Hi all;I just downloaded the demo of Lagos' FSSound program. I can load sounds just fine and have them work at the airport, until I open the window to bring the FSW clouds into the sim. The sound goes away at that point, and won't start back up. Has anybody else had any experience using these two programs together?The funny thing is that I have the Emma field addon which also has ambient sounds, and they will play with and without FSW clouds.Thanks.

I don't own CFS3 yet and may or may not. What I would like to know from those that have it now, are we able to import FS2002 in CFS3 the way we could import FS2000 into CFS2?If that is possible, I will probably get it, if not, I may get it sometime, but I am not really into combat sims. Thanks for any and all response.

I have this plane that was made for FS2000. I have taken the textures and combined with Espen panel and the aircraft config file he recommends for his panel. The nav light are displaced. I assume I can correct this in contact points as with the landing gear transiting into ground.Were to I configure the lights.Regard

Hello,I have 2 computers here, 4 monitors.I tried to run project magenta but I had problems with 2 open-gl screens in the same computer (win XP, I got opengl acceleration in only 1 screen)Also I tried to use WideView to run differents aircraft panels in the second computer, it worked, but there was a delay and offset in the panel update, one time I was in 4500ft and my other computer was showing 5600ft.I think I can run many panels in the main FS computer, but what do you think it's better:Magenta or multiple panels ? (a small home setup, no cockpit enviroment)Anyway to get open-gl acceleration in 2 video boards running in the same computer ?Thanks,Ulisses Simionato

I've been able to get the panel working and the load edit. The FMC seems to work fine with the exception of the Auto Throttle, I can't seem to get the autopilot to keep either the FMC or the MCP selected speed? Any ideas? Do I have to change something in the Aircraft config to make it work? Thanks!!

Rumors are that CFS3 will automatically install some sort of DirectX update that's being referred to as DX8.2. Can anyone who has installed CFS3 confirm this? I'm asking because, if it's true that DirectX is updated, and since the DX update probably can't be uninstalled, I'm not sure I want to load CFS3 until I know for sure what's going on.Trip

Chris,Don't know what happened with my previous thread, seems all the replies have been deleted !Anyhow I did what you told me to do and downloaded the FPS friendly .exe. Much to my regret, the FPS remain locked at 1 FPS ! I have a P4 2Mhz with 768 MBRAM ! Out of my stupidity, I bought a 512mb memory stick for my computer... just did i remember that there are certain limits on how much memory you can add on to older model. I have a P3 733mhz 128mb memory, are there any technicians or people with similar specs that can give me an idea if i'm right about this limit thing. It's me again :) As I said I managed to get some AI Traffic to show after installing 15 Project AI auto installer packages (great work guys!)...Now I've attempted installing airport overlays with AFCAD. Unfortunately, no extra aircraft seem to be appearing. All I've done is to download the overlays, import them into AFCAD, and click on the save button. Then, loading up FS2002, I see no change from before for the particular airport, just the same number of aircraft in their same positions.What am I doing wrong? I would appreciate any help. I know it's not realistic, but has anyone matched up the great ERJ panel from Bill Grabowski with POSKY's CRJ? How far off would it be, I know the CRJ is quite a bit smaller than the ERJ, but right now I don't think there are any ERJ's out there that look as good (model-wise) as the CRJ. I have always been unhappy with the seat height adjustment in FS2002 -- it is too coarse and does not allow for fine adjustment . It hasn't really mattered until now -- but I have installed the AFG heads-up display and ,for this to work properly, you have to adjust the heads-up horizon to co-incide with the real horizon -- without a finer adjustment of the seat height , this is impossible.Any ideas??Thanks Barry
