I just went from 768 DDR PC2100 to 1 gig DDR PC2700 and now FS2002 will not run for over a minute of two before I encounter and error and it shuts down.I built this system a couple of months ago and have had no problems at all: Asus A7N8X board with built in NVidia digital sound, AMD XP2400+ chip, 2 512 DDR PC2700 RAM, 8X AGP video, Windows XP Pro and FS2002 Pro.Would this be a system problem or XP? The system boots like a rocket with no errors. When I switched out the memory there was no problem and also tried clearing CMOS. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Im noticing various aircraft.cfg files around for merging the DF panel with the FFX B737's. Some have 2 tanks others three. Howmany tanks and what capacity for the 200,300,400,500 variants?ThanksEric

This bugs me alot in FSWhen it is raining there is never any water on the ground and when it is snowing there is no sign of snow on the ground. I think that that is a big defect of FS and that they should think about adding it into the next FS (not 2004)Tell me if this bugs you as wellAm i alone??????????????????A Sloan

Does anyone know why ATC will sometimes ask AI traffic to hold position caution the 737 (referring to you), when you are half way across the airport already parked at your gate?There's some glitch in some of the AFCADS or aiports, and I can't figure out how to fix it.Lee

Hi all I am not that familiar with the in's and out's of videocards and CPUand how they impact on FPS.. I would like to upgrade my current computer so that I can get more FPS than I currently do but i don't know which device affects frame rates more (increasing) will a high end 128 mb (or the upcoming 256 mb cards) give me more FPS or is it better to simply go to a faster CPU.? does the video card simply improve the actual quality of what u are seeing on your monitor or can it also increase FPS? I can only afford to do one or the other and my primary concern is frame rates vs picture quality so i would appreciate all the help you folks can offer me with this i…

I was wondering, is there any way to fly DF 737 just using the auto pilot functions and not bother with the FDS. I've looked at this thing and can't seem to figure it out. I haven't had the time to figure out the FDS but would love to fly some of these planes. Maybe it's not possible, but if it is, any help would be appreciated.Thanks, King

In FS2002, if you attempt to fly in IMC to a non-ILS equipped airfield, the ATC vectors you to a "Visual" approach and asks you if you have the runway visual - which of course you don't because you are in IMC. If you report "no" , then the ATC continues to ask you if you are visual.Thanks Barry

The new FFX 737s are really great and loads of fun, but the textures everyone is doing are so dense, there is a big pause everytime I go to spot view or engine and wing view. Does anyone else experience this? Is there any way to cure this? I have a relatively fast computer a P4 2.4 with a 64mb GeForce4 Ti4200 card and 512k of ram. I do use AA in my hardware settings.Lee

I was just at the Eaglesoft web site and in the upcoming releases part of the site they say that they are coming out with the Citation X as the next project!

I am very satisfied with performance using the 40.91 drivers and a GeF4 ti4200. I tweaked using the GeForce tweaker (I think it was guru3d.com)...and like the results. However, when I go into the display folder and try to check settings, my screen goes black, I get a small cursor flashing in the upper left corner of the screen as if the system (W98SE) is going into reboot, but nothing happens.Any ideas on solving this? I know the radius information is in the aircraft.cfg, but which line is it that I need to change?I don*t want to go into RAFCAD, so no need to have a different radius for every repaint of that model, just want to change radius to a bigger number and that to be valid for all textures of that plane.Thanks
