I recently found a VERY comprehensive POH in the form of a PDF file. It is for the Dreamfleet C172P which was designed for FS2000 ( the doc was written by Alex Franzen) . It is the most comprehensive doc I have found so far.I am wondering if there are any other equally well done freeware documents out there. It is only a shame that I don't have a C172P in my fleet. In regards to so-called "realism" which everyone calls for -- the biggest weakness I see in this area is the lack of POHs for various so-called very realistic a/c. In real life, a pilot works very much in accordance with his POH - but mostly, we in FS2002, just get in and fly.Barry

Just recently there was a B1900 panel in the new library files list on the main page. I tried downloading it but couldn't seem to get a good connection, so figured I'd just try the next day. The next time I looked it was gone. A library search didn't turn it up. What happened to it?Sidney Schwartz [KPDX]Ultimate Traffic/Radar Contact/FSMeteo/FSSE/FSassist/FDC

Maybe I've misunderstood the situation but I thought that Pete Dowson's work on 'his' interfacing module was originally conceived of and implemented by a fellow named Adam Szofren, author of the FSASM BGL scenery language and compiler (forerunner and former contemporary of today's SCASM BGL scenery compiler).Adam originally built his 3rd party interfacing module for FS98 and I thought Pete Dowson expounded upon Adam's original idea and coding under a freeware agreement. Can anyone clarify this situation?

I'm just full of questions this week!I'm curious about the various addons that simulate turbulence. I know that Active Sky wxRE simulates turbulence. I know that FSUIPC ( :) ) can suppress or add turbulence to clouds. Active camera adds ground roll vibrations (not sure if that's really a turbulence or not). Upcoming (today?) extreme weather simulates all kinds of turbulence, but seemingly by altering the motion of the aircraft.I remember seeing in the FSUIPC docs that turbulence can have a drastic impact on frame rate, particularly with large amounts of AI. My question is which kind of turbulence affects frame rate? With ultimate traffic, should people with middle o…

Last weekend I was lucky enough to see the Battle of Britain memorial flight on route to Biggin Hill, that got me thinking to my FS. So I decided to try to find the planes for FS2002 but there seems to be hardly any in the file library. Can anyone tell me if any of the FS2000 or CFS planes will work with 2002? Or can anyone direct me to some files elsewhere?Regards,Keith

I'm not one to ask about an upcoming sim, I'll wait for the reviews, but to the people who have the beta, or simply those who know the restrictions of an NDA, could you tell me what they are? I am just curious is all. Thank you.

Over half the time I land, my aircraft goes right through the ground! I look in the spot plane view, and the top of the cabin, is barely visable because the rest is underground under the scenery. Is that a scenery problem, or is that a landing problem of mine? How I land is with the nose barely up. The only time I land successfull is with the wheels flat and then bounce up 5 feet off the runway, then land smoothly. How am I supposed to land so that won't happen?

Hello fellow simmers,The following question was first posted at the PC/Hardware forum but my feeling is that here I will get more responses due to the higher traffic. Anyway, it is not such a technical question.I'm thinking to upgrade my display setting and to move from 17" to 19" monitor (CRT). I've read many reviews on such monitors but of-coarse none of them refer to the specific requirements of flight simming. I will appreciate to have your insight for the important features that I need to look for and for recommendations of specific models. Thanks,Shay

Does anyone know if the midfield terminal at Dulles has been "fixed" in FS2k4? I'm not expecting any more detail at Dulles, but it would be nice if the midfield terminal (B Gates), a straight rectangular building, were depicted correctly as opposed to the "L" shape in FS2k2.

Hi all! Recently, I lost all the ai aircraft when flying offline in FS2002 PRO. I'm sure it's something in the code, but I'm a user, not a programmer. I love flying online with VATSIM most of the time, and am a company pilot of a VA. Can anyone help? Thanks, Gary Goin

I have three computers on a network through a router. Two of them can connect to eachother, the thirt cannot so it's nothing to do with the router (I imagine anyway). When I host a game on the offending machine, it generates an IP address that is different than the machines real address. Also, it's different than the address generated by DirectPlay network diagnostics. The fs2002 config file has the correct IP address in it, but FS doesn't use it when you host a session, in addition, this same computer cannot see sessions created by my other two computers. Here's the differences...the two good ones are wireless and running DX8.1, and the bad machine (ironically my brand …

Just curious how many people have temporarily stopped buying addon's and/or adding freeware addon's for fear that they might not work right away or at all with FS2004?[div align=center][link:www.jetdoc.com/STO/]Visit The Bookstore & Gift Shoppe][/b

Hi I find that during online flying in IVAO, I like to chat via MSN as much as I like tinkering with that radio stack, so I'm looking for some module that aloud MSN to run inside within FS window? Something like SBhost.dll.

Probably a dumb question but having installed the 'POSKY Airbus A330-200 Qantas Airways VH-EBA version 2' Airbus I have no virtual cockpit (just an outside view). Is this normal or am I missing something? What I am really looking for is an Airbus, Qantas paint job, with the works, decent sound, paint, cockpits etc - any suggestions on which is the most realistic Airbus model ?Also, when a model is listed is 'AI' does this mean it is lacking certain features which make it less than ideal for Sim flying?Sorry if these are dumb questions but I have looked through the FAQ's but with so much information on the Sim boards it gets really hard...
