I tried several times to register on the LAGO forums to post this, but it never emails the password.I keep getting excessive taxi speed errors. This happened once during the shareware period. Since registereing the product it had only happened a few times. It seemed to only do it on multi hop flighs where I would leave the engine running between landings. I've since been shutting down between hops and I thought it was working.The last few flights I've flown, as soon as I start the engine I get a penalty for "Excessive yaw during rollout." Then I get the "Excessive taxi speed" for every minute of flight until my brakes fail. I have killed the sounds in FSM, so I don'…

Hi folks,If by now, you have installed and viewed my Atlanta Motor Speedway scenery, you may have noticed a race car at the Start/Finish Line. If you are a race fan, you probably also noted that the car is a fair representation of the Goodwrench car driven by the late, great Dale Earnhardt who was recently killed in a freak racing accident in the last lap of a race.While maybe it is or is not appropriate that his car is the only one you see at the track, nonetheless, his car looks VERY lonely on the otherwise empty track.I want some help in populating the track with more cars!!!! I've finally installed FS2K2 and let me tell you, BIG difference from FS2k.I've noticed that the clouds in FS2k2 are pretty good (default) but why are they flat as you fly through them?Is that how they are suppose to be or is their something I can do to actually make them look like "real" clouds with thickness and not just flat looking.Thanks!

Dear friends,I have always been fascinated on bitmaps. How is it that (1) 8 bit stands for 256 colours and 24 bit stands for 16.7 million colours. Is there some formula for the conversion? (2) In image tool, I find that 16 bit stands for 3 different sets of colours. How is that? (3) In Paint Shop Pro (I HAVE VER. 5), we can convert a file to 24 bit before painting. I'm stumped. It's probably so easy but I can't crack it. To fly direct to an airport using the GPS I press the button between MODE and MENU.That brings a window giving: TypeIDName.Fine. But how do I change that information to what I want? Nothing I do seems to make those changes.Cliff

I'm really confused as to how to get this working - am I reading correctly that you have to disable your joystick??!! When I loaded it up in FS2002, I had no sound and the helicopter doesn't respond with the joystick either on or off... This looks really cool and I want to see it work...Thanks!Ryan

Having been a long time fan of the work of the Feel Real Flight team, i have spent many an hour flying their high quality textures on the outstanding POSky model.I was thrilled to see that they had gone so far as to post updates for their textures for FS2002 on Avsim, which brings me to my question. Is there a Vrigin Atlantic 747-400 update? If so where can i find it?And if there isn't, what do i need to change in the aircraft cfg file to make it FS2002 compatible?Thanks for any help.air_tink

Hello,I installed all the project AI autoinstallers + base installer. Now my question is - do I need to stick with only project AI flightplans? If I go and download other flightplans based on real-world flight times, would there be duplication of flightplans ? The problem is that project AI does not have any flightplans that I am aware of for say .. American Airlines. I have seen a flightplan file for american airlines in the library but it also contains plans for other airlines as well .. which means it might conflict with the ones in project AI. Am I correct in my assumptions ?

OK, I have resized the panels and even a few of the gauge displays so that I can actually read them.The problem now is that when I save a flight with engines running, it loads up as a cold start up. This can be a real problem when the save is in mid flight. Anyone have this issue ??Mark.

Hello,I installed one of the afcad files (by Boyd Barker) that contained3 overlay files for KATL. The result of that + Project AI is this huge traffic jam all lined up for a single runway (9L). I tried using AITM to move different classes of aircraft for different overlays, but I in the "move" section, only one overlay shows up in the list (KATL) and the other two overlays (2ATL and 3ATL) do not show up. So how do I distribute the traffic to different overlays?

Hi guys, I need some help,I have built a home PC but I must confess I blagged my way through. It has been running fine but now it seems to have slowed down. I have not changed any settings but programs take longer to start up and run slower, frame rates in games seem to also have dropped, I only have two games. GTA3 and FS2002. Both now run jerky. I was wondering if anyone could help? How fast should the system be running, what can it handel? I check the task manager and it says that the processor is running @ 2% when their are no applications running. I've been looking all over for the past week, and can't find it.It was a utility that allowed one to put in the beginning of an ICAO code (like EG for England) and change the registration (from N***** to G-****). I've looked here, at flightsim, and at simviation and couldn't find anything even close to what I'm talking about. I remember on the forum within the past few months there was some discussion on getting an FFG Hawaiian DC10 painted up in the 70th Anniversary Edition. I think the issue was the font on the lettering if I recall?Just wondering if anyone had any luck on this.Chris

Just a heads up...there is a great little program that generates clouds and weather on the fly! It is available on the "other" sim site if anyone is interested. It works great
