Is anyone else experiencing a default heading bug & VOR pointer that show setting other than pointing to the North on startup? This happens on all aircrafts I have. How can I get them to start up in the default all pointing to North as it should?Thanks.

Can anyone help me? I have FS 2004, it loads without a problem, but when I try to start it, the program just hangs, in Task manager it say's "program not responding".My FS 2002 loads and works just fine. I really don't know!Can anyone help??????:-(

I've tried several searches but havent found files that allow lights to come on for the spoilers and reversers when activated. I had an amazing low level clearance over london city centre in a seneca Five twin by Thames Radar.Initially I was cleared south to North over London Bridge west of London city airport but then turned even further west over the city because of departing aircraft.I snapped some pictures although the air was fairly turbulent.If anyone is interested I can place these shots in the screenshot forum later today or tomorrowBestPeterhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/80757.jpg

Greetings,I thought I remembered somewhere in my past searches for FS2004 utilities, a .dll that was similiar to HostSB but for 3rd party apps like FSNavigator, etc. that would be displayed in FS2004 "Full Screen Mode".Is there such a utility or is my mind just wishing for it?I am currently adding a 2nd monitor, and that's taking up the rest of my desk space. My second monitor will be dedicated for SquawkBox, radio stack, GPS, etc. I would use WideFS, but that would involve another machine (more background noise) and a 3rd Monitor (which I've already stated that there's no more room). hi there,i have a problem with my keyboard assignments. after installing a new scenery (eddw by oliver pabst. Great freeware scenery btw), my assignments for aircraft doors (Shift+E) and pushback (shift+P) are not working anymore. there is no way to assign them new in the game assignments menu, so i don`t know how to get these features back... could pls anyone tell me how to assign the keys for these funktions? sim is very anoying without them.thx and regards,phil

Over at Raytheonaircraft.com...http://raytheonaircraft.com/beechcraft/kin...c_Perf_2003.pdf...the B350 performance specs say that for a high-speed cruise, the B350 will get 312 knots at FL240 burning 773 pph.Well, earlier tonight I flew a flight (FS2002) from KAJR to KPNS, at FL240. At 74% TQ, 86% NG, I was burning 760 pph, at 166 KIAS, but my TAS was only 237 knots. That fuel burn is pretty close, but the airspeed is way off.Anyone with more knowledge than me want to shine some light on that? Is it really possible to get 312 knots? At higher altitudes, with a tailwind, I can sometimes get a GS of 290 or so, but that's still not 312.

... the first time I ran it, it removed ALL gauges from default 747. Of course, I moved the gauges back. Also, I get error reports about missing gauges that were still in my planes. Perhaps this is OE of some kind? The program seems simple enough, though.Alex M.

Hi all,Please help me with this. Often, when I am at the gate preparing for a flight according to a IVR flight, the engines suddenly and spontaneously go to half or even full throttle. This may also happen when I am at the runway, waiting for the AI traffic to land before getting clearance to take off. I have no idea what causes this. I've tried to detect a pattern in this behaviour, but there seems to be none. Anybody have any ideas to correct this annoting behaviour?

OK, so I have a flight setup somewhere (doesn't matter where), and at the same time I'm running an audio file or streaming audio on iTunes or Windows Media Player. When I go to look at the spotplane view of my aircraft, all of a sudden, the sound stops and I loose about 30-35 frames per second, usually down to about 1-2 fps. According to WMP or iTunes, the file is still playing. Also, all audio from flight sim and everything else on the computer will not play unless I restart the computer. I have a weird problem that seems more than a passing glitch. When I start a new flight, I find that many (but not all) of my airplanes start with their ailerons frozen in an odd position (FWIW, usually the right aileron is up, and the left slightly down.) Moving the ailerons produces a very limited range of motion; and changing trim doesn't seem to help. If I try to take off, the plane quickly veers off the runway, and won't fly.I've found a workaround, but not a solution. Whenever this happens, if I load another aircraft (typically a non-stock plane: the Bellanca works the best), the new aircraft seems fine.
