Hi i am new with this program how do i use this program? and what does it do? i downloaded a AFCAD file for JFK Intl now what do i use next please help me with this problem..

there's nothing like flying klax-rjaa only to be give 4 go-arounds systematically under the ms atc. pls. advise what is the best atc add-on to offer a more realistic flight; i.e. is there anything available that would accommodate basic iaco step climbing over long routes and still maintain an atc presence? pls. excuse if this sounds naive but i've only just discovered msfs. regards. braun/.

The other day when I was flying with my AI maxed all default, I got an error message saying it could not display certain items and gave me some numbers, this happens only when I have AI enabled, its all edfault no specail things downloaded and now it dont work! the picture shows the error message, anyone have any help?Kurt

First, I'm not a pilot (have had a total of maybe 10 minutes controlling a real Cessna 172), so what I'm really looking for is confirmation (or correction) from experienced pilots--here's the point. For a long time, I've just felt some planes in FS2K2 seem to handle more realistically that others, and feel as though you are actually moving through air rather than on rails. When I change vc view from 100% to say, 50% so that I can see the whole cockpit in one glance, the external scenery is also changed in terms of perspective by 50%. is there a way to change the actual vc view while leaving the external scenery view at its original distance...(100%)? Hi,It seems I can never find any European repaints for the FSD planes. I have the Cheyenne (and the Commander as of last night :)) but ALL the paint jobs for both planes are from the states.Does anyone know if there are any European versions? Great planes but the paints are a bit of a disappointment in the 'global' dept.Any ideas?Thanks,Simon.

Hopefully someone can enlighten me here. I keep reading that NVmax does not work with the latest drivers (>29.42), nor does it work with GeForce 4 cards.However, I have been using NVmax with 30.08 drivers and a Ti4600 card.And I see differences in the different settings. For example, trilinear filtering does not look the same, nor as good, as level 64 anisotropy.Also, NVmax certainly does affect my AGP settings, etc.So, if NVmax no longer works with my setup, then why does it seem to?Thanx for any help! I'm thinking of going to RivaTuner, but why if NVmax does work.

Several of my prop engine aircraft do not appear to have any startup smoke effects even though there is an effect file fx_engstrt.fx in the effects folder. What may be the cause of the problem and how do I fix it so that my classical airliners belch out some smoke????Thanks for your help!Airbus

Every 3rd party is almost redone and including the new feature thats Msfs provide in the latest version. so why the compatibility from previous version of Msfs?I am asking this question because, Ms should works on others important things, like weather,recording video, better 3d object, scenery etc.. I love the Flight1 Cessna 421!! But (and there is always a but!) the sounds are decidedly not stereo. As faulty as the stock Baron and King Air are, one of the things I truly like is the feedback you get from not having the props in synch. It's extremely realistic (just as annoying as flying is a real turboprop - those things are never fully synched!). Now that I have a real throttle quadrant and can control throttle/props and mixture separately, I should be able to recreate the "whoooop...whoop....whop.whop..whoop...whoooop" sound and I can't. I think both engines were recorded at the same time (while in synch)and that sound attributed to both channels. Bottomline, has a…

Ever since the 29.60-current driver set. We've had to use tweaking programs to get the fullest of FS2K2 and other games. I usually used NVMax since I downloaded the 30.82s. NVMax has since gone unsupported. I was wondering...what tweak utilities do you all use?My opinion:NVMax: Best & most simple tweaker I have ever used. No problems at all with it. Too bad they don't work on 29.60-current.GTU(GeForce Tweak Utility): A little more complicated and can be dangerous if you don't know what your doing. 30.82-Unsupported by GTURiviaTuner: INCREDABLY HARD to use. I wouldn't use it unless you memorized all the NVIDIA registry settings because it doesn't contain any help files…

hey guys does anyone know if there is a fix for this scenery. the problem is that it all looks great but the taxiways and aprons dont seem to be solid when i taxi on the taxiways my plane bounces around and dirt comes from the tyres. i would apreciate any help thankyou.

I just read an artical in 'Computer Pilot Magazine' about mountain flying. In it, the author says he likes to do his mountain flying with FS2002 in the Pilatus Porter. I checked the file library here and could not find one. Anyone know where I can download it from?Thanks,

Hello!Got bit by the flying bug and recently loaded up FS98 after about 3 years of being out of it. My question is what will I gain by upgrading to FS2000 or FS2K?As I understand it ( and feel free to correct me) is that I can fly on Vatsim with FS98 and the correct version of Squawkbox. However, in brushing up on whats out there, most of the virtual airlines are using FS2000 or 2k, so to participate that way I almost have to upgrade. So beyond these 2 items, what features are available in 2000 or 2K that make them worthy of upgrading to?
