Has anyone successfully used Airport 2000 Vol II with FS2K2? I managed to install it but the runway textures are not visible. All the airports have light gray runways with no markings. If you are using Airport 2000 Vol II with FS2K2 I would apreciate any advice that you can offer. Thanks,Keith

Does anyone remember a 757 package that used the 767 PIC panel that was around over the summer. I am trying to find it but I can't seem to. I remember it being a Continental livery but I don't see the correct version in the library. The plane was set up to use the PIC panel and it was a really good plane. Thanks,

Hey Guys, for whatever reason my city of Juneau is gone! I don't have any landclass installed other than the beta from FSGenisis and I have since removed it to try and find my city! I was working on a small scenery right on the edge of town and haven't been to it in a few weeks, now, it is the only thing there....except for trees. Any ideas, I have the default world textures, so the AGN files are still there, the only thing I can think of is one of the BGLs in the scenery folder. Help would be appreciated!Regards, Michael

My PC has 512 MB RDRAM and is a P4 2.53Ghz. I observe in the Windows XP Task Manager the following:Total RAM available: 523276KAvailable: 340788KSystem Cache: 312880The above data surprises me. Look how much RAM is already in use before even opening FS2002 and this is with the PC standing still at the desktop. It seems to use a lot of RAM doing nothing at all.Other data:Commit Charge: 150650KLimit: 1280416KPeak: 439452Kernel Memory Total: 48230Paged: 27724Nonpaged: 20524Is it worth getting another stick of 256RDRAM?Appreciate advice, thanks!JS

I got a question for anyone that is familiar with the project AI stuff. I just used the new installer to install all of the new version installers. I then ran each of the old installers and I also used the new installer to remove the default general and commercial traffic. When I went to my local airport it was dead. I have a panel that has a TCAS and there was nothing on it either. This struck me as being very odd and I checked out my flightplans to find I only have 2735 flight plans. Surely this is not right is it? I thought that there was a whole load more, or is the difference the complete removal of the default traffic? Does anyone else out there have a flightplans.t…

Enhancing the Amount of Traffic?I installed the Project AI files etc a few months back when we were testingRC. I noticed that I don't have too much traffic when I arrive at KMDW.How do I increase the traffic? I think the PAI files I have may havelimited schedules. hi everybody, I was wondering what are people's impressions of the cs727. I have been waiting for a while to see what the general thoughts of the plane are after a couple of weeks since its release. Is it worth the price? I love flying flight1's Ironknuckles DC-9 and was wondering if its system's are modeled fairly well to. Thanks for the pre-release manual Jim. Any approximate time on when we can expect to see the F1-Meridian?I understand that the GPS and Nav functions will be slaved to the Garmin. I like this Chinook..they always amazed me..and this one looks great has sounds and panels. It would be a lot of fun with FF stick and pedals. This is what I want to do but am having probs with the install...which is pretty easy.This is the situation , I always get "Visual model could not be displayed" and "Aircraft INI. failed" I tried every which way of uzipping,copying, pasting,dragging, double checking, rebooting.All files are in the folders as instructed?Anyone have this fine helicopter installed and working properly. Hi,since a few years I,m happily flying FS 98. No problems at all. All aircraft, sceneries, addons and untilities just worked fine. Until today. Once of a sudden JFK and Miami Intl. airports and runways disappeared. All sceneries or 3rd pty addons like hangars and static planes remained unchanged. I know there are tons of "Big Iron" Virtual Airlines and also another ton of "Bush" VAs, but are there any really good general aviation VAs out there? There have been a lot of great GA aircraft made lately (both payware and freeware) and I would love to find some nice VAs that take advantage of them. Thanks for any help.Jeff

Hi I wanted to buy the Jeppesen CD charts today. Now let me get this right. The German website from whih I wanted to order sell either 1 region, or a 3 region pack. However I cannot indicate what region I wanna buy. I finally assume that all regions are on one CD but you can unlock either 1 or 3 regions.Is that right, cuz I do not wanna end up with the wrong region.If above is the case, is there a chance to pay for and unlock another region when you decide to, or can you unlock one region only on your computer then?Thx,Alex

hi, I was wondering if it was possible to use the PSS panel and sounds along with the project airbus model? However, I would still like to use the PSS flight dynamics. Over at the project airbus website it explains how you can merge the too but using their flight dynamics. The reason I want to merge the two is because with the default PSS A320 model and VC I get constant "your system has run out of available memory flight simulator will now exit" memory errors under Windows ME. thanks, Andrew

Hi i have downloaded some flight plans for the 767 PIC now how do i open up the rte or plan in the FMC? it has FMC now what's the next step i have to put in? it's harder with this then the PSS B777 and B747 FMCplease help me with this problem

I have been using OPERA lately. It has a lot of features which I like and I find it to be much faster than IE6. The biggest problem with IE6 is the way that the cache doesn't always work as it should. With OPERA , when you click the "Back" button to go back to a page that you have previously been to, it goes there instantaneously. IE6 frequently redownloads previously visited pages.Anyway - to the question. When downloading with OPERA, a download page pops up . This download page works just like an addon Download Manager programme. It allows you to recommence the download if you get dropped off during a download. I flew the Dakota at night from my home airport (KITH) last night and was surprised to see all the rwy lights blink on and off irregularly. They are fine in 2D cockpit views or external views. I switched planes and they were fine. I tried a few other airports and they were fine too. Why would this happen?David

Right now I am using the SimFlyers World Airports as scenery and while it looks more accurate in terms of building layout, it does not look as realistic as what is included in the some of the default sceneries. The ATL airport, for example, looks like old FS98/2000 scenery and does not shimmer like the default ATL scenery. Again, however, more building and aircraft are included and it seems to be laid out accurately. In addition, much of the scenery does not show until you are right at it. When approaching airports in SimFlyers Airports scenery, it looks like you arelanding in a field until you are well on final and only then do buildings pop up one by one. And, the…

I have an interesting problem with the hardware. I recently reinstalled the software drivers for the stick and in the past I would just stop the profile activator from loading as windows starts from the system configuation utility/startup after starting it from MSconfig. Well now after restart the item starts anyway. Do any of you good people know of another way to stop the driver from loading other than MSconfig. If indeed regedit is a way please let me know what the Hkey is because I just can not find it.

Hi guys Just a quick question. After all my upgrades etc. I think I've got the right drivers and everything seems peachy...Except...With the frame rate slider set to unlimited I seem to get less fps in full screen mode than I do in a windowed mode...Is this right? Does Fs2002 run any better on an Intel pentium 4 versus an AMD athlon XP.I mean, suppose you take an 2Ghz intel and AMd processor and put them side by side. Does fs2002 tend to perform any better on one or the other?

I made my solo flight today aboard a Warrior II N9118S at Mansfield, Massachusetts Airport! Myself with my son and my instructor took off from Norwood airport and headed to Mansfield. I did 2 rehearsal landings and then my CFI Signed off my Student Pilot Certificate! there was only one little problem, his pen ran out of ink! Luckily my son had a pen with him! Phew! I am currently over Rio Bay in the default Cessna at 3500' and having a ball. I am using FSMeteo and FSNavigator. No other add-ons. It's just like real life out there. And this is a lot of fun and it works--and it's SIMPLE!Amidst the never-ending excitement and madness of dozens of new add-ons and downloading with endless configuring and performance headaches, it's great (and important, I think) to remember that simming should be fun. I do love my fleet of add-on everything, but it is great to get up and just FLY with no hassle and no adjustments to anything.I need to do this more often. Thought I'd share this with others.Cheers!JS
