I started a flight today from Phoenix Deer Valley Airport to Santa Ana with a cessna using real weather today. I go this weird error message twice in the flight."An Error has occurred in the real weather updated 15min. Please check your internet connection" or something similar to this. I can't remember all of the words in the message. I have read the knowledge base but this particular error wasn't in it. Can anyone tell me what this means and how to fix it. I hope it isn't a virus. Hello guys, did anybody try to install the above package (by Tibor, Kolesnik etc.) in FS9? It is available in the avsim library and drew attention some time ago. So I tried to run it but when it loads it gives a bunch of error messages related to the gau files. Any ideas?Thanks.

I tried a VFR flight around my home vicinity. The default scenery is a joke, even citys are difficult to recognise.So I intend to get some add on scenery, and wan't some advice regarding what to choose.In the first place I'm interested in Europe and the vicinity around Gothenburgh (where I live), but even USA could be interesting since I fly there also.I'm interested in both individual airports and the whole Europe (and maybe parts of USA).I have found a lot of alternatives. One is a boxed version called 'European enhanced scenery' Abacus. According to the box at has been reviewed in avsim. But I find no such review or any other info about it on the net. I need a little help with this neat little add-on. How do I get rid of the GA generated flights that fs9 produces. I can see all the flights from GA-Traffic but the ones from the default traffic file is also there. It's a real eye-sore to see planes labeled Nxxxxx when I'm in Denmark and all the other GA's are label OY-xxx.Regards-Mikkel

I've downloaded lots of AI planes for GA flight plans. However, this has left my "select aircraft" list pretty muddled. I'd prefer that it show only the planes that I regularly fly.From what I understand, there is a flag in the .air file that determines whether or not a plane is flyable. I downloaded the AirEd program, but I don't see a setting to change for this.Any insight on what I need to do to get a plan off the flyable aircraft list?Thanks!

I have installed FS Addon Manger v 3.3 trial version and what I'm trying to do is just deselect aircraft so they don't show up in the aircraft drop down menu in FS2004So I start FS Addon Manger go to the View FS2004 aircraft and it shows all my aircraft then I select one and hit the key to hanger and that seems to work and now puts a hanger sign next to the aircraft.Next I switch to the view hanger and the aircraft is in there, But it's also still in the View FS2004 aircraft screen too!If I select the delete key it asks me If I also want to delete the aircraft from the hard disk I say no.What is the right way to get aircraft deselected using FS Addon Manger 3.3 ?Many tha…

Hello I will need some help with Dreamfleet's Archer II aircraft. Specifically I will need to add a auxillary fuel tank, like some collapsable tanks found in ferry flights which are installed in the back seats. The most important part is keeping the CG as close to reality as possible. If anyone can help, I would GREATLY appreciate it, since in less than three weeks, I'm about to embark on a round-the-world flight with such an aircraft based on a real flight.Thanks in advanceAris KingAthens, Greece

Hi,I'm looking for a program that will allow me to *manually* set the visibility in increments of 1SM or less. Ie., 2SM, 3SM, 4SM, etc.The weather options menu on FS2004 doesn't allow for such narrow increments above 1SM.It's important for a program I'm working on that I be able to do this.Anyone know? The default DC-3 of MSFS 2004 is a nice bird to fly, however the engine sound is absolutely horrible to hear and all but the famous DC-3 sound.Does somebody happen to know where to download a FS 2004-compatible soundfile, that produces the real,typical sound of the DC-3/Dakota engines??Paddy.
