Guys, how do I make a signature? I mean how do I put a picture, in what format and what size?Thanks, Andy

I am getting into the groove of flying business jets on fs, but most of the panels are standard generic ones, with no means of navigation except either if your VFR or manually tunning NAV aids (or have to put up with fs2002 GPS!).Are there any good advanced GPS systems out there, be it freewarre/payware whchi I could use with me LearJet 35A/Citation jets? Ideally, it should be controlled by an FMS, and have a navigation display. I have already tried fsNav, but this seems too much like a PROGRAM and not a gauge...Any recommendations fully appreciated.Thanks.

Is there a way to raise the seat without rolling the view when referring to a, say, forward_right_view? I saw VIEW_UP_EYE in the SDK but no examples. Wonder if this is what it takes.Dave Vega

Hi,While the Autogen scenery is a nice addition in FS2K2, it is - and will stay - an eye-candy feature.Virtual pilots who wish to fly in a realistic VFR environment (mainly GA enthusiasts) can't practice dead-reckoning/ pilotage navigational techniques with an Autogen scenery.Although limited to the Washington State area, the satellite-based scenery in Flight Unlimited provided an excellent platform as far as VFR flight is concerned.Being able to fly over familiar terrain with realistic landscape, roads, rivers, buildings and vegetation is such a kick ! Sure enough, FS Landclass and better mesh does improve the situation but still can't beat the satellite based sceneries.…

I just LOVE!!!!!!! the altitude and speed trendlines in the ERJ PFD. For me , they suddenly make flying jets EASY!! Before this aircraft, I was always way behind the action in jets when flying with no autothrottle. I have never seen them before on any other panel-- are they unique to the real life ERJ or just the ERJ panel by Bill Grabowski.?

Being an old voodoo 5 user I have always used Fs2k2 in full screen mode. Now, with a TI4600 is there a difference/advantage to using window mode or full screen?ThanksCharles

Well, I just don't get it. I start fs2002,get a multiplayer session going, startairbridge, start squawk box, connect, now showing three targets on the squawk box tcas, but no target on the ej145 tcas. Triedthis several times all with targets on SB.Of course I clicked the tcas button on themfd panel. There is nothing to tell me whenthe tcas mode is selected. At any rate, I seeno tcas acft on the map display or the arcdisplay. Anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

looking at PMDG's new 737 I was wondering, is the 737 ETOPS? Boeings website shows that from Boston, the 737 can just about reach london. Do any airlines, or could any airlines fly 737's from the East coast of the US to London???

I have a question for the tech guru's. I picked up a new video card this weekend that has dual monitor support. Hooked up 2 monitors and pretty cool. Anyway the question I have is screenshots. I have been using The screenshot manager from the guys at FSDesign-Berlin. Great program, but now with 2 monitors going it don't work. The only way to do screenshot now(that I know of) is the tried and true "Print screen" then paste it into a editing program, kinda a pain in the butt when in full screen mode. I am using Mike Stones version of the Continental Express ERJ 145 with Bill's new panel. I copied the aircraft.cfg and FDE for that particular aircraft, however the plane will not take off even at 250 knots with first flap setting. I pull up at about 135 knots and the nose pitches up then drops back down.Am I missing something here?Brent Hebert

First off, I really enjoy activesky, but I have one problem. When flying to my destination, ATIS is giving me the winds at my flight level, not at the airport. Many times I'm told one runway by approach, and then given the circle to land by the tower, because of the change in wind direction at a lower altitude. Is there a way to get everyone on the same page to eliminate the circle to lands. Thanks, Shawn

I've just noticed that whenever I run FS2002 I lose my ADSL connection (the pair of black/green lights in my system tray turn red and I'm disconnected from my ISP). Stopping FS2002 restores connection. Same thing happens with Earthviewer when I get to a certain point. There's obviously a clash somewhere but everything checks out ok in device manager although I see that the modem and the graphics card geforce 3 ti 200 share IRQ 11. Running Windows XP, Directx 8.1, Athlon 1800xp. Variety of Nvidia drivers but makes no difference. Disabling anti-virus and firewall software makes no difference. Has anyone any ideas whats going wrong?

Hi, Confirmed thats Fs98 with DirectX v5.0 there is no blur, installing an DirectX above 5.0 make the exact blur as fs2002,cfs,2,3 in fs98. Hey, Normally I can fix most issues with my computer..namely don't let the family use it :D ....but I am having a problem that I can't fix...:( It's a really serious issue, I get really low performanc ein FS2K2....like 7FPS!! I used to get 20FPS (same situation...default Cessna/Meigs)....Now I get 7 FPS in Win Xp...I have had 5 odd sets of drivers..same problem..aah must be something different I though....so updated the driver for the AMD AGP thing as per the AMD website...slight increase in performance....now what...system specs as follows...AMD Duron 800Mhz128MB RAM40GB Maxter 7200RPMCreative GeForce 2 MX 32MBPlease help....Regards, Matthew

Can anyone confirm that FS2004 will feature interactive flight crew?If so, does anyone know what the extent of the "interaction" will be?Speaking of flight crews, my only wish for FS2004 is that multiplayer support be added so you can have your friends fly in the cockpit with you on line. One friend can be the FO, the other the SO, it could be quite a social event. Combine it with Vatsim and its now multi roger wilco channel ability, and it could be quite something.
