Hello,Even if I am right on the tail of a 747 that is just taking off, I can't hear anything at all. It just does not sound natural to hear only your own engine's sounds. Anyway to hear the sounds of the AI aircraft ? Also, maybe it's the laptop's tiny speakers that are the problem, but I can just barely make out the sounds of the landing gears going up/down. Wish there would be some way to generate that loud "thud" sound when the wheels (heavy aircraft) just leave the ground during take off. Anyone know anything on this issue ? Thanks.

I have just "uploaded" the G73 to AVSIM's library, so hopefully it should appear there quickly. Hi guys,If there's a good Aircraft.cfg guru around here, then I want you to add a "Fire F@rt" (actually the default FS2002 engine fire effect) to the Nimbus 2003 Flying Broomstick, by Shigeru Tanaka. After you download the thing.... See the guy flying the broomstick? Anyone planning on doing "Tales of the Gold Monkey" repaint?

When running FS, I get flickering on the screen on overlaying screens. Also, sometimes, the lights on certain planes flicker. But if I have FS running, and have a winsow overlay FS, that window will flicker a lot, but when I take it out of FS, it's fine. Is there because of poor monitor refresh rate within Windows XP or is it something else? Anyone else with this problem?TIMMY!!!

Okay guys, I've got my asbestos suit on. I know I've seen this posted here before and I've looked through the first 12 pages to see what the solution is but I can't find it. I've got some aircraft sinking into the ground on landing. Even from the field that I just took off from. Specifically the last one was the FSD T-38 taking off from Meigs and sinking into O'hare then after reloading I tried landing back at Meigs and sank again. Restarting FS2002 cured it that time but it's happened to me before and with several different aircraft. What's the solution or how about pointing me to the right post?

These two shots may not be the best but...Using the Anywhere map moving map which works on an ipaq pda (or any pda) (and in the real airplane hooked to a gps). Using Peter Dowson's gpsout you can use it with fs2002-not only a great add to FS but valuable practice for the real world.I can't say enough praise for the AWM-there is nothing it can't do and I am coming from a Garmin 195! hi all,i have a problem when flying at night. well, flying is actually not a problem, but the taxi is!!when looking out of the cockpit in the front view i can see all the runway lights and everything else looks fine, too. i just can not see the (blue) taxiway edge lights. i can see them when looking into any other direction as left or forward-left etc. also, when changing to tower view or spot plane, they are perfectly visible.i used to have a tnt2 and never had such problem. now i have another computer (amd 1800) with a geforce2 mx/mx400 running windows xp. it

Hi guys, I was wondering if any of you could help me with a problem that I am having with my FS2002. I just installed it last night, and everything goes well untill I select a flight. Shortly after the cockpit shows up and the scenery loads, a black screen appears and it freezes.I using Windows ME with a AMD +1600XP, with a Microstar NForce motherboard and video card.Any suggestions would be great!Thanks,Mike L

Hey all, I am looking for Times for like Continental or AA, UA, For Departure's or Arrival times to Asia or U.K ares. I am using the World Ai2 Ai Flight plans for Ai Traffic but it does not have all the Flight's to the Asia Ares. I went on Airliners.Net and saw that Continental had 777 Fligt's to Paris,VHHH, etc.....but do not know what time these Flight's depart or arrive at thier destination's? And IAn Webber's Ai Plans do not have these Flight's in there so i would like to add them, I went to Continental Web site to download the timetable, but it gave me an error, so i can't get those flight time's?? Greetings all.About six months ago a message was posted on this forum by someone who was getting scenery error messages in flight sim. An answer was posted by someone who had found the culprit...the default Mooney that ships with Flight Sim had lost it's prop! The error message is a pop up which says "Scenery not found..this means some buildings etc. will not display."The solution was to go into the Cab files on the original MS discs and replace the prop texture. Hi , huge fan of bush flying in FS and as such use the good ol Beaver a lot.One thing that is annoying though is that I aint found a GMAX version of it yet, anyone know of any plans for a good Beaver MK1 out there ?Laters######

Is there a way to remove the runways/taxiways so that you can see the terrain underneath? I noticed on the back of the FS2K2 Pro box, they show a picture of San Francisco airport with what looks like the satellite imagery instead of the normal runways/taxiways.

I tried to load up a couple of my old FS2000 DC-9s from Project Freeware tonight but (despite the FS Edit treatment) they wouldn't load as the MODEL wasn't accepted by FS2002 ... 3rd party, not compatible, etc. Two quick questions:1. Are Project Freeware no more? Can't find them.2. If so, has anyone produced a fix for these aircraft? They're lovely planes, and it would be sad to lose them.
