Did anyone tweaked AFP cfg file to have a more realistic behaviour?

I was always afraid I would have to write a post like this one day: confessions of an autopilot. Here's my problem:Since 5 years I have always used the autopilot to take off my planes (simply engage the altitude hold of the autopilot, and off you go...). Great, because I did not need to use a joystick and so I could play FS on my laptop without having to carry around a joystick. And I never had to worry about things like trim.But with the Project Airbus this does not really work: the plane takes off but does not take up enough speed or even stalls. Can anyone give me some procedures? 1) By how much do I need to lift the nose, how much trim do I need to apply? 2) At what p…

Will COF do automatic updates via the internet or willwe still need FSMeteo for flying with real time whether?And what are the chances the following will work :1 FS Genesis Mesh.2 FS Navigtor ( will we still need it given the new map view ? )3 Simflyer airports.4 DF Archer and Cardinal.5. Hello I have CH Flight Sim Yoke USB and it has that trim wheel and it keeps on making my plane go crazy it seems to be overiding the flight sim trim control or it is more powerful, is their a way to disable the trim wheel on the yoke?Thank you,Matt Cook

FS was working 2 days ago and now it closes itself out and freezes when I pick the FFG Saab 340. Any ideas.......please don't say reinstall FS. It would close itself out usually when I had the CH flight sim yoke usb plugged and was using the flight planner. When I would just fly right away with the keyboard and then change to the FFG saab 340 while on the runway, my pc would freeze.p4 2.4ghz512MB pc2700win xp pro

Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to convert CFS3 aircraft for use in FS2002? Are there any tutorials or articles about this.I have had fair success in using CFS2 planes in FS2002 by making some minor adjustments to the aircraft and panel cfg files.Regarding this, occasionaly the gun sight in a CFS2 plane's virtual cockpit will display as an opaque square in FS2002. Hi thereRecently purchased FS2002 boxed with a MS Precision Pro joystick. Installation went fine, being playing for a coupla weeks now.Decided to go for my first fly in the b747-400, model etc loaded up but then I found myself staring at a blank panel...?On further investigation I found no b747-400 guages that the panel.cfg tries to call up installed in default gauge directory. Had a search on the 3 installation CD's and couldn't find any boeing 747-400 gauges? :-hmmm Is this a known omission? can anyone help?djw

It used to be that when I cycled through the cockpit views in FS2002 (using the "S" key), the first tap of the key would give me a few gauges across the bottom of the window. The second tap would give me a wide open screen, etc. It was nice to fly with this view, as the panel was out of the way, but at least some key instruments were showing.Well, something happened, and now, when I cycle the views, I go from the panel view to wide screen... no more abbreviated set of instruments.Does anybody know how to re-activate this view?

Considering an upgrade to the video card. I am tired of the driver issues, and lack of performance on my Gforce2, and want to try one of the radeon series. My motherboard will only support 4X AGP, so is there any point in getting a card past the 9100 series? All of the higher cards have 8X AGP. Is this performance bottleneck from the MOBO a 'show stopper' - or are there other features of the later cards that make them worthwhile, even though the full AGP multiplier is not available?

hi all,i just downloaded a plane yesterday and it said to tweak a few things in order to get some nice wing views, so i did thatm and boy now i am so addicted to these wing views, hell, now i don't even fly a plane without wing views, i have a 737 and a 747 using the PSS Panel :-loli can now be a passenger and a pilot at the same time. :-lolanyone else on here addicted to wing views,

Hi: As I cannot purchase the best on both. Please tell me what should I do: install Ge Force4 AGPx8 with 128 mega and have Ram 512 mega OR... intall a GE Force4 with 64 mega and Ram 1024 mega. What is better for FS2002.(works with Petium 2.4 G - 533 MHz.)Thanks! jose.
