As I said in another post, this is the greatest little freeware a/c that has come along for a while. And to think it has been produced in only 10 megs. It is just a shame that it has been released without any documemntation - a not altogether uncommon thing for freeware.Anyway, I have been slowly coming to grips with it and have gotten most of the instruments working -- some require individual switches to be turned on to make them work.I have attached a JPG with 4 instruments shown that I can't work out what they are for or how to use them. All I know is that if you don't turn on the switches on instrument D , then the Gyro A won't work . Anybody have any ideas or speak …

Hello!I use AI aircraft in my FS9 and FS2002 a lot and, of course,enjoy them.However, my prop planes take off and fly nice, but tend to bounce when touching the runway.This gives a ridiculous impression and is annoying.Does anyone know if this can be fixed (the aircraft cfg. file/air-file) ?Grateful for any help.Thanks!Hans HermanssonSWEDEN

I have several add-ons and I don't if it is one of them or a setting with in FS2004, but when I take off, a window automatically pops up with a chase plane view. Anyone know how to turn the option off so it doesn't do this?Thanks!

I am a novice and need assistance (obviously!). What is an AFCAD file? What does one do when instructions ask for "Textures required, Airport 2.6, VOD, Nova & Nova Gold"? What are these items? i,e, as mentioned in FS2004 Scenery library, under Melbourne Australia File ymm/2004.zip by Claude Schmidt and Sydney Ses Bases Filename sydcbase.zip by Clive Marriott. I want to download these and others, however I am not familiar with these terms/procedures. I have resized my panels in a .stn or .flt file for my Parhelia tri-display configuration.But now I have to load a flight .flt file that contains wx and time settings in the flt file. Then I have to do manual loading of the flight plan, wx and time day settings to sync everything upIs there anyway to push the current panel settings back to the Panel or Aircraft.cfg for that aircraft, so panel sizes are set correctly when I launch fromthe create a flight rather than select a flight screen?Thanks!Barry

I saw an interesting file, updated jetways and terminals for some major airports. Now I am confused as to what they do. I already have downloaded AFCAD files for the big airports, and do not want add-on scenery. But what do these files add actually? And are they worth it? thanks!

I could most likely ask this question somewhere else but I thought I'd see what you guys have to say about it. I'm wondering about speed restrictions at high altitude airports like KDEN (5,000+ feet). At a general airport altitude of say 600ft speed must be kept under 250kts until 10,000ft. This is for safety reasons including the probability of high flying birds. Now if the airport is already at 5,000+ feet, I dought a bird would be flying at 15,000ft even though the ground is now only 5,000ft below you. So what is the altitude/speed restriction for airports like Jeffco or KDEN??? Do you have to maintain 250kts all the way up to 15,000ft or is it still 10,000ft? Thi…

I noticed that USA Roads is set to disable the original roads by default. The problem is that in other countries besides the continental US there are no roads. I can turn the oringinal roads back on for the rest of the world by going to the scenery library but the problem is that the USA Roads overlap the original roads. How can I have the original roads for the rest of the world without the USA roads overlapping the original roads?

Was wondering if anyone had any opinions on who makes the most realistic business jet? I am not looking for any particular model of business jet but am instead interested in a jet with a very realistic portrayal of its real world counterpart. A sort of PMDG 737 realistic business jet. I know Eaglesoft is a popular business jet maker but from looking at their site and some of the various reviews on their jets, made me hope there were other developers with more realistic versions of these jets. Gah. Thanks to PMDG I am now spoiled and expect nothing less than what they offer. My flightsimming will never be the same. Thanks for the help.

Dont' know what the heck happened, but all of a sudden the GPS on all my aircraft won't work. I push the GPS button, but it won't become "visible". I've tried everything I can think of, but to no avail. Anyone ever come across this before?? Any thoughts on how I could fix this??

I consider myself fairly knowledgeable in FlightSim going into my 5th year sim-flying. I have a question about changing settings on an Airbus panel:When i go to increase or decrease the settings, they only incease or decrease in increments of 10 or 100 or 1000, if I pause then click, it may increase by 5 then back to 10. How can I change (or correctly) add increments by 1, similar to the panels in the default MSFS 9 planes. I am currently using FS2004, but I remember this being an issue (with me) back in FS2002. Any help would be great THANKS!

Hi all,I have just persuaded myself to purchase and install Ruud Faber's wonderful European textures.My question relates to the impact these textures have on the rest of the world. I was slewing around Albuquerque, NM admiring the accuracy and detail of another recent wonderful install, USA-Roads, when I became aware of the presence of some of FScene's European ground textures dotted here and there. Hi,Just downloaded and installed the sweet little AN-14 that has just been posted in the library.WOW, what a great freeware plane, but beware, it has no 2D panel, but the VC more than makes up for it.Any plane that you can land at 26kts is alright by me :-lol, apparently this can take off and land ACROSS a runway :-lolIf you like this sorta plane, go get it.When you have got it, if anyone can figure out how to start the engines without CTRL-E ,please tell me.Also, if someone could tell me the function of the little "wings" on either side of the nose, that would be great, I think they are some sort of AOA indicator or speed indicator, not sure though.CheersDan.

In the Boeing 737 versions, the temperature is shown as TAT (Total Air Temperature) which is related to engine-performance.Does a formula exist to convert TAT into SAT (Surrounding Air Temperature) or into OAT (Outside Air Temperature)?TAT doesn't mean anything to me, since I am not a flightengineer. i have finally nailed it down! i know what all these screenies were reminding me of all along... HIROSHIMA THE MORNING AFTER!where i fly, rarely, you just don't notice all these roads buzzing at 3000 feet AGL. in the rural areas they merge pretty well, depending on the season, with the surroundings; hard to tell if there is a road between two fields or not, unless you're exactly above it. and in the city the streets are hidden by the... real-life autogen! tall buildings downtown, trees uptown and in the suburbsmajor highways stand out a little better--i think the term is "environmental damage"--but in terms of visibility (not accuracy) microsoft got it about right the fir…
