I know it's probably far too early to discuss this, but I'll throw it out there anyway. Anyone know if ActiveCamera will also work in the upcoming CFS3? Any NDA-released testers try it yet?

Is it an inherent problem with LCD panels? Is it something to do with refresh rate? I have it on 70hz. Running at 1280X1024. I have an old GeForce2 64MB.THanks

Was wondering if anyone else can confirm getting jerks in Active sky 1.5? I seem to get about 3 or 4 good jerks everytime it updates the weather. I'm thinking it's because I have a winmodem which uses the processor and maybe those with real modems aren't having these problems. Another reason to be able to download all metar files at once. Great program though. Anyone else?Tim

Decided to have a look what the MICE Zurich scenery looked like before my planned flight there tomorrow and to my dismay I saw what you will see in the screenshot :-(Anyone know how to fix it 'cause it's not meant to be like that surely? I have the FS2002 update installed.

I bought Emma Field lat night. Very nice Airfield!!!!!So I took a flight down to Mt.St.Helens, which was one of the first flights I've taken in this part of the World. I took the Marchetti SF260 (only just enough runway to get her out of Emma field!!!...phew!) down to Mount St Helens and from there, took the Bell to the summit and put her down to admire the view. Nice.Can anyone give me some pointers on other interesting and challenging flights I can take from Emma Field? Of course, I want to explore myself, but I'm sure there are folks out there who know of cool places to fly to/from/over which I would never find in such a HUGE landscape!Also, now that I'm embarking …

Can any real pilots out there enlighten me as to whether FS2002 actually captures accurately the speed of the planes over the ground. I've been flying everything from the Cessna 172 to the BAe Hawk as flown by the Brittish Red Arrows. The latter (Hawk) seems to 'handle' as quickly as I'd imagine it would do in real life but it's speed over the ground seems incredibly slow (i.e. looking out the side window) even when hugging the ground at around 50 feet while doing 500 kts. Is this a limitation of the programs rendering engine?I'm not running the program at maximum graphic levels etc. and I'm running it on:WinXp HomeAthlon XP1800256mbGeforce 2 64mbDuke

Some sceneries i downloaded need common'airport' and NOVA textures to work properly. Where do I find those, please?Also, as seen below, some of my sceneries have large white blocks instead of textured buildings/fences. How do I cure it?

I read in one of these threads about FS Genesis coming out with a landclass pack for USA. Is this true? Is it just a landclass pack, or are textures also going to be a part of it? Anyone know?Lobaeux

I was on www.simw.com, and the date for A320 PIC has been pushed back to 30th November. I cant wait sooo loooong :(:( How come its taking so long. I wana see some new screenshots. If i get updated with some new shots and info then i ll be willing to wait till X-mas :-)I hope A320 PIC is worth the wait. Finishing this one up shortly, thought I'd give you all a preview. As far as 737's go this one isn't very bad but some of the proportions seem off to me and I am looking for a newer versionof the 737 200 which "gets it ALL right" Specifically the nose areaand forward fuselage and the engine nacelles. Dear Hardware Gurus,My system specs include an SIS 6326 (my on screen device) on a P3, 450 MHz, 64 MB RAM, 4 MB AGP card, 20 GB HDD. I do not plan to get a new system until around the time FS2K4 is released. hii use activeSKY to get more realistic weather.but now the problem is when i fly IFR to an airport it says me on wich rwy i have to land. everything is working and when i get the clearance to land the ATC give me an other RWY for landing because the wind is different to than when FS choose the RWY.thanks

The new POSKY CRJ-200s are one of my favorite FS2002 planes. The visual model is incredible. However, I have a hard time taxiing, flying and landing these birds both hand-flying and even with the auto-pilot. Perhaps I have been spoiled by flying aircraft such as the PIC767 and Flight1 Cessna 421C which have excellent flight dynamics.Are there any POSKY or 3rd party FDE updates out there for the CRJ-200 series?

Has anyone actually collided with an A/I aircraft in flight. I've come face to face with a couple on the taxi way, but we just sat there looking at each other. Just said heck with it and exited.

Dear friends, do not become offendet. I post this here due to lack of responce in the FLY forum and I do know that the majority of experts are located here.I have just set up a brand new fast system and use all sims. The system consists of a 1500mhz cpu and a GFTI4200 card with XP pro.The same problem happened on my older pc. Drivers are up to date or older if they are stable.Apparantly other have run into this problem. I have read all documentation on FLYII plus FAQ section from Ken Salter and beginners quide. joystick! I am trying to find a website that has a left handed (or a joystick that is universal - nothin fancy - does NOT have to have mucho features or buttons). My best joystick I ever owned was $20.00 bucks. I've have/had the better products i.e. Microsoft Sidewinder Forcefeedback (gameport), CH Yoke 3 lever USB (sold it for $75.00), CH Rudder with Toe Brakes USB (ain't ever gettin rid of it :)) and a Microsoft Sidewinder USB (presently using). Ok, here's one for ya...I'm running FS2K2 with FSUIPC 2.92 (same problem with other versions).When I go to an area that has any kind of precip, rain or snow, it doesn't show in the cockpit view. When I go to the "Spot" view, nothing shows (precip) until I place the view behind the plane. I then see snow or rain falling. I go back into the cockpit and the flakes/drops disappear.I'm running FS2K2 on a P4 2.4ghz, 512MB RDRam, Geforce 4 4600Ti 128MB video card. Is there a tweek to the taxiway lighting? I can bearly make them out from the cockpit view and have to switch to an outside view to see the runway exit. It seems to be the only night lighting anomoly I'm experiencing. Everything is default FS2002 except for a few third party A/C. I did a search on this but didn't come up with anything specific. I'm sure this has been asked before...Using the 145 that came with the Grabowski 145 panel I do not see the landing lights in the cockpit window. They are visible on the side views/overhead views/etc. Is this something easy to fix?
