Hi all,Could someone take the time please to explain the A/THR on the Airbus? I have a complete A340 FCOM from Airbus and I still can't understand one point, it's doing my head in!I understand most of it, I will explain some of it and then ask some questions.So: The A/THR can be ARMED by: On the ground: pushing the A/THR button when the engines are powered down or by moving the TL to the FLX/MCT or TOGA detents OR: In Flight: By pushing the A/THR button when the TL are OUT of the ACTIVE range or by moving the TL past the CLB detent. In fsk,if you listen to the ATIS it gives the runway in use but when you tune into dep in fsk it will assign you to a diffrent rwy other than atis..Is there anyway I can fix thisAlpha35

For awhile now I have been looking for AFCADs for the following airports: Islip-Long Island MacArthur (ISP/KISP), Malmo-Sturup Sweden (MMX/ESMS), and Salzburg Austria (SZG/LOWS). With these airports either I could not find a AFCAD for it, or the AFCAD was for a download scenery and not for the default airport, so I decided to try and make a AFCAD for these airports myself.What do I need to make a AFCAD and how exactly do I make the AFCAD?(I did post this in the TTools section to, but figured more people see it here)

Anyone know if someone has made this glider? I saw a show on the History Channel tonight and they were showing these things landing (CRASHING) all over with troops and equipment. I just added some Horizon and America West flightplans manually. I got the aircraft, and the planes show up, but 5 of the 6 show up without wheels! It's kinda funny, but so unreal. How do I fix that? I know the model included wheels.

I'm in need of someone to repaint the IFDG Dornier 328 in United Express Colors (Air Wisconsin).

How can a CRJ park at a gate? Wouldn't their fuse-door make it a little hard for passengers to get on, let alone allow the jetway to connect to the plane? Anyone know how this works without leaving a huge gap between the plane and the gate b/c of the swing-down door?

Hi !I'have a problem with FS2002, it was working fine, but from one day to another, when I press the fly now button, and the plane is in the terminal, it sinks, no matter what plane or what airport, the altimeter has the lecture 38 800', and then the crash message is displayed. I have already tried the reinstallation, and the problem persists, my directx version is 9.0a , I dont now if someone had the same problem beforeThanks a lot for your help.EstebanLAB2160

I can record and play back Flight Videos with no poblem, however, how does one copy this activity to a floppy disk to give to someone, or is it possible to do this using FS2002.James

This addon may have potential, but right now, in my opinion, it is not worth it. I have flow 5 flights, using the FFX 737-500 merged with the dreamfleet panel. I am not a pilot, but I fly about 100k per year. I have experienced, as a passenger, lots of turblence, but never anything like this. On 3 out of the 5 flights, my 737 was almost knocked out of the air on approach. The turbulence during flight is not very realistic--large movements of the plane, almost aways. What about sharp joints? Interestingly I flew one flight, right into a thunderstorm just see what would havppen, and in this one case, nothing happened, On my final flight, in clear air, I suddently sp…

I just completed a flight from UUEE to LOWW. I truly enjoyed it because it allowed me to discover great freeware scenery and "re-discover" a great panel and plane.I used SHEREMETYEVO AIRPORT (UUEE) MOSCOW version 3 from Gary V. (uuee3.zip) and Project Freeware Scenery Wien-Schwechat, LOWW(pfsloww15.zip). They are great sceneries, with all the important features (for me) and don't kill my framerates. Sorry guys, but I have to say this: For me the important stuff is taxi lines, taxi signs, and gates; not tons of trees, passengers inside the terminal, arrival boards etc that kill framerates. Hi,I have started to have a problem, where by when I turn my plane lights on the ai traffic that I can see disapear and all that is left is the wheels.If I turn the lights off then it comes back, it only affects 2D view, not VC or spot plane.Anyone know why this is?.Dan.

WHEN DID MSFS2002 GO GOLD.....Does anyone of the Avsim staff have availibilty to to look way back in the news archives and see.......I thought it was right around Sept29,2001 and I know it was released on Oct 19th 2001 which was three weeks later. Also I am aware that there was a delay as a result of 9/11 and the TwinTowers removal.I guess it would seem that if they were able to press out enough copys and package them and get them to the store shelf in three weeks it would seem that it would be realistic for them to have a earlier than July 29th release date......unless there is a shortage of writable CDs.

Now that FS 2004 is GOLD, I assume that Microsoft will not change or add anything else and that it is stable enough to become Release To Market status.My question is:When are Beta Testers released from their NDA? I can understand why things are hush hush during the beta testing. But now that it is GOLD, when can Beta Testers talk? I found a thread on this subject but no one seems to have resolved the issue. I emailed Lou directly last night, but have found myself awake at 4:00AM desperately trying to resolve this issue. Funny how when something is not working one will expend all ones effort to find the problem!The short story here is...after removing Ariene 737 aircraft and re-installing the DF734 (I had mapped the DF panel to the Ariene model and wanted a clean start) I am now unable to import FS2002 flight plans from my system. When I go to import in the FMC is says FS2000 and the Screen is empty.What is the Deal?????????????????????????????Please help! I love this aircraft!
