HISome of my aircraft textures are blurry I have downloaded the GMAX Gamepack SDK from the Microsoft FS2004 website...Could someone tell me how to use it...I cannot load any aircraft textures (.bmp's)as the GMAX refuses to recognise them? I have read a previous post saying click on file then load extended image..I cannot find this anywhere...help appreciated.David

This is probably a ? that has been asked and answered before but I can't find a reference.Why does FS9 minimize in the middle of my reviewing flight operations in the library if I don't move the page down fast enough?Is there a search tool in AVSIM that allows us to look for answers to questions like this without having to wade through a hundred Q and As.Any help appreciated.JimVT

Hmmm.I just went out to buy the Super King Air B200. I got a page saying "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded".Looks like they are doing too good a job at Aeroworx in creating great aircraft.Any idea if there is another vendor handling this product?Wilson

Hi all! I am using the IFDG A320 with the Pss A320 panel using the latest FDE's for the two. Everything works fine but the EGT temp on the engine display always goes into the red even when taxiing. Is there anything i can do about this or not as the rest of the FDE works great. You can get it from the library listed as "pra32090.zip" by Pedro Oliveira. Thanks for your time,Richard

Hi,I am flying British Airways but ATC refuses to designate the aircraftin the usual `speedbird` callsign although it exists in the airlineslist. It totally ignores `speedbird`.Any ideas how I can get ATC to do this. `Speedbird` is called forin the aircraft cfg by the way.Would appreciate any assistance - ThanksJohn

FS Friends,Are there books available that EXPLAIN in detail how to do add on aircraft, scenery add ons, weather add ons, or network with the virtual ATC system. Hi all,I've been trying to enjoy Eric Joiner's wonderful white and orange navy paint scheme on my Carenado Mentor, but facing a strange problem. The textures load up fine the first or second time I start a saved flight, but then on the third or fourth I lose all textures for the right wing, elevators and some other details. On starting the flight a third time I usually get an entirely gray airplane- but all VC cockpit textures are fine (from both within and viewing in spot)!To "fix" the problem, I can re-install Eric's textures over the old install and all is well again... for a couple of flights. Hello togetherI have a problem and I wanted to ask you wheter you could help me. ATC always sends me to the same gate. Lets take an example: Madrid Barajas airport. I have installed an AFCAD2-File for Barajas and there are now so many gates, but ATC always send me to Gate T16. I dont know why. There are about 100 gates but no, ATC always wants me to taxi to T16. And T16 is a cargo gate. In my Aircraft CFG there is no indication that my airplane is a cargoplane.Its really disgusting :-(Could you help me?Thanks very muchgreetzRoberto

I recently started flying the Project Opensky CRJ-200 in FS2004, and I've tried two different add-on panels ("crj200_pnl.zip" by T. Costa and "replacement_project_opensky_crj_panel.zip" by M. Leegard). The airspeed/IAS hold and Mach hold don't seem to work above roughly 220 knots. That's as fast as I can go. Below that speed, the autopilot's airspeed hold works great. The operating manual that comes with the Posky CRJ indicates you can get up to Mach .74, but I've tried everything including arming and activating the autothrottles, and I can't increase the airspeed above approximately 220 knots using the autopilot. I noticed tonight after using FS9 and squawkbox 2.3 two items that I previously experienced in FS2002.1. I no longer can see the SB message in the green box that scrolls across the top of the FS screen. I hear the sound and have to switch over.2. I no longer can see other a/c in my area. ATC can see me but I can't see others.Have I forgotten a setting in FS9 to enable these things?Thanks

Hi everyone. Dont understand whats happened in last week! First Ifdg went down, then PAI, and now the MRAI site just went dead on me as I was downloading material.Is there a concerted attack going on on these sites? It does seem odd especially as they return after a few days.

Anyone know if this is the case? I think it would be a pretty wise move to completely redo the engine behind FS, as long as they knew what they were doing, of course. I heard somewhere that FS2004 is going to be the last of it's kind in terms of engine, file system, etc. Anyways, just wondering if anyone had any idea about that.

Hi,made a strange experience in FS2004 today. Was taking off from Tokyo to Munich climbing up to FL310 initial cruising altitude. As i reached this altitude there were no contrails. After some minutes of thinking about this i decided to perform some step climbs to see if they would appear anyway. Well, they did over FL320. The day before i was climbing out Munich/Tokyo to FL310. They were there as i was cruising.I'm using the real weather option.Under what conditions do contrails appear? Any temperature or air humidity limits? And the altitude?would be nice to get an answerTom
