I used to use map view...go to my destination airport...click and get ILS frequencies. I'd Ctrl+C, and then paste, Ctrl+V to my kneeboard. I can't seem to do that in FS9. Why not? What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance. Stan

Is there any program for Windows XP like enditall2? I don't know if End it all 2 supports Win XP, if it does, could someone tell me where to find it? Also, what kinda of memory managment program shall I use, I've heard it really helps the performance in FS9. I have 512mb PC3200 400mhz ram. Last but not least, what is the best driver for a Geforce FX 5200 128mb for fs9? Thanks. I tried using Bob Bernstein's excellent scenery in FS2004, but only problem is that some of the trees appear as a black rectangular object. Has anyone tried this? I also installed Gray's tree library, but that did not solve the problem.Thanks for any help!Airbus

I have ported over all of the FS2k files for the Concorde (I like to use it as AI traffic) but when JFK loads at a time when the Concorde should be at the airport I get a warning box stating that "Flight Simulator had detected potentially incompatible aircraft or software" I then give the location as c:program files...Concordemodelconcordeconcorde_n.mdl which is the location of the aircraft model. It I responde yes to load everything usually works fine, sometimes FS crashes.[br] Anyone else getting this?Thanks and blue skiesKevin

Hi all, Was wondering if there is anyone out there that Works on or close contact with Real Life DC-9 Aircraft? I want to Know if the Dc-9 Has 2 Strobes on each wing or just one that is in the same lens Config as the Wing nav light's? or is there a Stobe that also Blinks on the back End of the Wing Tips like the Dc-10 has? I would apprecite the info as i am Adjusting all my AI Planes Light's to have real life Nav And Strobe and beacon Light's to the Realistic positions Per the Real Life Aircraft! I know of simflyers.com and flytampa.com for payware scenery, but what are some of the other payware sites? Like for Amsterdam, the 3 London airports, Germany, Funchal, and other payware sites.

We now have New York Megascenery announced and i was wondering if people who have the allready released LA scenery can say something about the quality at low level altitudes...!?I have seen the screenshots at their site and sure it does look pretty real at 10000ft...But what about at 4000ft when aproaching an airport ???Can someone post some screenshots please ???Final goal would be to have the whole US covered with MegaScenery !!! I have noted download files for A1 aircraft. How can I add A1 aircraft? I noted in the "readme" files for these A1 downloads, that the file is simply placed in the Aircrat folder of FS2004. Is that all there is to it? Is the determination as to what airport these aircraft will be displayed automatically done by FS2004?Thanks,Stanner

I have installed Ocean FX 2 and I don't see any difference than the default ocean in fs9. I followed the instructions on how to install it. Still no luck. Can anyone give me some pointers and maybe some screens with it the way it should be? Do I have to have my water effects disabled or can I have reflections with the water as well? I really would like a dark ocean look in fs2004 with the reflections.Thank You,

I am new to flight simming. As a newbie I probably should not be expermenting with autopilot yet, but I need help setting the heading bug. I have read the learning center tutorial, but it is not sinking in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are using FSGenesis landclass you may have noticed large areas of gray rocks in northeast Ohio. I contacted Justin and he indicated that this will be fixed in a future release. Here is a quick fix if you want to use it until the landclass is corrected.Go to your FS9SceneryWorldTexture folder and find the file named. 133b2su1/bmp Rename it to save it.Make a copy of file 134b2su1.bmp and rename it to 133b2us1.bmpThe rocks are replaced with trees and grass.This changes the whole world so if you fly in areas that really has a lot of bare gray rocks you might want to switch them backRichard

Hello,I recall reading (I believe in the "read me" on installing FS9) that Microsoft says not to have two controllers connected that control the same surfaces- ie both a yoke and a joystick- plugged into your computer at the same time, as it can cause stutters or other problems in FS9.I currently use a yoke for GA flying, but would like to add a joystick in order to fly another aircraft like the cub- But I don't want to have to switch all the time, plugging one in and taking the other out, reprogramming the keys, etc.Has anyone tried a setup like this, and do the problems Microsoft warns of indeed occur?Best,Joel

So far I've been happy to fly the sim in the default season for this time of year - Winter where I am in Australia. I have tried other times of year but haven't taken too much notice of any differences in texture appearance from one season to another. That was until I started to wonder why, bang in the middle of winter, I have yet to see ONE single solitary tree that is anything but perfectly "summer" green - with all of it's leaves on. Hi allI have an audigy2 sound card and wish to use this with an old theatre 5.1 sound system we were using for the TV. This sound board does have a digtal out (I think some might call it an optical out). The problem is that the receiver does not have an optical in and I was wondering if anyone would know if this can be done and still utilize all the speakers and sub-woofer? I can't find any previous ref to this but I've noticed a change to the way the nav radios are set. When I decrease the decimal portion of the nav freq, as soon as it goes below .00 the integer automatically reduces by one, e.g.,If my current freq is 114.20 and I want to go to 114.90 I would normally just decrease the .20 DOWN to .90 but as soon as I go through .00 and reach .97 the 114 auto decreases to 113.In FS2002 the 114 stays at 114.P

Could someone tell me how to make the ATC menu stay in the upper left-hand corner of the current window view and down-size about half the original size?I always have to open FSUIPC and turn off the "Stop cockpit sizing and moving", then move and downsize the ATC menu window, then go back to FSUIPC and engage the "Stop....etc."It won't work to get it in place, save the flight, then come back to that flight and expect it to be anywhere other than smack in the middle of the screen.Yes, I normally have this window closed and only use it when communicating with ATC.I tried some things in the FS2k2 cfg that had ATC in the wording,but didn't get anywhere.Is it possible, OR is it…

I need to ask if there is a chance to run FS2004 with a PCI card?I have a 3.06GHz, 512K Cache, 533MHz Front Side Bus 1.5GB DDR266MHz ECC SDRAM with a Wildcat4 7110 256meg video card.The problem is the $1700.00 video card I have will only support DX7 and of course OpenGL. I am unsure if MS is supporting OpenGL!!!!!So is there a chance of a PCI card to handle this task or am I looking for a paddle in a murky creek?????

Howdy,Was wondering if anyone has a fix, or can tell me how to fix it myself, for a couple things at Witman Field in Oshkosh. Number one is that the ILS localizer for runway 36 is off a little to the east. Number two is the rather large building sitting in front of the same runway out about a half mile or so. Don't really have to worry abour hitting it, but it looks a little funky that close to the runway.Thanks.
