Hi,I have a problem in FS2002. All clouds that are not an overcast are really too transparent, like without consistency. From far I can see through and when traversing it it's not like entering a cloud since I can see the scenery through. What is this problem ? Could it be a graphic driver problem ? (I have the 3D prophet III).Thanks for your help

Yesterday, I downloaded from the www.realairsimlations.com, the SF-260 and needless to say I'm quite amazed at Rob and his team's accomplishments. The plane is magnificent and the aerobatic's are second to none for an MSFS 2002 add-on aircraft. I mostly fly PS1.3a and PIC767 'heavies' and I'm really enjoying this highly manuverable SF-260 with it's aerobatic capabilities to spin, slip, etc. I believe it is the only MSFS aircraft that can model this behavior..I also can't say enough for the support if you need it. I have noticed that there are a number of vehicles that are included in the FS2002 Prof. Ed. contained in the FS2002/Scenedb/folder/Vehicles/TextureCan someone explain where they have to be installed so they are viewed on the ground at an airport.Many thanks,Rob Halmich

what freeware 757/767 panel does everyone suggest? I have tried many, but none have really been what I'm looking for. I tried the "767 deluxe panel" and a few others, but they either didn't work well, or just didn't do it for me. Does anyone have some suggestions? Thanks!

Okay, I had to take a break today from the real-world Dash-7 liveries and try it out in my favorite livery... FedEx! Imagine it -- plenty of cargo space and the ability to land on a 1200' runway. Is it possible to set fuel in Kgs instead of Gallons/Pounds?I set FS2002 at metric(feet) and my FMC accept Kgs, butwhen I want to load fuel I still have to select Gallons/Pounds.FlyerNL

For some reason I can't fly back to back IFR flights. I fly flight one and go back to the main menu. Then I create or load a different IFR and when I go to the flight, I'm only given VFR clearance. If I completely close out fs and restart from windows, then I can go IFR, but again for only one flight. This is a huge inconvenience as I lose my real weather.Any ideas? hi,I just saw under sytem properties-performance,that only 65% of my system resources are free?I guess this is not normal and so i think I'm currently having much less performance than I actually could get.what could be the cause?no anti-virus running,...could it be something from outsied (spyware or something like that?)any info appreciatedSebastian

I was making an ILS approach to KLAX 25R in near zero visibility in a 737 and just before touchdown the fog broke and I saw brown ground instead of asphalt. I still landed safely but a hundred yards or so short of the runway. Is that common? I nailed the glideslope and approach speed so I'm not sure what I did wrong.

I am now flying with my TRC (www.therealcockpit.com) basic atd panel and therefore am able to switch of the display of the main panel on FS2002. Obviously the viewpoint (eye level) changes and have have changed this (shift-enter). However, as soon as I change the view to left or right etc then return to the from view the viewpoint level goes back to the default. How do I change this permanently?ThanksDavid

HiSee attached screenshot.Of late I get an annoying 'boundary' between where textures appear normalish and where they appear completely blurry. On the screenshot, 'south' of the red line indicates the normalish area.I can't work out why it has gone like this? Anyone got any tricks/tips/tweaks etc that I can maybe try?Card is a GF4Ti4400 using 40.71 drivers (same effect with all the 40 series of drivers).EDIT - other system specs are XP1900 & 512mb DDRThanks

Hi, I would like to use FSUIPC for single engine plus multiple engines with prop/Jet reversing capabilities.Controls: CHPRODUCTS FLIGHTSIM YOKE USB AND PRO PEDALS USB.I think this is possible but I have not figuered out how to do this.So far I can set FSUIPC for the single engine without this capablility or the multiengine with this feature but not both at the same time. Since reinstalling FS2002 I have had an annoying little problem with my POV hat switch on my CH throttle. On my Ch Joystick and Yoke the view will automatically switch back to the fron view on release of the hat switch, for some reason on throttle where I have the right and left forward and backward views programmed through speedkeys I have to manually swith back to the front view. Any ideas on how to correct this? Thanks!!!!

OK, I upgraded everything. Got a new P4 2.4/MX440 64meg (yeah I know, that video card sucks) ;-)My problem is that after an hour usually less, my system just starts to run out of resources, stuters and becomes unusable. I never had to reboot as many times as I do now just to fly.I was running a 500mhz system with SDRAM before this, now I get 2.4G's and the thing can't handle this game??? I don't get it? I use enditall as well. Any ideas?

I have a problem which has been the subject of much discussion in the PAI forum but I need a wider audiance to try and solve/confirm the puzzel!Problem - Default and PAI aircraft will not display night lighting (not navaids but tail/windows/reflections) on my system which is an AMD Duron 800/512RAM/VooDoo4 4500 AGP 32Mb/W98SE.The general concensuss is that it is the graphics card with which I have the latest drivers installed etc. etc.What I would like to find is two things:-A) has anyone else got this problem?:( has anyone with the same (or similar) graphics card not got night lighting for thier aircraft?Very grateful for any feed back before I ask the bank manager for e…

I cannot believe what I saw last night on ITV Meridian News. Someone has opened up a 'flight simulator' for members of the public. They didn't mention how much it cost but by the hype they were giving it didn't look cheap. Well, I was quite interested, then they showed the flight sim. It was a dark room with a quite large flat-screen monitor - I don't know, maybe 32" or so - and the flight sim was... FS2002! Even the controls were just a fancy but standard pc joystick. Simmers,At my wits end!! got a problem, everytime i swith to VC view the panel flashes white then returns to normal textures. This effect i beleive has somthing to do with the sun reflections as if you turn the Plane through 180 it does not happen ( panel in shade) I have tried every know setting,every Nvidia driver using the Destroyer each time but to no avail. Tried every setting on Fs including Glare on off. is this just my set up or does anyone else get this and can i edit any files to stop it. Have tried a fresh reinstall of FS.Any ideas? Just lost the the F12 key for right braking. The F11 key for left brake works fine. All other keys work fine too. Any ideas?
