Anyone know where I can find a GOOD Tu-144 a.k.a. not the FS2000 example found in the Avsim.com library?

Just a shameless plug here...I recently flew into KCOS (Colorado Springs) airport and I thought what a horrible job MS did on this airport. This airport is great. It was two runways of more than 11Kft. long, one of which is over 2.5 miles, longest in the state of Colorado. Boeing often does high altitude tests out of this airport due to the fact that its elevation is over 6,000ft. I've flown the first 747-400 tutorial flight five times now and whenever I get to the point at the start of page 16 where I have to enter the value 509 as the zero fuel weight I get an "Invalid Entry" error on the FMC. It's driving me mad as I can't see what I'm doing wrong. I'm using the Virgin Atlantic 747-400 if that's any help and have checked, double-checked and triple checked the loadout in LoadEdit.exe. It's fine and the values all read how the manual says that they should. I've experimented and the highest value that the FMC will permit me to enter as a valid Zero Fuel Weight is 408. Needless to say, that's messing up my V Speeds amongst other things. I really hav…

HowdyI just installed and am on my maiden flight. Im at FL 240 and the plane is porpoising like crazy. Also in order to keep the GS around 230 I have to have the throttle pegged full. Anyone else experiencing this. Winds are not the problem as there are none. My IAS is around 160. Any help or insight would be appreciated.Mark

I am absolutely frustrated: since a couple of flights FS crashes at some point, typically about 3-4 minutes into the flight. Always the same symptoms: ATC suddenly begins "stuttering" and FS then crashes.Now, a couple of things that may be useful for anyone trying to help me: I am using FSNav, AIMap and I have updated the voicepack. Also, the crashes have all occurred in the wider Tampa, FL area. Could any of these things have impacted ATC or the FS? Is there smthg wrong with that area? I have completely re-installed FS 2002, but still the same problem persists!All of these setups have worked without any problems dozens of times, so I really don't get it...Please someone …

After eternal tweaking with the Ti-4600 card and the monitors, I finally got fed up and left everything on the P4, 2.53Ghz. I thought I'd set zero FSAA, VERY DENSE scenery and autogen, and one or two other reduced settings. I ran FS2002 and ever since then it ran superbly with all add-ons. It ran the demanding POSKY, HJG, and PSS a/c at great frames, and the gauges and views all ran without a shudder at every angle at any phase in ther flight and over any scenery.So, you can imagine my surprise when I opened up the settings recently to discover FSAA set at 2x, EXTREMELY DENSE scenery and autogen, and 88% terrain mesh, and fps cap of 25!I have had this theory about PCs …

I normally hit "Print Screen" then open and save in JPEG with Microsoft's "Photo Editor"When I later send that picture by e-mail it appears more coarse and less detailed than the photos I see on our Forum.Is there a better way of capturing and saving?Cliff

Hello all,I'm sure I'm not the first to ask this nor will I be the last but I just lost ALL AI traffic except for the default Lear and Baron. Those are the only two I see when using the Ctrl+W key. I just went to most of the major airports and there isn't one plane sitting on the ground or in the air (except for me).According to my TTools, I have 1893 airports, 131 aircraft, 26,123 flight plans, and 211,009 total flights. But, where they are hiding, I don't know.I'm also not very savvy when it comes to offering info on what some of you that respond will ask me. Could someone check this out and advise me if it is normal in the system. When I am flying into Kennedy International at NITE on runway 31R just before touch down if you pause it and look at 10 o'clock I see a part of the terminal the is all white. I have had problems with this and also it will lock up and reboot from time to time.Thank YouGrady

I can't seem to use decimals when dialing in an ADF Frequency eg Liverpool (LPL) 349.5 everytime I enter 349.5 as a standby and transfer it to active the .5 changes to .0 It must be something I have tweaked can some one please help me gat my NDB back..ThanksTerry

Of all the companies out there doing add-on work for MSFS2002, Captain Sim intrigues me the most. I would love to see a feature on this company, the men and women behind it etc. Are they out of Russia? How did they get involved in flight simulation? What's the flight sim community like in Russia? Hey everyone. I've recently started to have problem's with Igor Suprunov excellent Sabb 340 panel. About half of the time I try to start a flight with it in FS2k2, the sim never loads and I get a blank, black screen, and I have to CTRL-ALT-DELETE out of the sime. The other half of the time I try to load the panel, it will intially load, but whenever I go to look to the sdie or switch views, FS2k2 freezes and I again have to CTRL-ALT-DELETE out of FS2k2. The weird thing is that it used to work fine, and has just recently started giving me troubles. Recently downloaded this great package. Everything is more than perfect, including Panel.However, panel is very difficult to use. It's totally different from Boeing's type panel which I used to use. Also I downloaded all respective documentation regarding panel. I realize what I will probably sink in this ocean of specific documentaion, aviation terminology and other very special stuff. Hi,i have a question about the spin accuracy for the flight model of the cessna 172 in fs2002.Everytime i try and put it into a spin it just start's fluttering all over the place, goes upside-down and all sorts of crazy stuff.the incipient stage is correct but once it goes fully developed things get crazyI was just wondering if anyone knows of a tweak to the flight model config to get this bird to spin a bit more accuratlyThanks for your reply'sgood flying
