Just opened FSX and was invited to update my Coutl Engine and Add-On Manager for my FSDT and FB products. Did this exactly as instructed and now FSX simply will not launch. I get the opening splash screen with the FSX logo but it shuts itself down and disappears from my screen. What on earth has happened and does anyone have any ideas how I can recover this? I'm trying to figure out how to set the selector as part of my joystick options for an aircraft and wanted to know if there is a button for this, or does it just have to be done manually in FSX?

I need help with getting FSX Google Earth Tracker working. I have FSX Acceleration on a WIN7 64 bit computer. I have installed FSGET. I get an icon on my Taskbar. If I rt click on the Icon it has Enable Tracker, Run FSX and Run Google Earth 4 plus a lot of other lines. I do not have GE 4. I have Version 7.1.2.2041. I have clicked on Run FSX and waited until it is loaded. I did not select an airport yet. I clicked on Run GE4 and my GE opens. I selected the airport that I wanted to see when I ran FSX. I then selected an airplane and a location and allowed FSX to run and set me at the airport I selected. I then rt clicked and selected Enable Tracker. It says Connected to…

I just got FlyTampa Buffalo and am running very, very tight on memory. I've reduced the settings (volumetric grass, etc) but I'm getting the dreaded FSUIPC dings. Any tricks you have that might help? (I did reduce my slider settings and, of course, that helped but, I'd like to know if there is anything else I can do.) Also, I don't have Aerosoft Niagara but I do have FTX Global/Vector. Thanks!

I have the Version for FSX, and the another Computer (I didn't install FSX there) I installed the Clinet Version. How to make it work? I can't understand the manual.. someone can help me? Thank you

I was going to try and set up each of my planes with a different set up, so that they felt like different planes, rather than having the exact same controls for each plane. The cockpits aren't the same, and there are sometimes lots more things to do in say a 737 than a Lancair Legacy. Is this what the profile specific controls are for? Do I need to switch them each time, or is that automatically done?

Hi there, recently I've much time and want to master some more airliner addons. But I can't find any useful ones. PMDG 737NGX+MD11 are superb Flightsimlabs Concorde-X is OK so far, but FE panel is not modelled in VC CaptainSim's are very bad (no environment sounds on 767 like ventilation, recirculation fans, packs etc...) LevelD 767, MADDOG MD80: no 3D OverheadPanel, sounds not modelled correctly I want to fly some jet-airliners (not pistons like A2A's) inside VC. Are there any addons anyone would recommend? I really want to get the Aerosoft Airbus, but I have heard a lot of people have had issues with it in FSX Steam. Has anyone had any experiences with it in FSX Steam or know when a Steam version will be out?

I have a R9 290x 4gb graphics card. I have tried reinstalling the latest and the beta drivers. When I go to launch FSX-SE it comes up with the error. I just downloaded this today and have never made it past this part.

To any owners of South America Evolution by OFX Simulation: Can you tell me if this product is worth getting? I'm more interested in the accuracy of the landclass than the mesh. I've found multiple articles about its release last year, but no reviews. Thanks a lot. Dave

Hi guys I have this annoying little problem that happens on all aircraft. At load up after choosing the plane on the FSX, the plane moves forward immediately. I have to apply brakes as the plane appears on the screen, otherwise it will crash against the gate. I did re-calibrate the controller stick and always make sure that the F1 and the controller are on zero but after loading all aircraft go forward. Apart from that everything is good. Any help out there? Thanks in advance. john

I am looking to get FTX Global Base and the Aerosoft Airbus Bundle. But how good are they actually? Would you suggest something else? Should I consider the PMDG 737 NGX?

I don't know how to describe this problem in short, I will try. In default state PMDG 737-800 NGX is loaded about 67% of MTOW, with 100% fuel. I place it on LSZH (Zurich) runway, set flaps to 5, push the throttle to 96 or 98 N1, and rotate on 150kts, first at 12 degrees than 15. About 300ft I retract the gears, and in that moment NGX is going around 160kts. The problem is aircraft won't increase the airspeed when climbing above 1500ft/m, staying at 160-165kts not allowing me to set flaps to 1 at above 180kts and then off above 200kts. When I retract the flaps to 1 at 160kts (not safe in RL) the speed will increase slowly at the above climb rate. So that is a practical…

Good day all. No help in Ezdok forum. I am having some issues with Ezdok. New W7 installation, Clean FSX-SE install, no other addons, Just FSX-SE and Ezdok. Ezdok "Show Studio" is available in FSX and I see Ezdok icon on start up. However Ezdok does not work well. I cannot change VC cameras but I can change some Aircraft cameras clicking on views in Show studio menu but it shows skeleton airplane. There is no Ezdok effects at all. No bumps, no movements.. Hello, I have EditVoicepack X and modifications 1-13 installed. I cant figure out why after landing and I click on Taxi To Gate, its saying Taxi To The Stand instead of Taxi To The Gate. I checked the modifications and did not locate Taxi To The Stand.

Hey folks, So I received an email from simmarket notifying me of an update to Zinertek HD Airport Graphics. Anybody else get the updated version? I'm curious to know what they changed/updated. They didn't mention what changes were made. I'm going to be a little busy and probably won't have time to update until next week. I just want to fly this week whenever I get the time and not worry about updating programs. Any info greatly appreciated.

During installation of new add-on scenery in the Add-on Scenery folder, somehow the Texture folder has now disappeared. When I try to open MSFX, I get the message "Scenery read error. Attempting to open a non existent directory: C/program files(86)//M Games/MSFX/texture. Click OK to continue." I click OK and MSFX opens at the Free Flight page. I make my selection and click Fly Now. But MSFX closes down and my Desktop appears. I've checked the Recycle Bin in case I've wrongly deleted but nothing there. What do I do now? At the setup window, it does not show the version like FSX or prepar3D to select and setup. Can anyone help and solve this problem for me please!!

I'n having lots of fun with the default A321, improved exterior and cockpit textures, enhanced sounds too. But recently I'm having the engines quit in mid-flight in high cruise, or on descent. Sometimes I can get them restarted using Ctl-E but often, not a chance. I thought the problem might be a new airfile I indtalled, but I've since reverted to my previous airfile and the pronlem persists. Is this icing? Would icing have this effect, even though I'm flying in summer? Cheers.

Hi, I am having a problem with FSX where my sun doesn't fully set. If I set the time to night the sun will have set. However if I fly during the day for a duration which leads me into the night, the sun will be low in the sky but It will never fully set. I have flown past mid night and it still doesn't set. Has anybody else had this problem or know what is causing it? Thanks in advance Jacob
