Hi,I upgraded mu cpu from Pentium IV 2 GHz to 3.2 GHz. Thus I had to change motherboard (now a P4P800-E) and RAM (now 1 Gb). I have a SB Live sound card, an ATI Radeon 9800 PRO 128 Mb video card, Windows ME and FS2002.A strange problem occurs when I shift to the external views (S key): after a couple of seconds after I press S, most times the engine sound disappears if I use FS default aircraft, only if I give full thrust I can hear the spooling. There is no way to have it back unless I quit FS. BUT the big problem is that if I use 767 PIC (that is the only airplane I use), after pressing S the engine sound is replaced by a tremendous and very loud 'buzz' that needs an im…

I downloaded Edward Cox's new AFCAD file for the new KSNA senery. In the download there are 2 AFCADs one regular AFCAD so the comerical AI airlines land on the longer runway and another AFCAD so the general aviation AI planes land on 1R/19L.In order for this to work I have to use Ttool and change the flight plans of the GA AI planes from KSNA to 2SNA. I never used Ttools before (I use the automatic instalation of the offical Project AI packages) Can someone give me some step by step instructions on how to use Ttools to get the GA AI to land at the 2SNA AFCAD?

I recently downloaded a paint livery for the Embraer170v3. I don't know what the aircraft cfg. file should read. The instructions state to edit the aircraft cfg. file just as you would any other paint. The current cfg. reads, texture=house.

Hello everyone. I recently downloaded the Canadian Ice Reconnaissance Dash 7 for FS 2004 (filename: dash7cir.zip). I followed all the installation procedures (relatively straight forward) and started up FS2004, however I was unable to find the aircraft in the aircraft menu :(. I'm new to flight simulator and was wondering whether anyone else has experienced similar problems, how they corrected this issue, and whether they can offer me any advice on how to fix my problem? Very nice program, but I have several installed aircraft that are showing up as "*shared resource" in the Hangar Administration screen and are not clickable or editable. One of them is the Antonov A-14 with default installation. Is there any way to fix this?

I have been a simmer for a few years, recently upgraded to FS9, and I have something of a problem. Like many of us, I have added AFCADs and sceneries from various sources. My favorite area to fly is the Caribbean, and therein lies the problem. There are some particular areas that will not allow me to file an FP, or even view the field. If I enter one of them, for instance TNCC, it begins to load and then the screen goes back to my wallpaper. How do I search out the problem? The problems are all isolated in a particular area, southern caribbean and northern South america. How do I correct my problem? Any help will be appreciated.JC Martin

Where I live in North Yorkshire, England the RAF fly low level training missions in Hawks, Tornadoes and Harriers but one of the most graceful of planes is the advanced trainer Tocano, I would love to have this plane in my hanger but can't find it in the Avsim library, anyone know if it's available anywhere?Pete

Hi,I'd like to buy a photorealistic scenery but I can't decide on which scenery to buy. I read some reviews and according to most people, both sceneries are good.However, I think that Switzerland Professional looks a little bit greenish, compared to VFR Photographic sceneries which look more real as far as textures color is concerned. If you have installed my new AFCAD2 (AF2_KSNA.ZIP) please read. It has been kindly brought to my attention that if you use my replacement stock .bgl file (AP916200.BGL), you may stop aircraft from landing on 19L but you will also wipe out 48 other airports! YIKES! So please do not use that file. Just ignore that section of the install process and continue to use the original FS2004 AP916200.BGL and all will be fine. Sorry for any inconvenience or "shock" this might have casued some simmers! ;)(will have to come up with another way to stop those heavies)

Well im mostly a Piston jocky .. round engins flat what ever but i decided to buy the Beach super king air from Areoworx and damnit its got to be such a fine aircraft i just love it the ease of use and not a single problem...I done my first IFR flight with it as well its just great.... Why does it always seem that U.S. scenery add-ons always lag way behind the photorealistic scenery produced by European scenery add-ons and other non-US developers? Sure, we have the cream of the crop in Megascenery but IMHO the states/areas are too limited (I live in Michigan, which MS scenery generally has made a mess of and if anyone ever does photorealistic scenery for here - please take my money immediately). Mike Stone has made a Vickers Valiant. It is an aircraft that was needed in FS9, and the job is admirable, despite certain drawbacks. The shape and form look just right. The camouflage schemes given are approximate and minimal but okay.Flightwise, the model will fly in FS2002 where I tested it (I happen to have a peculiar problem with my FS9 at the moment--it crashes and reboots--and I suspect I need a cooling fan for my video card to fix it-so therefore I could not test it in its natural sim), but I found that in low engine powewr setting it tends to lose height too fast. Apologies for the large images - I was going to post thumbnails and links, but cannot get the beeping link code to work right.I was tweaking the display to get a good setting on some VFR photo terrain I bought this week.When I turn Mipmapping off, or even lower it the texture detail just goes. Help I owe to have made some confusion

FS2002ProGeesh All of the sudden, I think when Im flying out west my heading indicator, compass and ADI are incorrect and way off. Is this a bug or did I do sometning I cant remember? Is there a file I need to fix or replace?Also I have a weired thing happening to ant asphalt textures on my runways. Even in daylight it seems like i have landing lights on or something. The subject says it all.Sometimes it shuts down one, sometimes none, and sometimes I have a bunch of people praying in the cabin when both engines die.The engines don't let me start them again, so normally the problem ends up being a disaster.Surely there's some setting that I am missing.Thanks,Leo
