Anyone know of any GPS unit available or arriving with GPS waypoints included with the unit? I thought this new Garmin 530/430 would, but upon reading their website it looks like you could add them yourself, but Im not paying for it if I have to add them. Couldnt a unit be produced that used a database from Bendix King or something similar? Id really REALLY like to have a KLN94 GPS with all of the waypoints included for the US. Maybe just dreaming, I guess....Craig

I just got my new computer with a Radeon 9700 and while looking through posts about getting rid of blurries, many people said that adjusting the LOD to -0.0 would help a lot. hi all,after I edit the meljet aircraft.cfg so that it works with pss 747 panel, I can't open the nose/cargo doors anymore.... When I hit shift-e-2 the main door goes open/close :-8 I didn't edit/removed the [number of exits] part in the aircraft.cfgDoes anybody know what the prob is?Thanks.

Just curious what the rest of you think about Aerosoft's Eurowings product ...?I love German Airports (GAP 1, 2 and 3) from the same designers but what went wrong with Eurowings - for me it is a HUGE disappointment!What do you think?:-(TJ

Hi Chris,Thanks for creating the FSW packages. I have all of your original releases and really like them. I have downloaded but haven't yet installed the SE version.In this latest verion - the SE - I didn't see any mention of adding the moon set, sun set, and halo set that I've used with the previous version in any of the documentation.Can a person use these textures with the new version, and how would I go about adding them?Regards,ScottKJMS

I have just finished installing FS2002 onto my new system. Everything seems to work fine with the exception of the ATC voices seem garbled and almost like they are in an echo chamber.They seem as though they have static associated with them also. The rest of the sounds seem normal as do the voices that come with the Dreamfleet 737. In the settings, I have the sound quality set to "high" and I have reinstalled a couple of times to see if that would help, but with no luck.Would anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this problem as it ran fine on the old system.Thanks for any help.Roger Hollands

I have read all? the recent posts on this, but I still do not understand the necessary directory structure.I cannot get rid of the Subscript 9 start up error.I have FS2k2 installed in the default x:/program files/microsoft games/fs2002.FSSW seems to have put all its files into a subdirectory within the main FS texture directory - I presume this is correct.Chris Willis seems to be saying that FSSW will only work if FS2K2 is installed as x:FS2002.Can anyone (Chris?) give a definitive answer on this?From those who have got it working, it seems to be 10/10 product, but I can't really face having to reinstall FS.David

In anticipation of Wilco's active 3d panels, I'm curious as to whether other developers have something similar planned in the near future. Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated. 3d active panels and incredible programs like Active Camera will surely make me need an 'active' 3d doggy bag aboard a single engine. If avgas weighs 6 lbs. per gallon, why is FS saying 100 gallons weighs 603 lbs.?

I'm running FS2002 on a laptop computer with the GeForce 4 440 Go video card. I've tried all that I can to be able to see the animated waves and reflective water textures, but still a no go. I was told that the GeForce 2 Go card displays these effects. Shouldn't the same go for the GeForce 4 which is a newer card? I believe my card is based on the GeForce 4 MX brand of cards for desktop computers. Has there been a fix or workaround for these types of cards so that they will be able to display the water effects?Thank you,Michael W.

I mentioned one of the things I didn't care for about the Seneca relative to the C421 was the inability to zoom in on the primary instruments for IFR flight. Someone from FSD correctly pointed out that there is a zoomed in panel (then the thread degenerated into name calling from there). What I meant was the ability to click on certain instrument clusters and zoom specifically on them. Why? Because I undock the panels and move them to my other monitors. That's not possible with the zoomed panel in the Seneca. Bear in mind, my needs are not necessarily representative of most users.David

Hello,I installed some sceneries recently and strangely some VOR and NDB dissapeared in different areas. I could see it in FSNAV (after updating the database). I deactivated the sceneries but the VOR did not come back.Anyone having experience this ?Otherwise do you know how I can reinstall those VOR and NDB without reinstalling the whole FS ?Any help would be appreciatedSimicro

I did a quick search and didn't come up with anything in regard to the question I have, so I'll post my question here where I know it'll get answered. I've recently started using overlays.
