I just ordered the new "Ready For Pushback" 747. It doesn't appear to come with a manual or extensive Help file. It's a pretty complicated machine to fly without one. Am I just not looking in the correct place? I sent RFP an e-mail regarding the issue but haven't heard from them yet.Chuck

Good People , I once saw a file that would improve the flight handling of some of the default FS 2002 aircraft as well as make some of the AI aircraft flyable within FS 2002. Can someone point the way, please.

Hello,I am the author of FS 2002 Flight Assistant, a virtual co-pilot for nearly every flight simulation, but especially for MS Flight Simulator 98/2000/2002. The program provides speech command recognition, i.e. that you just give a command via your microphone and your PC will reply and send the appropriate key strokes. For example, you might say "gear up" and FS 2002 FA will retract your gear. Of course, you might also add new commands. Now my request: I am currently working on FS 2002 FA version 2.0 which will supersede version 1.3.13. As there are many new functions, a new GUI and some other new stuff, I'll need your help to test the program. If you are interested in t…

How nice would it be it the differences between the 2 versions would be not extra planes and scenery but instead for advanced and general users. Some of the big differences would be more switches in the planes, atc and pilots to use less politically correct communications, and night textures to be more real when looking at fields (currently airfields are brighter than the street and city lights which are not all that realistic). I was flying from BWI to MCO on a Southwest flight yesterday night and was thinking how 2002 is a great VFR small single engine sim. Hopefully the next version would be more a sim for both small and big planes with smarter ATC and the ablitiy t…

Just wondering what people think of it. Looks great from the outside but their site shows no cockpit views. http://www.flightfactory-simulations.com/ Thanks.

Tonight I went to the "AI Schedules" section of Project AI's web aite to download more AI planes. Now earlier I downloaded US Airways and Jetblue. But tonight when I went to try and download some more of them, some were missing (like Spirit Airlines and Southwest Airlines) and the ones that were there were less than 10KB large (even the big airlines like Air France) and took like 10 seconds to download (Im using dial-up, not a cable modem) and NONE of them had a auto-installer in the download any more, just some txt files. Is anyone else having similar expirence with this tonight?

I know this path has been tracked on before, but it has been a while and I can't find anything relating to it, maybe some of you that had this problem can help me out.I am running an AMD 1.333 Mhz. 516 meg. of RAM, SoundBlaster Live, Windows Me; and here's the problem, when using Microsoft Force Feedback 2 Joystick (USB) everything is ok, but this is not the right tool for FS2002, I did have CH Virtual Pilot Pro (Serial Port) hooked up to Rudder pedals some time ago (before getting the joystick), and I did have a very hard time to get the computer to recognize it, but after some trials and tribulations it did work. I am tired of the senseless feel of the Joystick and no …

After receiving a link from Dan regarding ESSENTIAL OILS and by a company producing them that I made mention of in a post, I think it prudent to delete my post.My post was written from an 'how can I help?' stance based upon good intentions, but with no knowledge of sites that contest so aggresively, claims made and published verbally and in print by Young Essential Oils. As a result of being apprised of that page by Dan, I request that you delete this post. That is the wise and prudent thing to do. Thank you!Mitch R.

Hi everyone,I'd like to know if the Wilco's famous add-ons, Wilco Airport 2000 vol.1, vol.2 and vol.3 are compatible with FS2002.I know that there is a patch for Wilco Airport 2000 vol.3 but I've never heard of it about the two first add-ons.What are the bugs in FS2002 with the Wilco Airport 2000 series ?Thank you for your answer, ;-)Damien BRUNET (LFQQ)e-mail : [email protected], L'Univers de Damien BRUNEThttp://www.udb.fr.st/

Hi folks,i've been flying several PSS's A320/321 during last days and noticed that some times, on short final AC is in difficult keeping GlideSlope and ends by loosing it and going too low.So the only thing i can do at that point is to disable AP and trim AC, if it's not too late :-(Should i somehow tweak aircraft.cfg for getting a more stable GS?Thanks in advance for helpingcheersLuigi ;-)

Hello all,I know there is a similar post that was just put out, but I'd like to know who has went from 512MB of RAM to 1GB of RAM and noticed a considerable difference in FS2002 performance. Framerate difference would be a plus, but just over all, like transition from view to view, then view to menu. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!MaulWho Wants To Fly The Big Jets In & Out Of Chicago O'Hare...I DO! :-wave

I'm using FS2002 Standard. When I try to select the plane, MS says it can't load a coupleof Gauge files.I removed those Files form the Gauges folder, and then MS justlocks up when I try to select the plane this time.Also... While I'm here, a number of planes I've DL'ed haveDulled virtual cockpit canopy's.Is there any way to get these back to normal view texture.I'd rather view MS scenery in all its glory than througha washed out canopy cover.

Guys and Gals,I need some help here. We are trying to figure out how to adjust the view in FS so the pilot appears to be sitting dead on the center line of the runway looking straight ahead. The way it is now, the center line appears to be pointing to the right. For the person sitting in the left seat of our cockpit, the view is correct. However, the guy in the right seat feels like the plane is yawing sideways down the runway. We would like to center the view. I realize this will create a minimized yawing effect for the left seater equal to the right seater. But this way, it wont be so dramatic for the right seater. I've tried everything I can think of to change this wit…
