AlexHI started using Active Sky a few days ago. I noticed I get extremely low OAT and TAT readings on FS2002 using the default Learjet and 737 and the Dreamfleet 737. For example at FL300 the FS temperature will be in the minus 80c range, but the FD report in Active Sky shows an air temperature in the minus 40's. When I use the FS real weather option I get normal OAT and TAT values. Any ideas on why I get the low temperatures using Active Sky?

I couldn't believe my eyes! I purchased Golden Eagle's Tiger Moth package (absolutely outstanding!!!) and was flying an included flight at Barton Field when I noticed two other tiger moths in the air. One did a perfect loop and then proceeded to climb and stall, falling off into a spin! The other was also practicing loops, stalls and spins. They are hard to spot, as they are not "labeled" but they are there and working hard!This is a truly great add on, 26 flights and ten aircraft! Hello,My system: Athlon XP 2000512mb PC2100 266GF4ti4200 128mbDetonator 40.52I first installed XP, then FS2002, it was running fine until I installed SP1, after SP1 I got lockups and video problems in FS2002, I didn't found a fix, so...I installed win2000, SP3 and FS2002, it runs fine, but I have the impressions that FS was running a little better in XP.Please tell me what you think before I install XP again :)Thanks a lot,Ulisses

I was gone almost all of last week and rushed home because I thought some great things were expected for FS on Friday. Among them was the Garmin addons (realityXP or FSflightmax - can't remember!). Nothing! In fact, not much happened in 4 days at all. Anyone know when this is supposed to come out?David

HiI recently installed a FS2000 panel in FS2k2, and it seemed to have replaced my FS2k2 Gauge with an older one. Where in the FS2k2 Cab files can i find the default GPS gauge?ThanksHenrique

Does anyone know if I can have the GPS 530 that is in Flight 1's Cessna 421 running on a remote computer using WideFS? I would like to be able to undock the 530 GPS and have it run on my 2nd machine along with some other add ons. If it is possible, I'm not exactly clear on how to undock it and drag it to the 2nd machine which is a laptop that I have networked and using WideFS. Any help on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated appreciated.Thanks,Jim

I just visited the home page at AirNav Systems and saw two packages that interest me. AirNav Suite 4 and AirNav Internet Lite as mentioned at AVSIM. I downloaded both versions to try out in the demo mode, but the Lite version freezes up with my Windows XP. Does the Suite 4 version have the same functions as the Lite Version plus additional features? Also the Suite version has no monthly fee.I would like the Suite 4 instead if it does.Brent

now, i have not seen many references to it, but does anyone know what is that ABL language?in FS2K there were many applications for the advanture programming language both in freeware and payware addons. Can i be missing here on something?Cheersha5

However had a little bit of a wild idea...I wonder if its somehow possible to take this data and match it with the AI planes in FS2002 for REAL aircraft activity? That would be most cool. Maybe some kind of link between FSUIPC and the two pieces of software.That would be excellent, though the amount of REAL traffic would probably destroy frame rate something awful.Eric

I installed the EAL-1049 Connie in FS2002. When it loads only two engines are on. After a few seconds they shut down. I have tried all I know to get them all started to no avail. They will start but then shutdown. I know this version was not intended for FS2002 but it sure would be GREAT to get it going, if possible, until a better FS2002 Connie arrives. I'm getting this old problem again. I first got it with my AETI 747-200. Now I've got it with the PPS World Airliners 2002 B777.(Not the 747-400 tho'.)After slewing the 777 to an airgate, (or anywhere for that matter), and pressing "Y" to get back to normal mode, off we go at full thrash sending everyone in the terminal fleeing for their lives.Seems that there's a bug when in slew mode that sends the 777 to full throttle. I've tried moving them back to idel but they just wont go back.If I remember rightly, there was a patch that fixed this for the AETI 747-200.Anyone else getting this with the PSS 777, or other aircraft ?Anyone got a solution ?Cheers allRick Taylor

Hi all,I just downloaded the DC3Airways DC3 and R4D. Now I know these planes didn't have GPS from the factory but I'd like to give myself a little crutch for longer flights until I learn real navigation :) Does anyone know an easy way to allow me to use the GPS with a plane like this? Is it as simple as adding a few lines in the panel.cfg or something?Thanks!

Wouldn't it be great? - if, in real life, you could go back to yesterday!! You know -- when those big OH-OHs of today happen - you could ask to be taken back to yesterday to start all over again and eliminate tomorrows' big problem!! The Cessna 421 is my favorite twin addon to date but there is one thing that bugs me about it. I now have a complete twin throttle quadrant (thanks to E-bay and the person who ripped it out of a Baron!) and lean the engines as needed (even though the real bird wouldn't require this quite as much because it is turbocharged). This has always worked out fine when flying at altitudes in the teens but I tried to fly at a more realistic altitude (Fl24) and found it was nearly impossible to keep the engines going. Moving the levers less than 1/8" made the mix too rich, back the other way - too lean. Has anyone found a way to correct this in the model? ThanksDavid

hi all,can you also set the keyboard sensitivity for the elevator trim? the pulldown menu only allows you to set the elevator/aileron/rudder sensitivity but not for the trim...any ideas? maybe possible thru a change in some *.ini file???thanx!

Hi.Never had this before but my atc won't work unless I flip a radio/avionics on switch on each aircraft. Thatd=s fine on the basic a/c but with te AIrbus and other more complicated planes there is no switch to flick. Do I have to enable this generally somewhere else?ThanksAndy

The default Cessna 182 RG has no virtual panel -- and when you cycle through the views, you go direct from 2d panel view to Tower view and then to Spot view.The default Cessna 182s DOES have a virtual panel - and when you cycle through the views, you go from 2d to 3d to Tower to Spot.BUT - there are addon aircraft which also have no virtual panel -- and when you cycle through these views , you go from 2d to 3d (WHICH is EMPTY) to Tower to Spot .. So the question is - is it possible to make the view cycling for these aircraft work the same way as the default Cessna RG ?Thanks Barry
