I have this weird little problem with my Cathay Pacific AI planes. ATC is calling my Cathay Pacific AI planes by the proper callsigns "Cathay" (Cathay Pacific works too, I've tried them both) But when the pilots of the Cathay Pacific planes answer ATC back they use "China Southern" as the callsign for their Cathay Pacific planes.How do I fix up this wierd little problem?

Yesterday, a new F-14 Tomcat became available. It is by Ben Henke. I unzip the file and could not find a installation file (instructions). I even tried to use another program (a specific program that can install FS2002 add-ons), but it reported there were many sound files with no specified target folder). So I gave up. Can someone explain the required steps to install this one?Thanks,Jim B

Hi guys,I'm wondering if anyone knows whether both the dynamic weather and the real weather systems be enabled simultaneously in FS2K4? Will the dynamic weather system in FS2K4 enable the development of weather formations between the real weather downloads?Also will you be able to see a distant weather system or will it just appear as you fly into it?Any opinions or tidbits of information would be great.Thanks,

Here's my question. I would like to fly on line using the nav data that is in FS2002. (I really don't want to buy charts and maps or spend hours on line downloading those that are free} VATSIM is cool but they use REAL WORLD charts (is that correct). I have never found anyone in MS game rooms flying on line. SUGGESTIONS appreciated. Rick

Just wondering if im going blind or what :) I been downloading these types of aircraft alot in the past few days. But when i recently downloaded the KLM-CRJ-200LR the displays are missing in the VC, like all the avionics are shut off or something, tho they are not because 2D panel is fine. When I click on ZIPDIVE for any download file, I get a list of files held within the download. Some files (mostly .TXT files)listed have a hyperlink - which when I click it to read the file , comes up with some kind of .PHP file and my machine opens a graphics programme and tells me that it cant read the file.Any ideas of what the ZIPDIVE is for and how it is supposed to work. It would be very handy at times to see what is included in a large download.Barry

HiToday I was just flying around KORD with ultimate traffic, and noticed a bunch of untextured aircraft.Could it be when I was updating and It kept wanting to overwrite files?? and I did somthing wrong, or that I control- alt - deleted out of it to get the boxes away?

My MS Sidewinder FF 2 doesn't seem to be working properly inside FS2002...the ground bumps and shake work...but when flying there is no pressure ( or centre force) on the stick...when I exit from FS2002 the stick jolts to the centre...(with good centre force)...does anyone have any ideas as to how I might be able to give more feel, or fix the problem...( all null zones have been already minimised) Also, I have tried the patch from MS but it didn't improve..Regards Daryl

Hi,FS2002 has matured into a wonderful product, FS2004 is about to be released and yet, we're still stuck with the ugly C-172 panel...Most of my "real-world" flying is performed aboard a C-172 (like 90% of the GA pilots I imagine...)Thanks to Real Air Simulations, we now have a wonderful flight model (much better than the original one) for free.Still, the default MS panel for the C-172 is so unrealistic - with a cartoonish appearance and awful graphics...Since the cessna 172 is such a popular aircraft, it would be wonderful to get a proper panel for it - something that would have the quality of the products released by the leading designers (Captain Sim, Dreamfleet, FSD, …

The Eaglesoft beechjet is a great aircraft with loads of features if one looks at the screenshots on their site-could some kind person tellme if it has a clickable vc?i know fs2004 will have them but i wanna try it NOW!!JK

Hello, Has anyone who has installed Bob Bernstein's Harvey Field had problems with the scenery textures (please see the screen shot). I have a directory in my FS2002 Scenery folder named Washington where I keep all the Washington state scenery (incidentally, Bob's Tacoma Narrows, Bowerman Field, and Elma Mun sceneries work fine in this setup). Judging by the screenshot, it looks like the autogen's working properly, and it doesn't look like a landclass problem, so I'm wondering if it's some sort of texture buffer memory issue or something. Is there any possible way to have the airline callsign be either Airbus or Boeing? I have tried these before, but it doesnt seem to work. I know that FS2002 'knows' these names, though as they are spoken when I state the a/c type to ATC.

Has anyone else noticed how the FFX 737 pylons look nothing like real-life ones? I love their a/c and dont mean to be mean, but I don't understand why the pylons are simply "lines", when in real life they are more than just "lines".Any info appreciated,Zach
