollo Soft. In the May of this year, they have announced the FlyByWire. The ultimate A340 (A320??) simulator. They have planed the FBW to be released during the summer months, June to be exact. Now, in the middle of the August, there is still nothing. Not one preview picture, not single word from Apollo Soft.! Are they still planing to release FBW? Did they run into any problems? I was flying the awesome FSD T38 the other day and it occurred to me that what was missing was a sonic boom. I was thinking that now that the FS2002 software developers kit is out that maybe some gauge programmer could program a gauge to creat this for the supersonic aircraft. It would add a little bit of fun to flying these jets!

A few weeks ago I posted a lengthy account of my recent experience with flight lessons after having somewhere around 3000 hours using sims. I'm still progressing through the syllabus very quickly but I will admit now that MSFS has created a few bad habits that I think it is worth considering.First, last time I took lessons (about 12 years ago and with far fewer sim hours), landings came pretty easily to me. With less than 10 hours I was already getting my share of "greasers", and that was on a short narrow strip (N03 - if you are interested). Hi there,bad system crash....had to use winxp's system restore for the first time today and surprisingly it kinda reversed some of my manually installed FS2002 files, including the update for Bill Grabowski's ERJ panel for FS2002.FSNordic's site seems to be down and I can't find the upgrade neither at avsim nor at flightsim.
