it seem this message doesn't like to to anyone..Sigh!Hi,I am in troubles with some gauges (carburettor heat lever, primers, magnetos) that are in my Gauges folder (some from FS2002 planes, some from FS2000 planes). They work very well in FS2000 but are out of order on the FS2002 panels ( example : the primer gauge works on the recent and beautiful Beech Super 18 panel but don't work on all the others). Anybody knows how this scenery looks like at lower altitudes? The screenies are absolutely amazing but are taken at the optimum altitude for the photosat used (11,000 I think).

Hey All, As you may of guessed from the title i have the problem of a sinking nose wheel on a POSKY 777. Does anyone know how to modify the .cfg to rectify the problem. Also can i modify the .cfg to make it more responsive turning on the nose wheel? Cheers Daren:-)

I joined the Civil Air Patrol about 8 months ago and have been training to become a mission pilot. Probably many don't know that in the US-if you go down in a plane-the CAP is who comes out looking for you. To train as a mission pilot you have to train as the crewmembers first. A CAP crew usually has a pilot, observer, and 1-2 scanners. The "scanners" sit in the backseat and try to locate the target-the observer sits right seat and helps with radios etc. so the pilot can pretty much fly. I'm entering data for this aircraft into my real-world flight planner that I use for simulation use. There are two specifications I still need that I have been unable to determine.Firstly, the full tank capacity of the aircraft (auxilliary tanks included) is indicated as 64 gallons in FS2002. I need to know whether this 64 "gallons" is 64 *US* gallons or 64 *imperial* gallons.Secondly, I need to know the cruise fuel consumption per hour. It doesn't matter if I get it in US gallons, imperial gallons or litres, just so long as I know which of the three it is!! Last night I flew a flight from Vienna (LOWW) to Innsbruck (LOWI) In the POSKY CRJ of Tyrolean. Everything went good until I got to Innsbruck. On final to runway 8 at Innsbruck I saw the whole airport actually sink into the ground! I didn't land cause when I got to where the runway was supposed to be the whole airport was gone! Is this a normal FS bug at that airport? has anyone else seen this at LOWI?I have FS2002 Professional and Innsbruck is the only airport I seen sink into the ground and disappear like that.

I don't know why I always can't stop or slow down the boeing 747-400CAn some give me some hot-keys in order to slow down the aircraft?

Gudday.I have noticed recently that I can spend an inordinate amount of time in a queue behind other planes waiting to move onto the runway. The sim seems to 'lock', but given it finally works I'm guessing this is meant to be 'reality'.Couple of nights ago I was at Heathrow, about fourth in line to takeoff. Everything as per normal, couple of planes take-off, one or two land, and then nothing.No movement, no landings, no ATC chatter-nothing.I sped up the sim-rate to 4x, and watched the clock in the plane. 23 minutes later, ATC pipes up and the plane four ahead of me gets take-off clearance, and life continues on.Does anyone know of any reason for this twenty-three minutes…

A long time ago I read an explanation of the conversion necessary to use David Clark-type headsets with RogerWilco/Vatsim but I can't find it. Does anyone know how to do it? It has something to do with the impedence difference in the mics. Also, the mic plug is smaller than a standard headphone jack. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! ThanksDavid

3 Question.How to shut down the autothrottle if I am using joystick?When departing, how come there is only one thrust going on but the other one stay at idle? All,A while back, I was in talks with a FS vendor who proposed having a virtual Flight sim world where we all could fly in using our own sceneries, etc...Here is what I would like to see-1. The ability for virtual pilots to accept new sceneries from other flight simmers Scenery Library while flying in this virtual world. The application would allow installation of add-on sceneries. While my P4 2.0Ghz is still chugging away happily and for the most part I am content with my FS2002 performance, I think it's time to build a new system just for FS2002 (darn this hobby costs alot). Hi All, I have downloaded and installed some overlay files using AFCAD as the install program. Inparticular i have installed some to Heathrow. However i have now noticed that the files have messed up the ILS freqencies etc. I have been told that sometimes that the price you pay for overlaying an airport! Does anyone know how i can get rid of any overlays which are causing me problems without restoring all the airports back to their default setting? Any help is much appreciated Daren :-)

Hi,I have a grave problem with an overlay for EDDM. I have EDDM and EDM2, both created by another author (don't remember who) and I did some slight modifs on it. It worked brillantly. Now I wanted to do some more modifs to create more gates, and when opening either EDDM or EDM2, I get two entries for each of them!In the first momebt I did not care and simply went ahead, creating my gates in EDDM and then in EDM2, saved them, ran the FSNav DBC, startet FS, ran a scenery library update, and... still had the same AFCAD situation as before! Has anyone ever thought of doing a Mississippi River add-on? I think It would be neat if you could have a scenic flight along the river.You could have towboats pushing barges up the river,and even stern wheelers,lock and dams, speed boats and even some old river towns.You wouldn't run out of things to see.
