I've lost all cockpit lighting when flying at night and in some planes, even the cabin lighting is black. That is, the cockpit and plane is dark on spot plane and tower view at night. This is the same for all aircraft. Is there a file that possibly got deleted and can be replaced without having to re-install the entire game?Thanks.Fever

Hi people I'be been having trouble with the ND on the PSS A320. The sim stutters (pauses for less than a second every few seconds when I turn, be it on the ground or in the air) when the ND mode to set to anything but the PLN mode. Once the ND is in PLN mode the sim is fluid and I have no trouble at all. It's not a frame rate problem, I have a decent system with lots of RAM. But when the ND is in another mode other than PLN, i.e. ROSE, ARC the sim 'pauses' for less than a sec every few seconds. When I fly straight and level performance is great, it's only when I turn, whether it's on the ground or in the air.I asked about this over at the PSS forum, but I haven't go…

I'm looking for two things and can't seem to find either one:1) Here's the easy one: where can I download the available SDKs for FS2002? There doesn't appear to be a link to them from the MS FS2002 pages.2) I'm specifically looking for any information on how to possibly import global weather observations en masse into FS2002, sort of like the built-in weather download works. Hi,I'm just looking at the possibility of putting some vapour trails onto my aircraft and the question I have is this:Vapour trails normally form in humid air and can be seen coming off of the trailing edge of the flaps, but do they also tend to come off of winglets where fitted. i.e. on the 747-400 and Airbuses?I know a load of designers put vapour trails in the smokesystem entry of the aircraft cfg file but these just seem to come from the flaps, is this right or should they also be set up to come off of winglets?I've looked at loads of aircraft pics and none are totally clear.What do you guys think?Thanks,Steve.

Hi everyone,Recently after I've installed a new graphics card driver, my graphics seem to be very blocky, whereas sometimes they're very smooth.After I've pressed Alt+Enter twice to exit and enter Full Screen Mode the problem seem to have been solved, but the graphics become blocky again after some time.I've switched on Anti-aliasing in FS2002 and Anti-aliasing to full in the settings page for my graphics card. I've even installed the latest DirectX drivers, but all these don't help. Can someone please help me? Over the last weeks I had stutters, sometimes more sometimes less. I have a fast system and could not really remeber if I always had them when I got them....I tried everything. Playing around with the IRQs, tweaking my video drivers, ,tweaking flightmax... Actually it got better, but it never went away. Today I made a flight frm LSZH to LOWJ through the alps (pretty daring with their weather at the moment). The computer almost stopped. Framerates were degrading so fast, that I knew there must be something totally wrong. I tweaked and played again. Nothing would make the problem go away. Is it just me, or are we seeing rather more than we need of "splashscreen" and "gate" files in the library? They seem to be endless, and it's becoming hard to find the real stuff. I'm sure most of us make our own splashscreens anyway - am I wrong? - and thus all these uploads are really just a sort of glorified screenshot forum in the wrong place, maybe. And with 24,000 airports in FS2002 (I believe), I guess we haven't seen the last of the AFCAD files either as they come out in different versions by different people, one by one.
