I would like to download the FFX/SGA AA 737-800 aircraft (repaint), but it states that a "base package" must first be installed. I searched high and low, but I cannot locate the base files. Can anyone point me in the right direction.Thanks!

I guess this post will turn into a major venting on my part, so if you don't want to hear it, bail now.I downloaded FSHS back in March, and was impressed enough to buy the product outright, after a few shots with the demo. Was doing a shot hop from Molokai to Honolulu, IFR. ATC started to clear me for a ILS approach for 4R, but I decided I wanted to do a visual for 4L, I requested and recieved clearance for a visual on 4L with a side step to 4R. Wondered allowed what were they doing. Doing the approach, and listening to ATC, I noticed that it appeared that they had VFR traffic landing on 4L and IFR on 4R. But the cool thing was that when they gave me the turn to line up and call the RWY, I was also given traffic at my 6, a B763. Been around a while, but still a relative newbie to vatsim relative to all of the ins and outs.Installed FS2004 some time ago, and am now trying to implement VatSim flights for the first time. (Implementing SBRelay, latest issue)Once communication is established, I see a repeated warning in SB that my first name and surname must be registered correctly or I am fixing to be in trouble. A "Free" update is now available for Flight Deck III as long as you are willing to "Pay" shipping and handling. I always was taught that Free and Pay were mutually exclusive. Maybe I am getting cynical in my old age, but I get upset when people cannot support their customers without adding more to their own pocket. HiI've got a little request concerning the .fx files for Project Airbus. Recently I had to reformat my computer and I backed up some fs folders such as aircraft, scenery etc.. but I didnt back up my effects folder. So now when I use a PA aircraft, the nav lights, beacon, strobe, wing lights don't work, only the tail, logo lights and landing lights function. I don't want to have to download 14MB just to get the effects files back, so could someone PLEASE email me the missing effect files? I use this gauge in the panels of several of my generic dual and four engine Jets.Unable to get the "Elec" annunciator to reset (go out or off). Is anybody useing this gauge in other aircraft besides the Concord, and have you been successful in getting the light to extinguish.In FS2002 I had the same problem, but I discovered that if I would save my present situation as a flight and then reset the flight, that the light went out then and operated normally which was acceptable.This does not seem to work in FS2004. Can anyone enlighten me...Using FS9 and all of the above the winds still make massive sheers, even with wind smoothing turned on. And, the viz jumps around from low to high, even though I have viz change smoothing turned on. Really, it seems that the FSUIPC has very little effect on external inputs, and is therefore not working properly. I have PAYED for the most up to date versions of everything. I know there have been issues, but what's the latest?Luke

Does anyone have any info regarding the performance of FS9 on WinXP as opposed to Win98SE. I am currently running on Win98SE, due to lower overhead of the OS, and was wondering whether XP provides any better frame rates due to better memory handling or anything else. All the panels are blacke windows in cockpit view.The tool tips work up I cant see any gauges.Kevin

I`ve just installed FS2004 and with it a new joystick (Logitech Wingman 3D) but when I try to take off with eithe single or multi engined aircraft I get a very very strong pull to the side, mostly to the right with single engines. I have read about torque but this is ridiculousChecked the joystick calibrations but still no joy.Can anyone offer me some guidance to correct this problem, because trying to correct the oversteer cause me to progress down the runway in a zig-zag fashion.I`m alos finding the throttle doesn`t seem to be effective untill its turned up to at least 50%I would be most grateful for any ideasa - comments etc etcmany thanksGeorge

Hi there,I just got the new MS Flight Simulator 2004 and I got some problems with the water effects settings. The computer does not allow to set water effects to high, always when I klick "OK", the computer resets this setting to "low". It means that the water is completely dark during sunset and sunrise, and there are no reflection effects.My computer has a GeForce II MX Card and about 1300 MHZ.It would be great if anybody could help me.Thank you,Jorin Bonney
