Any time I fly around Paris my FPS tanks big time (to 2 or 3 FPS). I notice when i turn the ATC to 0% my FPS climbs, the problem is this is the only area where my FPS drops like this. I can fly anywhere else in the world and my FPS does not vary that much. Is this a problem with just Paris?

Has anyone been able to use Oleksiy Frolov's Dash 8 panel? I can start it up pretty well, using the documentation, yet when it comes time to advance the condition levers, using ctrl-F1 as it says in the manual, the condition levers do nothing. I've even made sure that that command is not already in use by FS2K2. The panel looks great (a little small on the lettering), and the system modeling is fantastic, but I've never been able to do anything other than start it up. On more than one occassion it freezes on me, don't think it's the panel, I think it's something to do with my sound card, so between the freezing and the condition levers that won't move, i've yet to fly…

Is it just me or has FSMeteo been having trouble connecting to the server. If I get lucky and do connect then I get an error or it says over 400 character can not write file. I only heard of one other report of this. Anyone else?Good thing I have ActiveSky for backup. It may become my promary weather program if this keeps happening.

Simmers,Running win me, 512 dd,r gf4 ti4200, athlon 1.4, asus m/b and S/B Live Now i like to run Proflight and the PSS A/Bus but i have noticed the V/C cockpit keeps flashing white when changing to it and the outside A/C textures are all gray for about two three seconds plus when changing veiw my sound stutttttters badly. Any ideas tried all setting in FS and AGP on/off.Asked PSS but they inform me that the flashing white problem is the reflection and shadows made by FS and you cannot do anything about it, is there a file i can edit them out?Thanks RB211

Hi everyone,Does anyone have a good set of mesh terrain scenery to recommend? I know there are tons of them in the library but I would like to look for those that doesn't have any impact on framerates. I've got a slower computer than most of you, so frames are really important to me to maintain that I'm flying and not stuggering around. By the way, if I add those, does it affect airport scenery? Got this pack a minute ago, but can't fly, there are some typical 3rd party software error messages when selecting the aircraft regarding A320.gau, ERJ.gau and LearRDB.gau - tried to add these to OLDMODULES in the fs2002.cfg but didn't work. Hi Simmers,New aircraft arrived on the scene today, a very nice WWII Lysander. Great graghics, and a nice flyer. Now, I have tried to change the sound package with no luck, it won't even alias. The sound seems to be monoral and garbled. Could the problem be that this is a FS98 aircraft? Any help would be appreciated, as I would like to keep this one.Regards,Bob I

Hey Gang!Last year, I installed an update that was made available here at AVSIM to the default airport building textures which made the buildings at airports be of a higher resolution. I have a wicked feeling that the higher resolution is causing my frames to go down quite a bit on airports like KMIA and KORD. It only occur sometime but I notice it always happen while I try to takeoff in HKG or in MEL.
