Well, seems like it's ok to ask based on those other posts....Anyway, if there are any flyers with USA Roads familiar with the Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey area, I'd love to see Manayunk/Roxborough and the area around the Ben Franklin / Betsy Ross bridges... Maybe, also, the area where Route 73 and 295/Turnpike intersect.Last (pushing my luck here!) the area around KVAY, South Jersey Regional...(fingers crossed)thxAndrew

I just want to say that Mr. Shupe went "THAT EXTRA MILE" helping me with my Howard 500 texture issue!(created and uploaded additional DXT. textures which resolved my issue!) This added effort represents IMHO everything thats GOOD in our flightsim community! We are all very fortunate to have an aircraft creater(along with Mr. Thomas and Mr. Pas) with this type of positive attitude! I have found in this world there are two types of people,givers and takers; Mr. shupe is a BIG TIME GIVER! Just wanted to share this, RickB "Someday I will fly in a real B-17"!!!

Just to say that I've clicked my fingers to the bone adding lakes, rivers and roads to my Ground 2k4 Grand Teton NP project. I could probably add more but I need a rest!! Now, I'm going to double check what I've done and, assuming there are no major errors, I will post to the library soon (before end of week??). When it comes up I'd welcome any comments. This will be my first file post and G2k4 project so I'd appreciate any advice/comments/criticism.

I've UN/IN-STALLED several times trying to get rid of the QuickTips option. It's set to 0 (off) and FS9 reflects so in basic settings, but - you guessed it - the tips just keep popping up! ;-( You know: "Hit Crl-E to start engines", "You're Altimeter is incorrect"...etc, etc. Anyone had this issue and solved it?Ron McLeod CYEG

Hi!How about Taildragger taxiing? Everytime I want to steer, with Rudder Input only nearly nothing happens.When and if something happens (when the plane finally starts to turn a little bit), it won't stop turning even if i give full opposite rudder. It feels like the tailwheel steering doesn't have any effect at all.Anyone else has issues with taildragger taxiing? Would really like to know if this is a bug or a feature...Wether the differential brakes nor the Rudder can help me to get these beasts to go where i want them to go.How to? - Help!!Fox

Hey guys!Just wanted to let the people who havent allready downloaded the brand new Howard 500, to do so. This is a awsome download! To me, the plane exceeds the quality of alot of Pay-ware aircraft on the market. This plane is detailed from the tread on the tires, down to the Breaks... The aircraft has a wonderful VC, awsome panel, if anything, is microsoft quality. If it was up to me, the aircraft would win the Avsim Freeware Gold Award. Hello,I have a question for anybody out there who has any information to offer. I figured I would just throw this idea out, Im not sure if it is possible to do, but here goes.For a while I have been thinking of creating a program. Or maybe not a program, maybe a special gauge, or a "trainer", or whatever. What if this program could automatically use the VC from one aircraft with the exterior model of another one. It really cant be THAT hard to do, can it? I am thinking that when in spot view, you could use the aircraft model that you think has a great exterior model, but lacks a VC. But then, when you change the view to Virtual Cockpit, this program could kick in, and cha…

Hi all, I'm running FS2004 on a Radeon 9800 Pro and have my monitor resolution at 1520*1140 and would like to run the sim at the same resolution but FS will only allow me a max resolution of 1280*1024. Does this can be fix or am I limitted to that?. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!Luis

I just noticed (has it always been like this??!!) that when flying at night, the red and white end of runway lights (only these, not any of the other runway markings, but at all airports) float above the ground by a foot or two, and so move around, 3D fashion, as you scan view. How can I lower them all and 'fix' them to the tarmac? Thanks,Martin S.

Hi, I removed a scenery from my simulator using the exe. that the author designed. I later went to starr up flight sim.2004 and at the start I am getting error messages in regards to this scenery: scenery error, area 064 is no longer availabe. It also lists 2 other areas. How do I remove these? Thank you,S.

I know it's a bit much to expect to find rabid enthusiasm for both flight simulation and the Tour de France in the same person or persons who also happens to possess the expertise necessary to develop scenery add-ons. But if such a person exists, wouldn't it be great to create an add-on that would simulate the TdF peloton as it winds its way along the roads of France, so that a FS helicopter pilot could simulate flying a TV camera helicopter?You'd probably have to add some roads that FS9 has left out, but that seems doable. You'd have to add at a minimum a moving peloton, but if boats and other aircraft can move, that seems doable, too. You probably wouldn't need a hun…

Hi,All of a sudden I can not start the SF260. It will start (and run) if I start another aircraft first and then choose the 260 aircraft. I have tried the StrongStart fix from RealAir and have change the aircraft.cfg file entry normalized_starter_torgue value from 1.73 to 2.00.Any suggestions would be appreicated....Thanks,

I am in the UK and use VFR Photographic Scenery. This does not include a night texture so it appears unrealistic at night. Does anyone know if it is possible to revert to the default texture automatically by time of day ie to use VFR during dawn, day and dusk and default at night?Thanks in advance

Hello,In a boeing full motion flight simulator one situation was kind of fog from 0 to 500 ft, but above 500 ft clear. So an overcast from ground to 500ft, above 500ft I can see the horizon, montains, etc.I was trying to reproduce that in FS2004 but I couldn't. I tried to set visibility at .5nm from 0 to 500 ft, but I still can see the ground in approach at 2000ft.I also tried to set an overcast cloud layer from 50 to 500ft, but using cumulus I see clouds even at 2000ft, if stratus I can see the ground.Thanks for any input,Ulisses

Super AC. Now if I could taxi it via the joystick such as I can with the default DC-3, I'd be a happy camper. I went to the Aircraft config file, and checked the setting for "tail wheel lock", which is set to "1". I believe this makes it active, but not being absolutely sure, I set it to "0" to see. No change. Still not steerable. Hope someone can shed some light.ThanksChris

I used to be able to raise my seat with Shift + Enter and to lower my seat with Shift + Backspace.Now nothing happens when I hit those keys and I can't figure out how to overcome the problem.Can anyone please help me?

hii purchased a Radeon 9600 XT 128 MB recently, however now i have almost the same framerates as before with my GF4 Ti4200 64MB.Is this normal?any special settings i need to take care of?any help is welcomeThanks
