It seems I lost the "VFR Panel" on all aircraft. When I hit "W" I go from the full panel to a screen with no panel instead of the "VFR" panel. Any ideas on how to correct this? Thanks.Jim Golden, GySgt, USMC (Ret.)

Has anyone else had trouble getting files from these guys? I paid for a GMAX737-300 and could not download it. I tried the site and from my email and it simply will not work. I get a "page cannot be displayed" error. It will not download with Gozilla or default Windows download. I've sent them several emails. They responded to one saying that they would send it by email if I sent them my receipt details. I did so, and have sent 3-4 emails to them asking them where the file is.They have not responded in over a week.Any advice?Thanks, Adam

Well, after seeing the posts on PC performance and Enditall among others, I finally installed Enditall 2.0 on my Windows XP Home Ed PC. It did nothing to improve performance. It left a lot of applications open because Windows says it needs them to function normally. So I uninstalled it. Enditall doesn't seem to do anything for XP compared with Windows 98 where it increases my available resources at bootup from 75% - 77% to 89% - 91%.So I just ordered another 512 MB or Rambus RAM instead !JS

Hi Guys, just wanted to know something...I find the amount of traffic which is already by default in fs2002 sufficient seeing the fact that project AI aircraft EAT my framerates like crazy...But the models of the default fs2002 aircraft are disappointing...so i want to replace the models with other models.the default 737 to the ai aardvark 737 and the default md90 into a 757-300 of fspainter ... but the question is how do i do that? Off course i want to keep the AI traffic plans and so on as it is but only change the models ... See ya

I presently use FSMeteo version 5.1, and have been thinking about upgrading to either 5.2 or a new program altogether. I have been looking at Active Sky and weather center.I posted a similar post in the RC forum and only got a few responses(not to mention chastised for spelling whether instead of weather, but hey no biggy, I use the former spelling more than the later in everyday life).What are users thoughts on the Active Sky and Weather center programsThanks for any feedback on this.Scott....

I had installed My Traffic with AI set to about 90% noticed that I took a huge hit on frame rates. I purchased MY Traffic editor and would like some advise on what planes, etc I can eliminate so my frame rates will be reasonable. And what I other options I may have.I set my AI traffic to 50% and it helped, but now the traffic is too sparce.What does everyone typically the set AI traffic slider at using MY Traffic?I have a Pentium 4 2.5 GHZ, 768 MB Ram, GEForce 4 ti 4200 w/128 MBAny help would be appreciated.Barry

HelloI am having a strange and very annoying problem with FS2002.Many times while playing, the Direct X diagnostic tool window pops up for no apparent reason. When, after it finishes loading, I close it down, FS2002 crashes.This happens so often these days that FS is starting to became nearly unusable.Irronically, the Dx window says that no Dx problem was detected.I am totally puzzled with this. I'm trying to recreate a 1947 DC3 flight on FS2002. The flight is placed in Africa and for what I found the sextant was used. Does anybody knows how to use a sextant in an aircraft, specially during the day when you only have the sun. I found some material about ships but there the ground speed is known.ThanksJos

is it worth to overclock the vid card?I have a Gforce 2 64MB card and i noticed that some utilities (say Riva tuner) offer a possibility to verclock the card.did anyone try to do it, or is it much risk for little gain?cheers ,HA5

I've always run trilinear filtering, and now I've added anastropic. Even at the low 2x setting, distant textures are much improved. But I wonder - are they in fact compatible, or is it a question of either / or?

OK, I did this once, but now can't remember how to set my start up position. I remember taxing into position, seting up my panel settings, then saving this information by a series of key strokes. The next time I started the sim, I was at that point. Problem is I can't remember the key strokes to save the parameters.Thanksjim

Can anyone kindly tell me in babytalk EXACTLY how to start and run FSSkyworks SE to have single cloud and multiple cloud layering effects. No doubt the graphics are great, but please don't refer me to their published instructions because they are incomprehensible to me. Also, what settings is FS2k2 weather supposed to be set to in order for FS Skyworks SE clouds to load and run? I am really looking forward to using the program, but the instructions they provide are confusing. Help!Im on FS2K2 and Windows 2000 OS if its relevant.Thanks!
