Been thinking about purchasing one of the Phantoms and perhaps a B17F as well. Hi, just bought my first pc, and after years of hankering after a decent fs, bought2k2. All these lovely planes on the web etc. So, download em, but how do u unzip them so you can actually use the things?! This is very basic I know, but I can't find this info anywhere. Suggested sites anyone? As I said, pc Virgin!!

In some of my aircraft.cfg files for project AI, I have atc_heavy=0 and in others it is atc_heavy=1. I assume all project AI aircraft are considered 'heavy'.

hi all i downloaded the PAI Delta a few days ago but i dont see any Delta AI traffic, can anyone help me out on what do i need to doto fix it, or is there going to be a revised release which fixes the auto installer?thx

In to fall and the trees are a little later this year but the colors of the ground are very nice. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to de-couple the cabin and logo lights from the landing lights in some aircraft...in particular Mike Stone's 727-200? I love this airplane in the day but at night my only choice is to fly around with my landing lights on all the time or to have everything go black. Is there a command in the aircraft.cfg file that can be modified for this?Any help will be welcome.Vonat

Does anyone make a multi-engine throttle quadrant out there? At least two throttles, props, mixtures. I've been looking and can't find one.Carl

I have already completed one flight today using the PSS A319 from KMOB/KMSY at 1530EST and if FSMtro5.1 is depicting accurate it is getting nasty...QUICK.I will be flying it at least 2 more time and may do a Jacksonville/Pensecola KMSY flight to see how FSMet handles CBs and depicts them.A Noaa TAF indicates that after 2200EST the weather ought to be real awsomely nasty...winds gusting at 60kts to be followed shortly after that with TS.This is a great opportunity to get a virtual idea of what Hurricaine flying maybe like....I will be their how bout you...????http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/Us...9d503cc53ab.jpg

Hi All,, Yesterday I downloaded a bunch of repaints for the AI collection from a well known painter ( not named ) and while on the site owned by the said author of the repaints.. Pop ups where rampant.. ( I donot use pop up killer ) One of them automatically installed some crap on my system. Now every other hour or so some fricken shortcut gets placed on my desktop or IE starts with some script and the title bar of the open window just says "Internet"... IE has changed showing a new link bar.. The offending site is xupitor.com I have looked all over in my system to find some kind of Uninstall and found none.. I need the correct files for FS 2002, I have tried to edit them but I'm not getting anywhere. I want more stability, the plans pitch and yaw more than any sim I have ever flown.

Hi all,I'm having problems with a bumpy taxiway which, because of my realism settings, is causing damage to the aircraft causing it to "crash".The airport in question is the default FS2002 Rome Fiumicino and the problem area is just short of the holding point to 16R. Other taxiways seem okay (as does the rest of this one) although I don't use those as often.I have Italy terrain mesh scenery installed but switching this off has no effect and the problem persists.Can anyone else replicate this problem? If so, then an exclude file might be the answer to flatten the area in question.Cheers,

If you're having problems with bumpy taxiways causing the aircraft to "crash" please report them here. Page C Cline will do his best to create a fix for them.Please be as specific as you can regarding the position of the taxiway.Regards,

Hi. Is there any good freeware satelite scenery available for FS2002? Doesn't have to be a huge are, just a little place for flying that C172 and enjoying the view. Any suggestions? Payware is OK too but I'm a poor and stingy fellow, so preferably freeware :)Also, I remember a while ago, there was a scenery of some islands. It wasn't based on any real place, it was a fantasy scenery, but it was really cool. It wasn't on AVSim. I believe it was made by some french guys but I'm not sure. Anyone remember?

I really need some help.No matter what I do I can't get the catapault to launch.All my status messages say that sound was found that the connection to FSUIPC is correct.I slew to the proper position lower flaps adjust pitch arm the catapault hit the throttle and no matter what setting the hold control is on the plane starts to roll forward slooooowly. I wait to spool up the plane bounces a little than I release the brakes no sound no catapault no nothing crash into the sea.Can someone please help me with this

Hi All,Time progresses. And, of course, so does hardware - too fast as always, yet not fast enough. :-)Here's a great review of the Radeon 9700 Pro on a latest-hardware system. Some here tend to argue that FS is CPU limited to the point that a high-end video card doesn't make any sense, but that argument has never made sense to me. FS is a sim and as such, benefits *highly* from anti-aliasing. Every time i go on the zone it now says that it can not find fs2002...and i must install it again.I think it's something to do with the registry entry, that has been removed or someting like that. I really don't want to have to reinstall as I have too many addons to even think of installing again.Is there a registry fix, so that I can add FS2002 back into the registry...or does anyone know the key I need to make it recognisable by the zone?many thanks
