I need help!! After multiple attempts to get fab733v2.zip, Fabrizio Berretta's 737-300 panel working in FS9, having failed due to the MCP readouts not being readable, I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this? I really love this panel and want to be able to use it, but cannot as the autopilot, I don't know what I have selected!! Plus, I have the Freeware FSUIPC installed and in some panels changing IAS and Altitude are in increments of 10kts and 1000ft respectively. I`m thinking of upgrading from AMD 1.7 to 2.4 and video card fromgeforce3 ti500 to geforce fx.What is the lowest fx card to give mea framerate of say 20 in dense scenery with all display items onfull, also ! have wind98 would XP be any advantage ?Maybe I should upgrade the processor first before spending too muchCan anybody help please and are there any other points I shouldbear in mind ?thanks a lot eric

Hi,Could anyone explainwhy FS9 and FS2002 before persistently show the date one day behind, ie yesterday.My system time & date are both OK, but if I go into the Time & Date section of FS9 it shows yesterdays date.My default flight loads in Bristol, UK, so the time is shown as BST which is GMT+1.Can anyone explain this and maybe how to get out of itThanksTerry

I've noticed that the thrust reversers on some of the default aircraft are strong enough to actually move the aircraft backwards when on the ground. Normally you wouldn't use the reversers beow 60 (or so) knots due to exhaust injestion, but should they actually be this strong?Also, you can use the thrust reversers while airborne. I think that most commercial aircraft have safeguards to prevent thrust reversers activating while airborne - a failure in this system caused a crash while the aircraft was on approach a few years ago.- Martin

I was messing around with AI Traffic in FS9 last night using the ATR 42 from Project AI and on a short runway the aircraft landed half way down a short runway, which has sea at both ends and then needless to say couldn't stop before the end of the runway and fell into the sea, hence end of that aircraft for AI traffic. I know ATR42s can operate in and out of the airport - is this a problem with FS9 or is it dependant on particular AI aircraft?Also I've seen it at Heathrow with other Project AI aircraft too - they come in way to high and land very far down the runway (757s etc) the heavies.Has anybody come across the same situation?Thanks and RegardsDamien

fs2004 stutters beyond playable. I was able to run the game with no problem, then, all of a sudden it does this very bad stutter. So, bad that you cannot play the game. I have a P4 2.4 g, 1 gig mem, 128mb geforce 4600ti, audigy2 sound. I have reinstalled 4 times without success. Help!!!

Hi Simmers the world over,Anyone with the above program?I am having trouble trying to open/run the Airbus...tried all sort of ways known in flight simming!! :) (maybe not all!!??)My system is WinME, 1Gig CPU, Asus Geforce3 64bit graphic card with 30.82drivers,with 768mb memory and Direct X 8.1The system halts sometimes when it trys to run the Airbus:- saying I have NOT ENOUGH system resources and the standard "send don't send" window pops up!!I had managed to get the "Aircraft" to boot up (very nice) but it stops there! Hi, I have fs2004 and it works great until it adds clouds. If no clouds I can have all the sliders in the display to the max or right and I will get between 25-30 fps but I put clouds on and it drops to about 2-5 fps. Do I need a better video card? WHat should I set my cloud display settings to without making them 2d. If I need a better video card any recomendations for a good video card that isn't going to clean my account out. To those of you that have downloaded version two, if you have version one installed please delete that. I forgot to add that to the instructions. Also, there will be a version three next week. Sorry for the rapid updates but I'm learning new tricks as I go. Version three will add the park between downtown and Diamond Head, an essential feature to the look of Waikiki as the urban sprawl there in flight sim is wrong. I have FS2004 installed on a Windows 2000 Professional machine with a 64MB ELSA GLoria II Pro (NVIDIA Quadro) video board. W2K SP 4 has been installed along with the latest version of DirectX 9.0b.After invoking the ALT-ENTER key sequence to reduce FS2004 for access to desktop icons, when reverting back to FS2004, all I get is a BLACK BLANK space where FS2004 was once being displayed. FS2004 will still show up within Task Manager, along with a .tmp file that also shows up in the Task Manager.This problem then usually wants to send an error report to Microsoft.I had no problems reducing FS2002 on this same machine. Well, after one and a half mos. of tweaking to no avail. The poor performance in my system of FS-9 using any and all settings. turning settings down to the left with nothing left looking worse than fs7. Constant low slide show frames, stutters no matter what I try. What tweak I try, snake oil and other wise never works or will work once then no more.I've decided to go back to fs8 until MS fixes this sim. If not then I won't be. I want to fly again not try to fly, fix, fly, fix, stutter, stutter, crash.I'm just tired of it whats the point of the nice new autogen if you have to disable it in order to land your plane, whats the point of having the new clouds if you can't use…

I just got a new computer, 3.06, 1.5gig ram, 1. I need to know is there any files I need to download before I Install FS2004 in this computer?2. I have seen many screen shots of some beautifull scenery, is this MS or other?3. Same question with clouds?4. I don't know how many of you know this, but in FS9, if you look at the NAVIGATION LOG in the kneeboard, you can actually see the ETE and the ATE and the ATE is updated after you pass the waypoint.Pretty cool. You can gauge how far ahead or behind schedule you are.

Hey all,I'm trying to swap the panel and sounds of one aircraft with those of a different one and I can't seem to make this combination work.I installed the Grant/Choate/Swindle Beaver then replaced the Panel and Sound folders with those of the Banting/Lavigne Beaver. I then added the gauges and sounds for the Banting/Lavigne Beaver to their respective FS9 folders.When I run it though I end up with the panel and sounds of the default Cessna 172! Can anyone tell me what I'm missing?Thanks,Steve

I recently just started to download different airport scenery and for the last 3 times I flew to the airports that had the scenery the plane was not capturing the ILS (it works every time with a default scenery). Is it a diffenert way to capture the ILS with a downloaded scenery than with a default scenery?

Hi everybody!I've got the well-done Airbus-Pro (with A319 to 321) package from PSS, which will be patched for FS04.Now I've just read the systems-manual for their upcoming A330/340 and I'm asking myself: Why should I buy it?AS far as I can see, there are no new cockpit-instruments /features added. When I'm in 2D cockpit mode, or after switching from FSNavigator, this is what the screen looks like most of the time. If I press the alt key, then click on the main screen again, it goes back to normal (after the screen has blinked on and off for 5 or so seconds, argh.)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/36463.jpgI've tried messing with the multi_res setting but that dosn't seem to help. A MS tech told me that all the files loaded in Win XP are not necessary to run FS2004 (or FS2002). She recommended running FS2004 in clean boot mode if you are having "problems". I tried it and everything seems to run faster, including select a flight, flight planner, etc. And, I get very stable framerates at 30 fps (haven't tried higher yet).The clean boot method is described in MS Knowledge Base document 310353.Give it a try!

Hi!Just tried to fly inside a cloud without seeing a)the terrain below and :( the sky above...IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE!!I tried thick stratus and cumulus-layers (also overcast-situation) but I could always see the ground or the blue sky out of the VC.Only by reducing the visibility to the minimum I was able to get a situation like being in a cloud.Is anybody able to be really inside a cloud (no visib. at all)? I have fs2004, and all of a sudden I cannot run the program. Hwen taking off, it stutters so bad, ot is horrible.
