hiI have an Idea of owning a ligitimate copy of FS COF but unfortunately there is NONE here in Thailand, and I'm not sure there will be any dealer that will ever import it or not, so any suggestion to any web where it will offer the best deal and will ship to Thailand? So far I see shops shipping to US, Canada only.

I had the 45.23 Nvidia driver updates working nicely with my GeForce 2 MX400 card in Wihn 98SE, then installed new card, no update or additional drivers. Everything seemed to go well during the installation, however FS2002, FS9 and AOL crash on loading, neither of those programs getting past the initial start-up pages. Any ideas? Tried to installed Geofa's Debonair into FS9 but get a message which says "Sound-File ungueltig". I click ok and the plane will load but whenever I click on anything or change views it locks up and I have to exit the sim. What is the correct way to install the Deb. I have it on FS2002 ok.Jim

Hi Id like to know if the heading indicator can be used to fly to an airport. Because I take off and then am lost. I dont want to use VOR. So when I ask the nearest airport for directions. He says 3 oclock 14miles. So I turn 90 degress right where 3 oclock is but I never find the airport and the direction just changes to 8 oclock or something. Please help me out. Thanks.

I can't see some things in 3d view (full screen) for example can't see FSNavigator, adventure display menues for changeing the aircraft etc. i can only see them when I switch to window mode is this problem with drivers are there better ones? as far as performance I have no problem my system specs. are written below.. thanksOnly problem would seem to be displaying some of the above metioned things while in full screan mode. I use Nvidia 45.23 drivers if anyone has better option pls let me know. ThanksAndy

I installed MegaScenery this weekend. Because my system was "upgraded" to Windows XP I still had the FAT32 file system. Sure enought I hit the failure that has already been mentioned in this news group. So I used the CONVERT command and changed the file system to NTFS. NO PROBLEMS.Now MegaScenery installed without problems. The install tweaked some FS2004 settings dealing with performance.Now, my system is only 1.4 GHZ AMD but I do have 800 MBs memory which helps. I was afraid that MegaScenery would produce a slide show on my system. BUT, instead it is running with at LEAST a 5 FPS increase! And the level of scenery detail is just great. This ground layer of haze is a real problem for me. You go from almost uniform glass-like haze overtop of it, and as soon as you go through the Thin Beige Line, you are crystal clear. Very very unsatisfactory looking. Will FSUIPC fix this? I would buy it if it did!Noel

Hello,I have never added AI aircraft to FS2002 or FS2004. I'm not talking about My Traffic or Ultimate Traffic. How do you make a flyable aircraft (downloaded from the net) to be AI aircraft? Is this possible without using special utilities? I only have the FS default AI aircrafts with some new paint schemes, but would like to add more. I've noticed on some freeware aircrafts, the author mentions using it for AI, but never tells you how to do it. It must be common knowledge?thanks,Cloud9

Hello, I am trying to fully grasp the airspaces in Fs9. I'm going to use Seattle International for example, the default. Their are concentric circles around this airport. Let's say that I was flying in. 1-Do I have to receive permission to fly through each airspace or does the permission for the first ring put you in control through the rest? 2-How do you figure out and find which frequency to use in order gain permission? This leads to another question. I know that ATC controls you inside of here via radar and this leads to a safer collision factor. What keeps planes from colliding all the time outside of controlled airspace? I know of the east-west altitude rules, but …

Did some setting changes in Nvidia Media Centre tweaker.Now I've got ghosting on all text on all screens, includingthis message screen, word-processor screens, etc. Can't cure it. Checked dxdiag, nothing seems amiss , allother functions OK. Is anyone else having trouble with the ISD (Italian Scenery Design) website? I am trying to download the Milan (Malpensa) scenery but all I get when I click on the link to download it is "The requested URL was not found on this server"Is there anywhere else I can download this scenery?

Hey, Ray (Proudfoot):Take a bow. Your method is working.Suddenly it dawned on me why the Windows mode is so ugly compared with my full screen (1600x1200x32). It's because my desktop was still set to 1024x768x32. So every time I booted up and opened FS2004, the defafult windows display for FS2004 was set to 1024x768, not the 1600x1200 that I earlier pre-set WITHIN the sim itself.I just set the Windows desktop to 1600x1200 and now when I open FS2004 in Windows mode, it's as crystal clear and sharp as in full screen mode with the same fps. Hooray!I don't even need to autohide the windows taskbar, the image is so big and clear on my 21" TRINITRON. But I do hide the menu …

I am looking into buying a Flight Planner. Would appreciate opinions on FSBuild and FSNavigator, as they appear to do the same thing. At the same time, the FSBuild web site describes FSNavigator as a "supported app."I will wait for the FS2004 version for both, but would like to know the differences between the two products.Thanks,Joe

I have all sliders 2/3 except for clouds..when I turn and bank left or right and see the terrain..all trees -my fps go up to 30-45 fps..very littel stutter. When I look straight ahead without panel, 10 15 with sttuter...with panel 25-30? Looking for an AI programme for 2002/2004; Ultimate Traffic has a good review from Avsim etc. But I use many UK addon airports [Gary Summons, Simflyers etc]. I understand that FS Traffic is compatible with Simflyers and Gary Summons; does anyone know whether I can use Ultimate Traffic with these airports - either "from the download" or updated using Lee Swordy's kit? I have tried the Ultimate Traffic forum with no luck.Grateful for any help - Many thanks.

I have just installed FS 9 and I can not get the "add new scenery" to accept the file in Addon Scenery or from any other directory .I am using XP very recently , Help says I must be the Administrator to use certain functions , I have checked that I am the Admistrator.I can not also get the "Send To" to accept shortcuts to Addon Scenery, Aircraft etc.I believe there is a setting common to both that is causing the problem. Can some one help please.
