Does adding a button to a panel disable the virtual cockpit?Dean

Hello,I am using the freeware program FSACARS to do flight reports to send to my VA. My question is that when you load the fuel in the initial setup screen, how do you do it in LBS? I have the config menu set to LBS and it shows LBS in FS, but when I go to the input boxes and it shows the capacity it's all in KGS. Is this unchangable or am I missing something obvious?Thanks in advance for any help!Marc

Hi everyone. I am a long time user of flightsim, and avid enthusiast. one thing I have never been able to do is assign "AI" aircraft to operate flights within flightsim. I have downloaded a couple of aircraft from flightsim, and apparently need to assign flights to these aircraft. Does anyone know where I can find information on this process, or is anyone able to help me out. Thanks in advance.

Hi,Is it possible to install FS2002 but onto another drive? So I have a dirty version with lots of addons on C drive say and a clean version with say one addon on my other hard drive? Is this possible, will Flightsim fun any faster and is there anychance of it going wrong?Many Thanks,

Hi, Can someone say if there is a tutorial on how to enter the cockpit with everything shut down? Flight simulator always start with engines ready to go. I normally use the 737-400. Reason why I ask is because of Lago FsAssist 2002. You need all engines shut down to use this and I search simulator manual but don't see info. on this. Thanks for any response, S.

Hi allI know this isn't exactly the forum to post this question, but i think it attracts more attention that the Hanger Chat one.I'm working with Gary Summons of UK2000 to create VERY complex scenery (which won't effect fps) for London Gatwick; to be released for FS2004, and i'm after some real pictures of the airport.If anyone has any available or even has links to a few site containing some, it would be much appreciated. Pilots, does anybody know what part of thE Airfile i have to adjust and to what setting to take the kink out of the Meljett 777 where the Wings fold. I never use the folding function and the kink gives the appearance of the wings bending to far up on this fine aircraft.Any help welcomeRB211

I have the lates editvoice. I get all the auto updates when I start it. I've discovered that pilot 2 for eagle flight says go flight. I'm not sure how to fix it. In the mean time I made a custom eagle flight & left out pilot 2. I don't no if anyone else has noticed this.John

Hi,I have a problem with FS2002 weather, I would load up flightsim and set the weather to clear and calm and begin flying and about 10 mins later clouds will appear and the wind will begin to blow no matter where I'm flying or what time of day it is. Why is this?P.S I have never used internet weather in FS before, I have only noticed this problem in the past couple of weeks.NO IDEA WHY/WHATThanks

Hi!I found some new contrails in the library and couldn't resist to download them. As normal I made a backup first but after everything seemed to work fine and the new ones look really cool "the devil came over me" (sorry don't know if you an say this in english, it's a german world play) and I deleted the backup.After I did my first real test flight I recognized a very heavy hit on the frames and as good as they may look they need to go.Now to my question, could anyone send me the original contrails or tell me where to find on the CD as I really don't want to reinstall the whole thing only for those da.. contrails.Thanks for your help,Toby

last night, i was doing an ifr flight from kjfk to knor w/ fl at 290. i had about 6 waypoints, one being reagan national. i was at flight level, and got to my reagan waypoint and the plane (default 747) turned and then leveled. after about a minute, the air speed dropped to 0 and the plane started falling from the sky. i tried my best to save it, but i had no chance, it just fell straight to the ground, like a wing had come off or something. i didn't have any failures on, so i have no idea what caused this. a bug?

I just downloaded and installed the latest and greatest DHC-2 version 2 by Steve Grant and for some strange reason I can't get the beaver to move on the water even at full throttle! Takeoff from land works great! I tried one of my other floatplanes and there were no problems. I must be doing something wrong. Anybody have suggestions?Thanks!Airbus

I recently got a nice repaint of of the Cessna 182S which is dark Blue in the area of the fusulage registration number. The default black doesn't look that great on it. Is there a way to change the color and / or the font of this number (.cfg entry?)Dennis Mitchell

You know, I have been following this for sometime and was excited to see the prerelease for the manuals. However, I expected that the manuals would be more complete in dealing with the avionics. Instead it is suggested that you read the actual manufactuers literature for guidance. Which I have done.Now, I am sure that this product will be groundbreaking, I for one will purchase it, assuming I can run it at plus15 FPS on my AMD 2100. But, lets be reasonable, there is no way that a FS2k2 addon will provide ALL the functionality that the real complete Meridian avionics package offers. If it did, the sim would run at 1FPS and the cost would be about $3,000US.So the quest…

I think I was the first here to give a quick review of Strike Fighters the day it was released (yeah, I know this is an MS forum!). My first impression was pure awe. Then, as is often the case, some FS addon came out and I abandoned the game. Well, the new patch made me fire it up again and now I think I have given it a pretty fair shake. Impressions?- really really hard! The planes are very difficult for me to spot visually (probably realistic!). I use TrackIR which works quite well (although the sensitivity is up all the way and it still isn't enough) but the only way to reliably pick up a bogey is to cheat with padlock IMO.- The radar is kind of cool but I have no idea…

Hi,Can somebody help me with ILS approaches?I have flown a IFR flight into Liverpool Airport EGGP in a 747 following the ATC to maintain an altitude of 2100 and a hdg of 120 for rnwy 090 until i intercept the localizer.I find the localizer and the marker is displayed and can be flown too but i never seem to get the marker for the glideslope if i set it to APR mode it lines up but maintains 2100 ft.Im probably missing something very obvious.Thanks for your HelpMark

I've noticed the past few days there's been some posts showing some upcoming Bizjets--the Premier and the 400A. They look awesome, and since the posts were made in the screenshots and A/C design forum, vs. the commercial forum, I believe many have assumed they will be freeware. After a visit to Flight1's forums, I noticed a blurb that Eaglesoft will be published by Flight1. What is the largest latitude limit allowable in FS? I recall reading that getting too close to 90 north or south (ie. the poles) produces problems with the FS world.Thanks,Bruce.
