Hi there I downloaded the kaitak scenery by Thomas Chung (i think that is who did it) and while it looks great i am getting terrible frame rates 5-6 fps even with all the sliders down to minimum. has anyone else out there experienced this problem with this scenery and is there a way to improve the frame rates as I have plenty of other detailed airports and none of them puts this type of hit on my frame rates. has anyone bought the Hong Kong experience from Just Flight and how does that perform?

Do somebody know how to BACKUP an aircraft? (I mean the controlling, not about files!) Very appreciated!!

i have dreamfleets archer and yes the latest patch and it still tends to pop off on takeoff, frankly the c208 with i think its rob youngs airfile is perfectly smooth on takeoff, any ideas? do i need to trim pretty heavy for a smooth takeoff or do i need to wait until i pull back until im faster, i have been pulling back at abou 60kias, and it kinda jumps a littleciao!Brian S

I've seen a few different file managers for FS that are meant to ease installing and uninstalling add-on planes and scenery. Does anyone have experience with these? Any suggestions?Thanks

Hi everybody, I keep getting this message when i bootup fs2002 or flying - SCENERY LIBRARY OBJECT NOT FOUND, this may cause some scenery such as buildings not to display 0*8co38540, 0*4c47b71c, etc. please can anyone help.

I had the most realistic simming experience I have had since flight simming 20 years ago-thanks to...Active camera pro-not only the smooth panning and ability to turn my virtual head like in a real plane but the "head latency rate" just somehow makes it feel more real..I even got a little woozy when I tried some abrupt motions-it gives you that feeling of motion even though you are not moving!! its my newest repaint. of erick cantu's 737-400. (who btw rocks) in braathens old color scheme. this is the last 734 in braathens fleet that is still wearing these colours. LN-BUFit only misses a couple logos and the name. i am a bit proud, even though i know it is prolly a lot of mistakes, but since noo one have painted this bird in this livery, i did hehehopefully, erick will let me upload itbtw: the cargo door is suppose to be like that, because the old door has been replaced by a door in the new livery. pretty neat and the tail even has the little dirt spot like the real thing;)well what do you think? comments please! and one last thing: how do i make the grey part on…

Hi everybody, I am having problems installing the aeti 747 patch fs2002. THIS IS THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS---- When you unzip the enclosed file, you will be ask for a password. Check the name of the MDL file for the Air Canada Aircraft and enter this name. Of course it is case sensitive and does not require the .mdl to be entered. Just the name and not the extension.-------- I have tried to open the zip file as per instruction but it won't open. The password i used is AETIKL742 Please can any tell me if i am wrong.

After 10 months, I finally read the book and learned to install some objects from FSSE into Fs2002. WOW! Should have done this long ago.I installed a "small fuel truck" at Airport A. Then I also installed the SAME "small fuel truck" at Airport B. When I went back to Airport A it was GONE. Cann't I install a "small fuel truck, the SAME one, at BOTH Airports ??? Thanks Jerry

I stopped flying with this virtual airline when I upgraded to fs2000 and now fs2002 because their missions were incompatible. Now, it has been called to my attention that many flyace missions have been upgraded to the fs2002 level. If you want something truly different in VA ops, take a look at what www.flyace.com has to offer. If you like to use your imagination to the max while flight simming, you will love the mission approach taken by ace...enjoy...!Sherm

HiJust went to re-download soem of the stuff I bought on there a while back to find that ALL of the links have expired. I find this a bit stupid, as I should be able to gain access to the software I bought whenever I please.I've sent a mail to them asking for them to send me the links.Anyone have any similar experiences/ideas?Rgds

With envy, I have watched all the repaints and new versions of "heavy" aircraft being uploaded to AVSIM's file library. Recently, seems there is even more uploads from designers tackling the private, single engine frames.Just curious why the King Air (specifically) seems to get overlooked by all the talent out there doing repaints and new model release uploads ?Just a candid question. Obviously, I am a King Air fan. Yes, I'd sure like some new paint options....... I use the KA most (all) the time, with only tweaks being a newer, modified .air file, an additional guage (OAT), and a repaint that is well over 18 mths. old.Any explanation - much appreciated !Thanks !Ron

My hard drive crashed and I decided to upgrad my computer. I was able to retrieve most of my files but I cannot find the Splash Screen Randomizer program and I do not remember how I got it. I have the DF737, Archer II and the 421 Cessna but will have to re-install each of these. It may be included in these programs but I don't think so..??I have tried going to the DF website but cannot find this program. I would sure appreciate it if someone can tell me how and where I can find this program? Dave in Cary, NC

when i first saw the announcement about these instruments i wanted to get them right away, but when thinking about it, i have the the reality xp gps and radio stack and fsflightmax, i use the reality xp gps for navigating and airspace and the fsflightmax mainly for the weather radar and oh.. hang it i cant think of the name, uh situational awareness of other a/c in the area, ? whats that called? anyway if i have those, do i really need these?? and why would you want both? a little confused and trying to just focus on what i need.anyone?ciao!Brian S
