I am trying to install my FFX738 with Andy karstetter's NDK739V20022ndgen panel into FS9.I have it but the exterior lights and panel sound don't work.I just copied the panel to FS9 and the gauges to the FS9 gauges folder.Do I need to do anything else?Also,I read somewhere about making a change to get the GPS working.Can anyone help me?Thanks,Ron

Hi All, I know it may sound a bit trivial but!, after moving from the default 800X640 or whatever it was display setting for fs9, when I now start up fs9 the splash screen is three quarters of the way up,and the same to the left on my monitor, just the splash scren, everything else in fs is OK, it's just a bit niggly thats all,anyone got any ideas here as to how to fix this,PS, it's the same in 1024x768x32, and 1280x960x32 as well,thanksSteve.

Hi,Most of the time I use the CH yoke, but sometimes I want to connect my usb sidewinder FF2 to fly airbus, jet fighters, etc.Is there a way to connect the sidewinder and when disconnecting it get the CH setup back, I mean, without loosing the axis and buttons assignments ?Thanks,ulisses

Rant on...I will eat crow if I am wrong, but I find this simply annoying beyond believe. I got a letter from the rebate processing saying that I did not submit the required proof of purchase for past version.I sent photocopies of the 4 CD's and photocopies of the CD case for FS2002 Professional. It says clearly on the Rebate form that photocopies of the CDs are acceptable proof of ownership for the previous version.I am normally not bothered by this type of thing, but customer service in general exhibits has so much incompetence these days that I have reached my limit....Rant over:-fume- Myles

I installed a new splash screen randomizer for fs2004 and it totally screwed up everything. I uninstalled it and fs2004 runs fine again with the exception that I cannot get my original splash screen to activate. It is in my Uires folder but on start-up all I get is a blank-black screen. How do I re-activate the original splash screen? As an added question, how do you change to a different splash screen if you wanted to? Thanks for your hoped for response.

Hello friends!FSCentre team is starting a new virtual pilots club - DC-3 Club. We are collecting information and photos of DC-3's ever flew, then we will repaint them and will add to our fleet. Every pilot will get corresponding aircraft that he always flies (if not stated sometimes otherwise). For start we will try to get at least 10 machines under control, it means full repaints and information. Very strange... All my planes, including default, are "unstable" under 8,000 feet. I looked at the winds and it indicates winds direction but no wind speed. The speed is also unstable, going up and down. Any solution? Thanks.

Help with FS2004 Intsallation problems would be much appreciated....I installed FS2004 on my PC (Sony Vaio Pentium P3-1200 256mb RAM with Intel 82830M Graphics Controller). During the installation procedure I was prompted to install DirectX 9.0a, which I did. But here's the problem... when FS2004 started the Intro screen appeared then disappeared again a few seconds later.As I thought my graphics controller may not be compatible with DirectX 9 (despite the PC being just two months old), I completely uninstalled FS2004 an then downloaded with latest drivers for my graphics controller from Intel.After re-installing FS2004 (was not promted to install DirectX 9 this time so m…

I'm wondering if it is possible to replace the huge 2004 GPS with the older 2002 version? Whikle I appreciate the power of the new Garmins, I find having to constantly turn it on and off tedious. It takes up so much of the panel and shrinking ot renders it about useless. Any way to bring the old one back in??Thanks,Dave

When running FS9, my cpu runs it at 100%. I stopped numerous XP services, exited all apps etc.. I have an AMD XP 2400+ with 256 PC 2700 RAM on XP, GeForce 3 Ti200. I have a Gigabyte 7 VRXP mobo. My sliders are in the average position. Any ideas why the cpu would consume 100% for fs9? Does anyone else have this problem?

Has anyone purchased and tried the newly released photorealistic Chicago scenery from FSfreeware? Just wondering how it is and would love to see some screenshots.

Anyone else experienced this? Tried twice last night, again this evening. It hangs during the "Atlanta.cab" install.....can't get past it. This is a just built PC, have already installed tons of things flawlessly on a fresh XP Pro load. I install all games on their own Partition. Just defragged, removed all temp file crap before latest install...same error. No scratches on the CD either.Thanks!

having earned a sel private certifate in 1996, if find the checkride in 2004 quite challenging. I've yet to complete the steep turn manuever successfully in my instructors eyes. Held alt,speed and turn to within allowable limits, (actually pegged twice in a row),45 to 60 degree turn and still receive "too shallow of a turn" message. Guess i'd better turn in my logbook. Anyone else experiencing such a message. Tired of trying, takes too long to get to 2000' each attempt.

I am still trying to decide if I want to buy this sim. The two complaints that I see most often are the ground textures and the flight models. I see a few add-ons and tweaks for the ground textures but is there anything that can be done about the flight models? Are they open architecture? I am hoping for the 'feeling' of flight similare to IL-2. Will this be possible by tweaking?

Does anyone else have this panel? I've lost my copy and would kindly ask anyone to e-mail me a copy.It is the one he made with a combination of DF737, Flight1 DC9 and and other gauges you should already have if you want the panel to work. PLEASE! PLEASE! could someone tell me how to edit your panel.cfg or aircraft.cfg so you can see wing views of your aircraft when you look left or right from the cockpit (numpad 4 and/or 6), i dont mean installing wing view bmp's or pictures of wings, i mean being able to see the actual wing of the aircraft your flying!! Hi I have just up greated to fs 2004 from my old fs 98 after a long break from playing it WOW! what a change what i would like to see is the default airport in fs 98 on the 2004 version i think it was megs field but i cant find it i think its in the usa can someone please point me in the right direction thanks Colin.
