I finally gave this one another try. Im in the middle of working a fairly clean 737 old colors for Delta. I like em just out of the paint shop so no real dirt is gonna be on this one. I still think there are a few shape issues but they arent that big a deal really. Nice model overall and nice features. Heres a shot of my latest tweak, will be another few days before I get done I think.http://www.flightsimmers.net/airport/hornit/Yd.jpg

This is a cry for help on behalf of a friend who is looking for a texture set for the FS98 Magrathea scenery of the South-East UK.The file is called UK-SE04B.zip, and was done by Tony Billings. Due to licencing reasons, the file was pulled from the Magrathea site shortly after release, and I never got it myself. If any of you who used the FS98 Magrathea scenery still have this file, could you please let me know. Thanks,

  4. Has anyone else noticed that the heading select on the Dreamfleet 737 autopilot does not work when the panel is combined with the Ariane 737?I have seen the post about changing the flaps section in the cfg file. Are there more modifications needed to get the panel to work?Bruce

Hey all, I have Windows 2000 installed on my system, and I am havinga problem with the dual monitor support. First my system:Homebuilt, With 512 MG RAM, PNY Ti4600 with the 40.41 drivers, 80 Gig HDD, 13 Gig HDD, My Packard Bell 2020 on the VGA out on the Ti4600, and My Gateway Ev700 on a DVI/VGA Adapter, OS is Win2k, and Mandrake Linux 9.0(woo woo ;-))My problem centers around my EV700. Win2k sees it, displays to it, and has for a while. But yesterday, I was on it, and the 'blue fog of death' came and enveloped the monitor. After some investigation, I found out that the red channel was not being displayed, however, monitor self tests shows that it works, and so does Ma…

Has anybody done this successfully yet? I've been trying all of today and always have some problem.. like autopilot works horribly. Or the flaps aren't working correctly or all of these problems that make it not good enough to use. I am thinking about buying the Ariane panel and that should work.. comments please. If you got the stuff working share your work please.Drew Andersonhttp://www.dr3w.net/flightsim/

Hi Rob,first of all you already know that I love this plane. However one thing I do not understand. The gauges backlighting is coupled to the landing lights. I do not know but I guess there is technical reason for the coupling. However wouldn't it make more sense to e.g. couple it to the Nav lights? I really hate to fly with my landing lights on all the time, especially in rain or clouds.Alex

When ordering the Sf260, PLEASE PLEASE take care to enter your exact e-mail address. We have had a spate of purchasers wondering where their download link got to, whereas in fact it was sent immediately to the address they gave on the order. While we don't mind helping people out, this simple task, which is there to protect the purchaser, is the most common reason why some purchasers don't get the download link immediately! Also please note that on some systems you need to lower security settings to "medium" and make sure that your browser is set to "enable username and password prompt". This is usually set by default in IE.The above would save me hours of support work - n…

Hi,Recently I installed a Geforce4 Ti4600 (128MB) on my system (AMD 1Ghz, 512MB).I know that the CPU was and still is the bottleneck, but I wonder what graphical processes are taken care of by the Ti4600 (and thus less by the CPU), so I can increase some sliders/settings without a severe hit on the framerate:T&LMip MappingAAMulti TexturingFilteringReflectionsShadowsTexture QualityEffects DetailExtended Terrain TexturesTerrain Detail TexturesThanks for your help.

I'm not going to bother posting images since they don't do justice... but for anyone having any performance doubts in mind about upgrading the videocard, let me tell you its worth it.My system was as follows:AMD TBird 1200 running 1400GF2 Ultra 64MBAbit KT7A Mobo512MB PC133 Ram3D score 4353Immediatley changing the Vidcard to a Leadtek GF4 4200 128MB popped my 3D score up to 8000 with 30.XX drivers.Today I installed XP and the 40.41 drivers, it further increased my 3D score to 8845 points, and boosted my fps to 26 from 21 sitting on the ground at Meigs during day with sliders cranked in the 172. The blurries are gone and its all good!!Chris

Everyone, if you have even a passing interest in flying what is probably the most realistic flight model ever created for FS - RUN and buy this plane. I was so blown away by the way it feels that I forgot to lower the gear as I landed it for the first time... [;)] Seriously, this is right up there with the Dreamfleet planes and PIC for that totally immersive feeling of actual flight. The rudder authority in this plane eclipses anything I've ever seen before in FS - you can do snap rolls, fully straighten out a crosswind landing, do real sideslipping etc.. And yes, the spins do work very well!I know this looks like an ad for the plane or something, but I just seriously…

Hi all, I was doing an early moring approach into Heathrow the other day and my little guy ask me if we could see Stonehenge. To humour him I said ok and loaded up a Cessna and took off from Portsmith and headed NW. I looked for a long time and couldn't find it. So, my question is.... Has anyone ever seen Stonehenge on FS2K2? If so what is the proper Lat and Log? While I am on the topic, is there a complete list of FS2K2 Easter eggs out there anywhere? Thanks guys!Per Ardua Ad Astra! (CYZX)

I just upgraded my system not long ago to a P4 2.53, 512 PC2700 (333), Chaintech Main Board 9EJL1, and a PNY GeForce 4 ti4600 video card. I thought my new system would just down right "rock" when it came to FS2002 :(I constantly have stuttering and blurries....I have tried most newer drivers....30.82's, 40.41's, and the new 40.71's--all are about the same. I have my frame rate locked at 25 and rarely ever go below that...so frame rates are really good.I pulled the jumper on the Mother Board for the on-board sound, just as an experiment and tried it with no sound at all.....same ole' stuttering and blurries. I also went and set my AGP apeture size from 64 (default) to 1…

Just tried the 4071,s from nVidias site. Nice crisp textures, frame rates about the same as the 3082, but alas no support for Steroscopic 3D.:(If you use the ED glasses and the nVidia Stero Drivers version 3082, neither the 4071 nor the 4052's have support for these.
