In our virtual world it seems that the Russians are winning the race!...an-24, tu-154, the announced 114 and others and free!!. I have a real problem: I start ActiveSky and then run FS in full window mode. At times, I toggle to non-full mode, which is no problem. BUT then, when going back to full window mode, the mouse starts to flicker on the screen and the picture freezes!!Anyone has experienced the same issue? What can I do about that?

I've just uploaded my Grand Teton NP project to the Avsim library and so it should be available in due course.This is my first scenery project so please be kind to me!! I am trying very hard to find a USAirways repaint and a United (gray scheme) repaint for FS PAinter's A320. I found most of what else I was looking for but cant for the life of me find these. I downloaded a new panel (crj2pan2.zip) for the POSKY CRJ-200. Great looking panel, by the way. I noticed it had an Auto-Land button on it. I've never used it before.My question is, what functions does it typically perform? And when is the proper time to use it?I gave it a try but waited until I was already established on the localizer. It lowered the flaps, but I manually lowered the gear and armed the spoilers. Should it be switched off on touch-down or would it typically engage the reverse thrusters automatically?Thanks!Jim

Help!I changed the display settings in FS2002 and it changed my joystick assignments. I used to have the hat switch on my Wingman Extreme joystick set to specific views; look ahead, look right, etc. After changing the display settings, the hat switch changed to Pan a View. Now I can not figure out how to reset the hat switch to specific views.What I tried is in the controls assignments section. Click on the look left event. Than I click on the Change Assignment key. Than a change assignment window opens asking to press the joystick key that I want to assign to that action. So I press the hat switch to the left. I recently reinstalled WinXP Pro after a format of the drive. When I display the frame rates in FS2002 it say's that it's locked at 30 FMP.Can I unlock it to get better frame rates in FS2002 ? Thanks for any help that you can give me.Scott

Hi,When I'm running Fs2K4, with AI percentage on 100% (or lower percentages), sometimes when I'm flying, strange AI behaviour is seen on the radar screen in my cockpit. 100's of AI planes clouds are seen, FSP drops, and after a while they disappear. You can also see then with ctrl-w. Does anybody have had the same problem and know what I can do about it? Is it a bug in FS?

Sorry to ask a simple question like this, but I need to re-load my Mooney panel and gauges. Somehow I changed panels with one I don't like.....and didn't save. I've looked at all 4 disks in FS, and I can't remember how to access the original panels and gauges for a specific aircraft. Thanks in advance. Stan

Mine has become a hodgepodge of this and that, and I have traced some layering problems to this particular folder. I have unchecked it from my scenery library list. But, I am also wondering, are there default sceneries from the fs9 installation that I might be missing. I checked all for cd's but got no helpful infomation. Thanks...Sherm

Hi,in a desert there is some wind. But why doesnt the sand fly with it and makes it more difficult to fly there, takeoff and land in Africa where wind blows and the sand should be all around? FS9 doesnt simulates that, or am I wrong???

I'm fairly new to approach plates, and I'm having trouble knowing which one to use under VFR conditions. For example, let's say I'm flying into Rosecran Memorial airport in St. Joseph, MO (KSTJ). A search for charts on MyAirplane.com brings up:RNAV (GPS) RWY 17IAP RNAV (GPS) RWY 35IAP LOC BC RWY 17IAP VOR/DME OR TACAN RWY 35IAP VOR OR TACAN RWY 17IAP NDB RWY 17IAP NDB RWY 35ugh.Are there rules for which chart to use and when? Can I just pick one? Why would I want to use a NDB approach when I can use a VOR approach instead? There are so many variations, it's confusing to me.thanks in advance for any direction.
