hello all,I have some questions that have been on my mind for some time! Many of the video card settings can be set in at least 4 ways; thru the BIOS, the Nvidia control panel, various tweakers (I use RivaTuner) and thru FS2002 itself. An example would be anti-aliasing. This can be set in the Nvidia control panel, by tweakers, and by FS2002 itself.Which one does my computer listen too? Should I disable in all but one? Does it matter which one?Does it matter if these properties are set to the same settings in each?Does any of this hurt FS2002 performance?Thanks in advance,dek

Hi,When my computer does fog with mountains sticking out the top, it shimmers rather noticeably around the edges. Is there an easy fix for this? I have an NVIDIA GeForce 2 card.Thanks,Kurt

I have what now is a slow system:Pentium 4 @ 1.3 Ghtz382 Mb in RAM (planning to upgrade to 512)Gforce 2 Mx 400 (1 yrs old drivers- never updated!)Windows MEWhen I first installed FS2002 one year ago, the sim ran very smothly with an average FPS of 22. Now one year later, custom AI Traffic, Planes, Escenery, FDC, Flightmax, and the Falcon 50, my computer barely does 10-12 FPS= Power Point presentation flights. and minimizing almost all the sliders, I only do the usual Defrag and Scan disk before every flight.I know there's an application that stop all the software that is running in the background, where can I find it, is it differrent from Ctrl+Alt+Del and ending…

Hope someone out there can guide me in the right direction. I recently installed a CH USB flight yoke 3 lever and all was ok. I reset the assignments and they were all working ok until I pressed 'Y' for the slew mode.My aircraft kept rotating on the spot and I couldn't slew at all.I pressed the brake button, it stopped whizzing around and I could slew as normal!Unfortunately, on coming out of slew mode the aircraft rudder turned to the right. This was easily corrected but this is all an annoyance. I can't figure out what is wrong. Have I missed out an assignment somewhere?Help please!Donair

I lost my hard drive about a month ago and have since recreated everything except the custom AI traffic. My local airport only has one airline (USAir) and three types of planes (Dash 8, Beech 1900, CRJ). I used to have a Dash 8 repaint of the default FS2K2 and a GMAX B1900 but now can't find either. I don't even know if the CRJ exists. Any suggestions out there? Thanks!David

Went I make this flight at 50000 ft from egll to kjfk, they start my descent from kbos to kjfk 50000. went I got kjfk I was still too high to land. Question is there anyway to start descent before.

After upgrading my system from an Athalon 700, I am now able to push the terrain detail to the max. Now I'm ready for some new mesh. I thought I had heard of someone doing mesh for the entire USA, but I'm having trouble finding the link. Of course freeware is preferred, but I don't mind ponying up some cash for a good product.

When did you guys get your updated copy?? I haven't received mine as of yet, and I emailed Marc 3 days ago with no reply... is this a payware update now?? Hi,German airports is great and it has plenty of static aircraft - only in some places do they bother me as they take up gate space I would otherwise use for AI. Anyone knows which file I need to cancel in Munich? There is no file called "stat" or smthg. like that.CheersChris
