I wanted to post my opinion on why we are seeing such negative posts lately, and in the past as well. First off, I dont know the exact number, but Im sure that the average age of an Avsim member which posts on the forums is pretty young. Secondly, we all know that the internet provides anonymity and forums are especially prone to conversations that would never happen in a public place. Hi,I just checked Simubuild's website and they say that they have uploaded their files to the AVSIM server (I think its until there downloads section is up). I was looking for the A340-600 in the file library but could not locate it anywhere.Anyone have an idea where the files may be or how to download this aircraft???ThanksMark

I have downloaded all necessay files from the web site. I want to use the auto installer to add the planes and I assume each schedule has its own also. If there is an experienced user out there that could walk me through one install I'm sure that I can do the rest. Ok I started with this simulator (FS2K2) using the small prop planes. Then I moved up and mastered the learjet 45. My next step was to get used to flying the 737-400. Now I am ready for a greater challenge. I was looking toward the 757 as my next aircraft to learn. Hey guys,Thi is a problem I have not been able to solve. In multiplayer in FS2k2 PRO, i can only see the first person who joined, and nobody else. I can see other names in the chat box and talk to them through it and talk to them on RW but not see them. Anyone else have this problem? Know how to fix it?Thanks In Advance!

Hi to all, i just want toknow if anyone has combined, or tried to combine the PSS panel with the POSKY a330 external model. I absolutely love the A330 but seeing as how there are not any really good panels avilable right now I thought i would try this combo. appreciate all comments on this topic.

I just found out that by pressing "n" and then quickly "2" I can select the NAV2 radio frequency. That was not stated in the german manual. But now I'm wondering, how can I change the OBS of NAV2? "v" selects OBS/NAV1, as listed. But "v" "2" unfortunately shows no effect.I'm just getting into radio navigation. I could obviously use the mouse, but since I have the X45 HOTAS, I would like to control the radios via joystick buttons.Any suggestions?

The flight crew may change the PFD (which are now LCD displays, no more CRTs, well but I thought they were always LCDs... *:-*) to a camera view which helps 'to stay on narrow taxiways'. Now FS2002 will run for a few min. & then I get a error message that the fs2002.exe g2d.dll has a problem. I'm running winPX home. I'm about ready to throw this sim in the trash. Anyone know what the g2d.dll is?

My trees are all still summer green - last night when I flew I checked the date and the season and it was Oct. 15, 2002 Fall season. The only thing I can think of was I was flying in the Seattle area perhaps MS didn't include Fall textures there? Any ideas?
