Has anyone yet designed an aircraft in 3ds max? If so, what are the advantages over gmax? Is it really any better of a program if I was going to use it strictly for FS a/c design? I heard that Yeodesigns did their 732 on 3ds max. Thanks!

Hi all;I just installed Chris' new Sky World SE. I have never used this before and am wondering if there is a FAQ or instructions on how to make it work properly. I can get it to work, but would like to know how to save and start flights, from the "My Flights" area and have them active. Does anyone know of a FAQ, or give me a quick overview of this program?BTW, the clouds look great. :)Thanks.

Center the yoke and it'll spin all the way to the ground. :-hah Great work guys! I have a new favorite airplane. Now, let the re-paints begin. ;-) Anybody worried about the right hand seat position being a problem; don't; it takes about five minutes to get used to.The only problem I have had so far is om viewing the instant replay of your takeoff, the gear only comes half way down and the engine stops. When I go back to normal operation, a couple of times I couldn't get it to restart. Good practice for those emergency landings. :-h…

Is anybody getting the High Level clouds while using the "Random" settting and FS Meteo? I have not been able to get them to show yet.

I think I am misunderstanding something here about the Auto Installer w/ FS Sky World SE. My understanding is that you set the timer and FS Sky World will randomize the textures at periodic intervals.This doesn't appear to be what's happening. I set the Auto Install timer to 5 minutes, and choose Install and Run FS. Five minutes come and go, nothing happens...I go back out to the desktop and find FS Sky World has reset Auto Install to OFF. I set the timer again - this time for 1 min - nothing happens after the elapsed period. What exactly should be happening here?FSUIPC version is 2.92, using FSMeteo 5.2 (over WideClient)I can manually install cloud textures using the FS …

Hey, When I load any addon plane it loads the cessna panel eith no gauges and cessna sound. it only started this recentaly and i checked the panel configs and they point to the 747 or 777 panel but it wont load.Any help is appreciated.thanks

We simmers want everything. MS obliged by including over 20,000 airports in FS2k2, but how many airports does the average simmer visit (a take off or landing)? A few month ago I started a list of the airports I have visited in my FS career, but I only include those I specifically remember. Anybody knows what kind of de-icing system are used in jet-fighters? Or to put it in another, "appropriate", form: is there a model for 2k2 or CFS that reproduces the said de-icing systems. I can't remember a model that had one (jane etc.), unless I overlooked it.

Apparently you have to get AI bridge to get the tcas to work online with this 145. Where do you get it? and if you say here on avsim it won't help me cause i've yet to find anything by using the search button. Me and the search thing don't get along at all. thanks --louis

Hi all,I was just checking out some 727 cockpit photos on airliners.net (getting all psyched up for the Captain Sim and DF releases), and I noticed that even in relatively recent photos of UA cockpits, there's no FMC or other RNAV retrofit visible...or at least none that I can pick up. Did UA really have their '27 drivers navigating by hand up until the bitter end? What was the deal? (it would have been really cool if it that were true :-) ):-outta

Hey Guy's! I just wnated to know what or if i have the correct settings in my FSUIPC For clouds! So I have the correct cloud types and thickness to show up in FS! I am running the newest version of FS METEO, so i want to have some input form you great people out here on what settings i should have set in the FSUIPC cloud section! I apprecite the input guy's! Hi all, I'm having a problem with takeoffs and landings, my planes always want to go to the left, specially when I'm on the ground. I have autorudder selected and I'm using the "Sidewinder" joystick, anyone knows what's wrong?:-outta

I haven't seen a post on this yet so I feel rather stupid. I can't get any changes to occur with V-Sky. Would someone be so kind to post step by step instructions please? I have read all of the docs I can find, but see no changes in the sky color.Also the install button is always greyed out on the control panel, all other buttons seem OK.Thanks,Ken

Fired up FS this afternoon and tried to download some real weather when this crazy messge popped up. I am at a loss on how this happened and more importantly how to fix it. I appreciate any imput.
