Since I started using Ken Salter's FSAutoStart utility, I have been having difficulty taking screen shots using FSScreen. FSScreen shows the picture in its 'last shot' window, but no files are saved. Any ideas what might be the issue? Must be a service I'm disabling but can't imagine which. Its NOT print spooler...first thing I thought of. I'll start enabling one by one unless someone can point me in the right direction.Thanks!sg

If the ATC can vector AI planes to get established on an ILS approach, Then could it be that Airways, DP's, and Stars could be added where the AI planes get routed onto thoses? When you create an AI FP with Ttools you dont put what kind of approach to fly so in theory there is a part of the code of FS that detects where the plane is landing and what kind of apporach is being used and then puts it altogether. So could it be coded to go the next step and have airways and plates added to that process? The FP using Ttools wont need any info added for waypoints or things like that because the hard code would see a departure and arrival location and put it altogether like ho…

Hi,I was using my Canon scanner today and when I pressed the 'COPY' button on the scanner nothing happened. Now, this was unexpected so I reviewed my settings in Windows Services (type: services.msc in the Run box).The solution came quickly:I had disabled 'Human Interface Device Access' and this is needed for correct operation of Hot Buttons on external devices - like my scanner. I changed the setting to 'Manual' and now all is well.In FSAutostart I suggest you should first try setting it to 'Stop and Restart'. Hello Guys,I still trying to find out why the landing/lights of Dreamwings Embraer 170 cannot be seen from the interior of the cockpit. I understand that since this model is a GMAX one, this feature was supposed to be Ok and that it is very possible that I made a mistake as I installed tme model in my FS9.Could anyone kindly help me to overcome this problem ? Hi all,I just purchased a brand new and expensive Asus Radeon 9800XT 256DDRgraphic card.I'm very disapointed with its Anti Aliasing performance.It is set to 6X, and yet the planes do not appear very nicely.I would like to know the opinion of GeForce FX 5950 Ultra users.I'm thinking of bringing the card back and return to nVidiato whom I've always been faithfull.On another note, I installed the latest Catalyst 4.1 drivers.Is there any chance that re-installing fs9 and fs2002 would givebetter result? Hi all,yesterday I encountered the following while flying over KBOS. See attached screenshot.I am using a water textures enhancement (waterzone.zip, by Lynn and Bill Lyons and Daniel Buechter) which produces good results so far, but I havent been able to pinpoint the problem with those blurry textures in the distance as seen in the screenshot.Do I need to adjust my visibility settings? I cant seem to set it <60mi in the weather options dialog.Ah, before I forget it, my rig: P4 2.4, 512mb ram, GF4 4200 64MB.Thanks,celticmatrix

Was working great before. Now with the latest version whenever I try to start all I get in my WinXP Start Bar is :"FSAutostart - C:WindowsFSAutostart.ini" and the program never starts. Anybody else come across this? (Why do I have the feeling someing got deleted by mistake....)

When I change view from straight ahead to left or right over the wing, my monitor screen flashes red or green just for an instant then the normal over the wing view appears. Am I the only one with this. I searched here without finding anything.I've tried these:1. I uninstalled FS2004 and reinstalled in a different directory.2. I deleted all the fs9.cfg files and let FS2004 renew them.3. I deleted the nVidia 53.03 drivers and installed the older 52.16 set.I'm beginning to wonder if I have a graphics card that is going bad.Interestingly, between changing drivers, I brought up FS2004 using the software drivers. Can someone tell me me if it is possible to get FS Autostart to start up SBRelay before starting FS9( Or if all else fails ,after FS9).I've followed the instructions under "Configure" but when I start FSAutostart ,afte going thru the "shutdown running processes " ,it next starts FS9 then gives me an "invalid path to SBrelay .exe" message. As online flyers will know SBRelay really needs to be the very first thing to start.Regards the "invalid path" the path shown is in fact the correct one ( In my PC E:/SBRelay/SBrelay.exe).Do I need to put anything in the "command line" - some kind of MSDOS command perhaps?I should add that I've only just started trying FSAutostart ou…

Firstly, Ken, thanks for the freeware.Now the question. First please let me explain that the peak of my computer knowledge is turning PCs on and off and installing freeware onto FS2K2. That's it.So, I'm on WinME and am given the option to turn off a list of programs on FSAutostart. Do I set all of them to 'stop and restart' or only some of them? Will 'bad things' happen if I set some of them to go off?Any friendly, simple explanations would be greatly appreciated. Maybe you'll also help someone who's afraid to ask :-)Thanks!Gavin

Hi all,I just had the most amazing and exciting flight so far in FS2004.If you want to know more read on.....I decided to fly from KLAS to Aspen (Dave Erickson), in the Eaglesoft Premeir1.I took of from KLAS, and had to battle some severe turbulence at about 10000 - 13000 feet. after that all was good until reaching around FL280 where i got more turbulence. I don't know if others have seen this or had this problem but after installing many scenery packages (Simflyer's, Lago, Aerosoft, etc.) as well as freeware I find FS2k4 constantly has to REBUILD THE DATABASE every time I start the sim (causeing much slower sim load times than need be). This should only happen once when installing new scenery, not every time the sim starts. Can anyone tell me what went wrong and/or what can be done to get things back to normal???Thanks to anyone who can help...

I just tried using the updated fsmetar and I currently do not have the registered version of Peter Downson utility.I like the GUI interface and it did work w/o the registered version but not to its full potential.My ? is it worth the 23 euro for the reg version, or should I keep the MSFS real weather that I currently use in FS9.Thanks

I've just noticed that in my FS9 Manhatten isn't an island (or even a peninsular) but is connected at both ends to the rest of New York. Is this part of the default installation or part of a mesh/landclass add on I may have installed?Victor

Hi people...first post here in a looooooooong while. We're getting an error message every few minutes which tells us that there is no space left on the C: partition of our HD. C: can contain 978 MB and we've checked and it tells us that there's over 600 MB left free. Every time this message comes up we do the disk-cleanup and then it comes back...all the time. We have Norton Anti-virus 2003 Pro with our defs up to date so I don't think it's a virus. Is there anyone who would have any advice on this? cya!Matti
