I'm running FS Skyworld in Auto Random along with FS Meteo version 5.2 - I select a randomize time, start FS2002 from FS Skyworld and then start FS Meteo. Everything is ok for a time and then I stop hearing the FS Skyworld "sound" that indicates it has stopped randomizing cloud textures. When I alt-tab back to the FS Skyworld main screen, I find a message at the bottom like: "Layer 1 cloud cover 2/8, layer 2 cloud cover 4/8 30/230 sec". The randomize cloud time has also changed, usually to 4 mins. The cloud coverage numbers change at about the lower of the two times on the end of the message. Cloud texture changes stop altogether.Any help with what is going on here will …

Hello,After installing FSWse today, stunning by the way, my spot plane view is acting up. Before, I would get a nice smooth camera view, but now it doesnt swing around like before, its like its stuck, it will move but not like before. I also have Active Camera installed, Please let me know how to make these wonderful addons work smoothly.thanks guys,odog

thank you for reading this, I am in the process of updating all Icelandis non FS2002 planes into a 2002 format. I have problems with this F-27. I have used Espen .air, aircraft.cfg and panel files for it but the icelandic textures. The plane works apart from this problem, it sinks into the ground, even then I can taxi it.Who know how to solve this ?Regard

Which is the better OS for FS2002, Win 98 or XPpro?I've been using 98 and everything is running quite stable, but am upgrading and was thinking of installing XPpro.I fly online a lot and run Roger Wilco, squawkbox and active sky. This all runs well with 98, will it run as or more stable with XPpro? Any opinions?Thanks,Louis CYYC

Is it just a coincidence that the Seneca V was released the same time as the Nov. 2002 issue of AOPA Pilot magazine, which features a review of the real Seneca V? I wasn't planning on getting the Seneca V, because I have the C421, but after reading that article I might just have to. :D

To all the PSS A320 owners out there... I was wondering can someone look in their 'aircraft.cfg' file and tell me what their 'wing_incidence= ' setting is??? I changed mine because the plane flys with a slight nose down attitude at 31000ft at .77mach. I change the setting to '-0.500' which corrected the problem but found that the plane could hardly reach 31000ft after the change. So now I have to change it back to it's original setting. I think it was set at '1.500' but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Les--

Hi All,Last week I installed MYTraffic.( It took two minutes to install ) Since that day my flight simming has been great with all the AI and ATC controlling to taxiways as well as the busy skys. In other words I have traffic EVERYWHERE on the ground and in the skies taking-off and landing. Please do not get me wrong I did have AI before MYTraffic was installed, but now it is WOW! with AI. I gather that PSS will not be able to meet the 4 week release time they suggested back on Sept. 28th(though it was not official) for the release of the Dash 8 as manuals have not shown up pre-relase for us to become familiar with the many features.To a degree I can understand delays however I dont like to be teased with AWESOME screenshots and a expected date of any sort...FSD does a great job with their new releases..they dont make dates or show many nice screens they just release it when it is done.Am I wrong????http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/Us...9d503cc53ab.jpg

I think on the next flight sim I'm gonna start a log of everything that I add when I add and key notes about that added. This would include websites, passwords, where I placed the old file and other changes. This way if I ever need to reinstall or just want to remember how I did something I will have the refernce guide there. Since I use my computer mostly for flight sim stuff anyway it will be kinda like a logbook for the computer. Just thinking out loud.Kilstorm

Ive never flown a good payware plane b4..I got this credit card now and I wana spend Spend..So I need some good links for planes to download..The one I know I want is the twin engine cessna.. 421 i think it was.. its a littl eold so i forgot..but i rely on you gus to tell me whats good..I like small planes general avitation, and some millitary aircraft

Hi,I see there are a number of posts on the subject of frame rates and graphics cards. It was interesting to read that a more powerful graphics card will not always increase the frame rate. Strange? I was also interested to read a number of the replies from people who spoke about their systems and what frame rates they get. I have also posted questions on this topic and read with interest the replies - as they seemed to vary so much. My own PC is new - XP2000 Athlon equates I think to a P1.7, I ahve the max ram 512 and the Ge4200 from Nvdia. If you are considering this plane, skip it! The Flight One 421 is 100 times better! This new Seneca is a joke! I'm sorry I payed for it. I knew it wasn't up to the performance standards considering it's genre, but it just will not fly properly. The visual model is severly lacking as well.SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Im very disappointed with the VC. It is IMO a step backwardsfrom previously released payware. Some of the instruments and displays are crooked and misaligned. The dash graphic absolutely sucks. Some instruments do have clarity but other avionics are cleary blurred and sub-standard. I know that the VC is a very difficult task but as seen from previous payware, a high quality VC can be accomplished. By the way the rest of the AC is top-notch. I just wont fly it without a quality VC. RegardsBobG

I'm thinking about buying FS Flightmax...I downloaded the demo version when it was first released, and it bought my system to its knees.Since then I've upgraded to a new system - XP1800, 512MB RAM, GF3 Ti500 - How well will Flightmax run on my new system? How much of a framerate hit are Flightmax users seeing?I've also been using FSMeteo for almost 2 years now, and if I get Flightmax I'll upgrade to FSMeteo 5.2. How well does the weather radar work with FSMeteo?Cheers.
