Everytime I see the Caravan on floats taxiing, it's taxiing on its tail. Anyone else get this?

This gem was downloaded about 2-3 weeks ago, then pulled from the library for revision. Among the requests some of us made was removal of the second pilot... Well, it's back, and I've only seen the screenshots, but it looks like the second pilot is gone, and the panel has been improved again.... Hi,well this is kind of an odd suggestion, but I really do not need the 2D panel for most of the GA aircraft. Why? Because I have the GoFlight units and also realityXP running on a 2nd monitor.Does it make any sense to remove the 2D panel? Will it help performance. What must remain in any case in order to let the plane still function properly?I know this is kinda odd. But how about it?Alex

Heads up on this one, YRoute has just been improved, you'll find it in the file libraryYou know how the AFCAD files are coming out with multiple airport overlays and your required to split your traffic to make them work well, now yRoute allows you to do this in the click of a mouse plus a heap of other cool stuff all with the one interface.This program is done nicely by a very tallented developer, it's free no time limits etc and is a great front end to TTools, with this and AFCAD just about all your AI manipulation and tweeking is done.Enjoy

For awhile there great things were coming at us right and left - the C421, Archer, Cheyenne, FLightMax, RealityXP. I thought there was a Seneca and a Navajo on the drawing boards but those seem to have quieted down. The RD4 has dried up, at least for the near future. The Dreamfleet 152 project sounds awesome but a long way off. So what big projects might we expect in the next 2-3 weeks? Anything?Just curious (and anxious!)David

A morning at the Cradle of Aviation Museum on Long Island, checking the paint scheme of their wonderful Pan American Goose (NC16913), had me checking things out on Airliners.net when I got home. Not only is she well shown there but I also came across the cockpit of Jimmy Buffett's Air Margaritaville Grumman HU-16C Albatross, 'Hemisphere Dancer' (N928J). Well, it's finally the time I ask this question here :(I play FS in windowed mode, to get higher FPS (at least that works for me). when selecting the resolution from the Display Properties (Hardware section) I select the one I'm running in my desktop. BUT...I found out, after a while I get lower FPS...and if I change the resolution to another value, FPS seem to go up by 10 or so...after a while they return to the "low" mode though...I could be changing the resolution every two mintues and get high FPs all the time, but there's gotta be another way...So the question is, why do I get higher FPS right after changing the Resolution if I'm running in windowed mode? excellent virtual cockpit, exceptionally fine work from the "Groundcrew" - Matthias Pomeranian and friends - CFS2 package but works flawlessly in 2K2 and she is a real honey to fly. I was wondering if anyone knows how to modify the position of lights as defined in the "LIGHTS" section of the aircraft.cfg file? I d/l the wonderful Beech Super 18 yesterday and noticed the landing light beams are about a foot below the leading edge of the wing when turned on. I'd like to adjust them so they're properly positioned.Also, does anyone know how to modify an aircraft's texture files to remove it's multi-texturing? Same aircraft has multi-textures, but they're constantly going out of focus. I'd like to convert them to a plain old texture and can live with any performance hit it might cause.Thanks in advance,Dave

how do u take photos of planes in fs 2002. When u can download them from the file library thers pics with them but i want to know how to take photos and then look at them. I recorded a video thing while i was flying and i did another one on aonther flight and the one i was looking at went to that flight if u get what i mean737 air france i took a video of737-400 BA flight i took a video of but when i looked at the air france one i came out to carry on with the BA flight and i was flying the BA 737 on the 737 air france flight confused?????i just want to know how to take photos???any help appreciatedIan

I could REALLY use some help here because I am stumped and almost get nauseated at the thought of having to reinstall FS2002.Over the last few days, FS has started acting up.Whenever I try to change views, like from external to back into the cockpit, or zooming in or out from within the cockpit, FS locks up and dumps me back to Desktop.I have tried starting with a new FS2002.cfgI thought that fixed it but spoke too soon.Since I recently acquired a new joystick, I tried going back to the old one, no dice.I have rebooted the PC, turned off EVERYTHING in the background, fresh FS2002.cfg, default Meigs field; STILL does it!!I have even ran a virus scan on FS to see if that is…

Hi,when I use flightmax together with the C421 I will have 50% framerate drop. All other planes I have do not experience a framerate drop at all. To make it even more strange: I get the drop as soon as I show flightmax. Even if I do not even initialize it (turn it on). Can someone shed some light onto this. Is anybody running flightmax together with this plane without having a serious framerate drop?Should I reinstall the plane?Of course I also posted this on the flightmax forum, but here are so many more people which might have an idea.Alex

I have to Heavies proceding out of the same terminal. The push out is Ok. One turns, then the other, but they cant make up their mind which one should go, or should I say ATC cant decide? Anyway they just sit there. Well here comes an arrival and guess where he needs to park? Yes thats right, at the same terminal. Now theres 3.Lookout here comes another arrival but he is on a taxiway between the two runways and he's not moving either till the other moves. Now to top it off here comes one on final approach but guess what? He has bee instructed to go around because the one plane between the two runways has his butt sticking out. This a note to those who have downloaded FSD's amazing Freeware T38 Talon. They have released a patch resolving a number of minor issues and making this incredable plane even better. The patch has the file name "fsdt38sr.zip", is about 2.5 MB in size and can be found at flightsim.com. This is a must have!Also a number of years ago FSD offered their commerical FS98 and FS2000 versions of their great Concorde package as a free download. I downloaded their FS98 version but didn't download the FS2000 version. As I recall the download was quite big (3 or 4 files at about 8 MB each).
