I recently read a posting about a fix for the "Thrust reverser unlocked" lights for the standard B737-400 in FS2k2, done earlier by Andreas Jaros for FS 98. His gauge was also used in the FS2k2 fix. I had to re-format and re-install everything on my harddrive and lost this fix. Does anybody know where to find the info on how to install this gauge again?TIA,Onno Bulk

On my old Athlon 800 system I had a problem with FS2K2 I could not solve. In the air the sim was smooth as silk but as soon as I touched down it would start to look like a slide show and the ATC voices would be garbled. The FPS counter indicated 18-20 with an occasional dip to 10 but it appeared to be more like a constant 6-8. This was with all settings about the mid point and AI traffic around 20%. On my new system I have the same problem only my settings are all 80-100% except AI which I still keep around 20%. With new hardware I get great frame rates with smooth performance until touchdown then stuttering and garbled ATC voices. The only common parts between the two s…

Need help from those wonderful gurus on this site.The braking of the waves show up as squares, they follow the same sort of sequence, and they run all along the coast. I'm thinking of corrupted or missing texture files, if so, anyone knows which ones should be reinstalled.And second, the AI traffic is missing, ATC is on. When I try to go and see what's flying out there by pressing CTRL W, my aircraft is the only one that appears, nothing else, no traffic at all. But if I go to Europe, Bremen airport which is the addon available for it, I can see all the wonderful traffic around me.All my sliders are to full. Any thoughts are highly appreciated, thanks!

Hello, I want to get a new machine that specifically works well with flight sims. For various reasons, I want to buy a pre-built and have narrowed the vendor to Micron. Here's my first stab at a spec. Can you guys please comment? First some questions, then the spec.* For the CPU I have the option of 2+gig chips with a 533FSB (what is that and do I really need it?).* Do I really need 512meg of RAM or will 256 do?* Do I really need a 128meg video card, or will the 64meg do?Thanks for any help. In FS2000, I'm sure that when one called up the Navigation option on the menu bar, one could set the sim to enable half frequencies on the ADF amongst other things. When I try to do the same in FS2002, all I get is an EFIS box. Something missing in my sim, or is this right? How do I set my radio stack to be able to home in on "half" frequencies with the ADF?Usual pearls of wisdom gratefully excepted, amigos. Hi all,I have noticed a strange behaviour on my PC with Win XP Pro + FS2002.When I try to apply left rudder (with the keyboard not a joystick)to any aircraft,it doesn' work but right rudder works well (very annoying).This happens only under Win Xp, I have tried with my old PC under Win98SE and I can apply left rudder.The installation of FS2002 Pro is the basic one without any add-onsCan someone of you help me?It would be greatly appreciated

Hello,I just downloaded the new Eurolot ATR 42 by Anniette and the new mdl file for it by Paco... the first problem is that when I load the a/c, it is half sunken into the runway.... the second problem is that the a/c registration on the top wing does not appear (completely) as well as the "red e" is missing totally from the top wing and partially appears on the bottom wing. Other than that, it is a pretty good repaint. Is is just me with these problems and does anyone have a possible solution ?Thanks in advance,DarekC

Hi,I'm getting some seriously low framerates when I have large clouds. I find my framerates fairly acceptable when the clouds are numerous but small, regardless of how many layers there are (I'm using FSMeteo). But it seems odd to me that I can have three or four complex cloud layers and some nice aloft wind and take no framerate hit at all... and then sometimes I get just a couple of rainclouds that are absolutely ENORMOUS and my framerates drop to about 1 or 2 fps. It's so anoying!!!Does anyone have an idea of how I can stop this from happening?I'm using FS Sky World and I took a look at the texture sizes... but they don't seem to be very big. As much as I enjoy my Alaska/Canada bush flying, I also enjoy flying in Australia. To that end, I just visited Sydney Flight Center and downloaded some very nice sceneries, including Brisbane International, Katoomba and Hoxton Park. The Brisbane scenery installed and loads up just fine. I then installed the Katoomba scenery, which installed okay and loaded up fine as well. Unfortunately, I seem to be missing some textures..... what I'm seeing amongst the trees are some tall, vertical 2 dimensional white or gray rectangles! The ReadMe for Katoomba says it needs Airport2.6, VOD, Nova and NovaGold texture sets. What I have installed are Airport 210, VOD3, Nova and NovaG…

Suddenly all my runways are gone, just grass is left. I have a GForce 4, TI 4600 and yeasterday I had to restore my registry. Since then I have no more runways. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thank's in advance.

I just strapped into a Northwood 2.4 after upgrading from a P3-1Ghz machine. What can be said, but "W.O.W.". My Ti4400 has been liberated! The difference is unreal - it's a whole different sim. It's like cutting butter with a hot knife. Even SimFlyers scenery is liquid (how bizarre is that!). I downloaded Jim Campisi's NY bridge fix. The bridges that are fixed are GREAT. There are still some missing bridges. I tried to locate Jim to notify him, as asked, but there is no e-mail address in the file. If anyone knows Jim,or his address,please let me know. Hi,I have the full registered version 5.1, and I frequently get a box coming up just before the weather download has completed "This version has expired, please contact the author...." amd FSM closes.I have been using Fsmeteo for several months now, this has happened in the last 2 or 3 weeks, to get it to work, I must delete the fsmeteo.ini file in c:windows and unzip a fresh copy, because if I don't it comes up with an "cannot find ICAOweather.dat".I have a ADSL connection and I use Local Access" or "default connection" I have Dialup disabled.If anyone can help I would appreciate it.CheersJulian

I have a question ...Does Cardiff airport in the UK have an ILS .... ?I fly PSS747, and have found that I can't lock on to the ILS ...I have been told that Cardiff is British Airways 747 maintainance airport, if this is the case wouldn't it have an ILS ... ?Maybe it's just me and I am doing something wrong but I have never been able to tune the Cardiff ILS in, and yet in the arrivals list for Cardiff in the 747 FMC it clearly has two ILS ....This is a puzzle .... :(Any help on this would be welcome ...Regards,Wac :)
