Hi all.. On some freewarepanels that I use, for example a panel for the 737-500, the autothrottle is going up and down, unable to hold right speed. This is only at low speeds during approach. I usually have to simply turn it off, but it would be neet if it would work properly... Any ideas? /johan

I am having a problem getting any Ultimate Traffic aircraft to appear at Haneda Tokyo Intl airport which is part of Japan Scenery's Tokyo Photorealistic scenery.But I do get AI aircraft at Narita Intl where they are all in the wrong place e.g on the wrong sides of the gates and some parked in buildings.All very dissappointing after having paid so much money.Also the seasons do not change - which we are told are meant to.I wonder if anyone else is having these problems?regardsRichard

I was amazed at the incredible standard produced by PMDG with their stunning 737 range.I am now amazed at the offering in the form of a Kingair 200 from Aeroworx.seeing aircraft built to these sort of standards makes you frankly dissatisfied with anything less be it a large heavy or a tiny ultralight.I could quite happily delete 80% of my aircraft stable including the stock aircraft.Another couple of mentionable aircraft for me have to be the Cessna Conquest 421c (flight1 software)which although now becoming dating still has that "feelreal" sensation of a twin and of course the Realair simulations SF260.If microsoft decided to release FS2006 without stock aircraft(ignorin…

Has anyone been able to find the service pack download as announced on the AVSIM home page? Nothing at the Eaglesoft home page.

Unfortunately, this panel is no longer entirely free. The author, Oliver Moser, was unaware that he had to pay for data transmission, so he had to remove the download section from his site, http://www.omwings.com/TriStar.htm . The panel is still available, for a nominal fee, on CD. The cost is 5 euros for EU countries, otherwise 12 euros.I emailed Oliver and suggested he offer it through AVSIM. Howdy,Just wondering if anybody else has experienced a seasonal CTD whilst flying in NZ in the past couple of days (especially on the Eastern coast of the South Island)?Last night, set up FS2004 for a flight using the C172SP (with RealAir Simulation .air file and panel) between NZCH and NZOM. For weather, downloaded a METAR from the IFALDA site (which links to the NOAA site) for the time of the flight (0845hrs.) and ran it through the freeware weather programme, FSMETAR.About 25 minutes into the flight (just south of NZHR), computer CTD's! I was flying to Ronald Reagan Washington National (KDCA) and I noticed that all the approaches are pretty "challenging" per the published approaches on the GPS?Is it true that 19 does not have a straight in because of the no fly zone around the government buildings?If so. Do you really have to come in at around 150 and then turn to 190 right at the very end of the approach?I wasn't ready for it the first time, so I had to go around, but Whoa Nelly, that's an interesting final.Also, for real world pilots out there, if you are making the VORDME 19 approach, at what point do you guys begin to turn?It looks like my approach took me right over the Watergate hotel and Georgeto…

just talked with someone with the local airport weather station and was told their setup is "locked" to 10 miles visibility and no more because 10 miles is enough for VFR flying so the actual visibility could be more. he said he has seen 100+ miles before. my problem was with getting 50 miles vis. no matter the conditions. got it yesterday in pouring down rain. called MS but didn't get much help. he did try though. i did get 10 miles vis at 5:00am this morning but not now. i'm in the charleston, s.c. area and am wondering if anyone near here or anywhere for that matter is getting the same thing. could it be there's a glitch in one of the reporting stations? just trying to…

I know there were threads recently about how to get blue skies (i.e., not the ghastly, white, default MS skies at 10nm vis) in FS9 and using FSUIPC. I haven't succeeded in achieving this yet. Can anybody tell me exactly where I go in FSUIPC to make this blue sky appear with vis. of 10nm? Sorry for repeat request but it's been confusing to me. Appreciate any advice or link, thanks!JS

I deleted all the afcad files from my fs9 directory, but do not want to reinstall UT because of all the repaints I put into the game with the program, I don't want those settings deleted! I can't find out anywhere where I can reload all the afcads that came with UT, is there a way without reinstalling?? Thanks!

This is my problem with FDE:I have rather heavy plane with FDE derived from 744 but I would like to tweak it to be much more STOL...for example to shorten its departure length in a half?Which exactly aircraft.cfg/.air parameters should I start to tune?I have to mentions: this is an AI aircraft not flyable one.

I am preparing a web site and need your comments. Contained within the site will be a collection of flights, adventures, races and more. Each will contain real world weather. Where possible the flights will be based on "real world" events such as the MacRobertson Race (1934)which was provided by MS. I have a real time weather file of that race (2003 weather of course) ready as well as quite a few others. Another example is a tour of Europe set on either 29/30th Dec 2003 or late April 2004 which could be chosen depending on how challenging you would like the flight to be (Dec 2003 is as close I can find to "impossible" weather for Europe).
