Sometimes the wispy clouds (not volumetric) seem to turn into 8 bit clouds and the only way to correct it is by minimizing and the maximizing fs2002. Anyone else see this? I've tried about 5 different video drivers for my riva tnt2 ultra and I still get this. Any fix? Running in 1024x768x32 but does it in 16bit mode as well. Another thing I see is sometimes when clouds are overcast they sometimes disappear to clear skies unless I change the views around and they come back. I've got to live thru another year of this?Tim

I have a P4 1.3, 256+ megs of RAM and a GeForce 2 GTS. I get around 20-25 fps with medium settings for detail.I download an amazing looking scenery file for LAX including vehicles, jetways, etc. and the bottom line is that even with everything set to the minimum I was only getting 3-7 fps. What a disappointment.Is this based primarily on the video card, the CPU, or the RAM? I already have a fair bit of RAM so I'm wondering if moving to a GeForce 4200 ti would somehow give me the oomph to get decent framerates with complicated scenery, or am I just wasting my time? Are these things only usable by people with bleeding edge machines that are maxed out on everything?Any advic…

Been thinking about purchasing this package but noticed in the fine print at the Realair website that 3DFX (Voodoo) cards may exhibit problems. Was wondering if anyone with this card had purchased the aircraft anyway, and if so, how did it perform? Thanks in advance!Redeye

Had a system crash due to unknown reasons, and now my start menu in XP doesn't have My Computer/Control Panel etc. on it. See attached pic. It's not a major problem, and I can live with it... only, it's just a bit ANNOYING, know what I mean?When flying over any landscape, the autogen trees appear in the distance but if I look at them, they disappear again; they just keep on occasionally write then deleting themselvs, until I get closer when the problem ceases. Where I once enjoyed animated sea with sun reflection I am now onlyable to see low quality static texture without any sun reflection or movement, only the waves breaking on shore. I' ve tried maxing everything in the display settings to no avail. I also activated the terrain texture as stated in the FS2002 help, loading new sea textures and reinstalling the whole thing without joy. Okay lads I don't know if you remember i posted a message some days ago about performance problems with POSKY's 767-300. I used Lee Hetherington merge program to use POSKY 767 ,odel with the PIC panel. Works fine, perfectly really, but I still can't go anywhere beyond FL330. It happens the same thing as before, the plane loses power and stalls. I tried different fuel configs, almost everything. Does anyone have a solution to this?Cheers!

Hi all,I have just received my BASIC ATD from TRC (www.therealcockpit.com) and am now able to close the main panel display of my 172 on the monitor. However, I need to adjust the view out of the "window" to reflect the view height/perspective over my ATD. I have looked at the VIEW line in the aircraft.cfg for the 172, but to my eyes adjusting the height in this changes the height of the plane from the ground and not the height of the pilot in the plane.Any advice on this would be grateful. Also is there any "scientific" way of adjusting the outside view so that it reflects the correct perspective as would be seen out of a 172 (bearing in mind that I have a "real" main p…
