Hi All:Have had no luck with Verizon, so I thought I'd beg for help here. Ever since I switched my DSL from static, USB connectivity in Minneapolis to a dynamic Ethernet connection in Baltimore, I have been unable to connect to multiplayer sessions online. Verizon says all TCP/IP ports are open, firewalls all down here, and I guess there, still no luck. I can connect to RW and the intenet speed is wonderful, but I cannot connect to multiplayer. Hi,TopGun started a thread on "Braking Effectiveness" and several guys pointed to the "AirEd" utility file. Thanks to that discussion, I downloaded/installed the file (thanks to the guys who contributed comments in the thread) and tried to utilize it.Unfortunately, clicking on the 'Braking' line doesn't display a box for changing the value - as the instructions indicate it would. Further, some aircraft currently have the maximum value (+32768), some have +22000, while others have a series of " [[[[[[[[[[[[[[ " marks.Anyone have any thoughts on the subject? I'd appreciate seeing them if you have.Regards,John

I'm wondering what the state of the art is for 737 flight models and panels? I've tried the greatest airliners 737 on a friends PC a few months ago. Looked nice enough, but I'd like some opinions on flight model / cockpit operation from someone who's had more hours. Any others at the top of the list?thanks!sg

I know this message should be in the UT forum ,i changed server and now are having problems getting a new password sent to me.So here is my question,why is it that the aircraft identity on the status board is different to the red lettered identity you see above the aircraft in the air.It makes it very hard to identify the two.Ultimate traffic is a great program ,but the status board is useless the way it is .EXAMPLEDEPARTURE BOARD -DL6169PALMSPOTTER-DL6169AIRCRAFT FLYING N836DLI am thinking my install might be wrong,has anyone else got the same problem ?Or an answer to it.Thanks for any forthcoming repliesDon:-hmmm

Ever since I installed Windows XP my aircraft textures have gone bad. They get all jagged where the wing and the fuselage connect and when you go into tower view or zoom far out in spot plane the textures get messed up and alot of noticeable lines and white boxes show up. I have tried checking anti-aliasing and still no fix. Can someone please help me fix my textures.Thank you.

I am having trouble flying the DreamFleet 737-400. My cruise alt. is FL360. I get somewhere inbetween FL310 and FL320 and cannot climb anymore. My V/S is 2500fpm. My airspeed drops to about 160 or lower. Engines are at full power and the airplane has positive AOA and still doesnt climb. I got it so I could hold somewhere around FL320 but I try and climb my airspeed goes down and I begin to stall. What is the alt ceiling of a 737-400?

I d/l-ed the US Airwyas 733 repaint for the FFX 733 model but it only contained an airline called "www.dba.com" or something like that...anyone else have this same problem?

I've been spending several hours searching the web and calling some contacts but I have been unable to find and answer to a simple question... How does the 'trim in motion' sound in an Airbus.On most 'old' style cockpits you find the trim wheel that rotates and that makes the nice clicking sound. On some aircraft there never used to be a sound. But on an Airbus I know there is a digitally created sound. I just have no idea what it is like. In the past there have been many airbus cockpits that include trim sounds, but these are all incorrect (all based on a 727 recording).Anybody here able to help me?Mathijs KokLAGO

Hello,After some minutes flying the new FFX 737 model FS freezes completely. You can't even exit fs..there is no way out but to reset the pc. it's extremely annoying...wondering if you have encountered the same problem, because it must be the ac itself..there is no gauge or something to blame.some days ago Fs didn't merely freeze, it abruptly closed like controlled by a ghost after the FFX 737 was loaded. however that is no longer..dont know why.By the way..did you notice that the engines of the Ac is designed incorrectly? They are slightly too big..such as those of the 737 NG. think I might ask the author if he did that deliberately.thanks for answers and helpChris

I'm having a bit of a problem with ATC. When I use the Flight Planner, and after having set up a flight, when I go to the ATC window, I don't have the Clearance option to select. I only have the TAXI options showing up. This has just started. Anybody else had this problem?Mitch R.

I've just uninstalled FS202K..(again).due to problems mentioned on an earlier thread (Freezing splash screen).I uninstalled thru "Add/Remove" but looking in explorer, fs is still there..allthough gone from "Add/Remove..can I just delete all these folders, apart from some add-on planes I want to keep (move em to My Docs?).I must have a completely clean reinstall...to hopefully get rid of the prob.......the best way to do this please.......Thanks

I'm sure its been asked before but I'm obviously doing something fundamentally wrong with my flying - the DF 737 autopilot works as advertised but I can never get a localiser/glidepath capture and always end up handflying the approach (I set up the radio freq etc)Any quick answers/solutions - Am I missing something very basic here?!!KD :-zhelp
